We have had a Tempurpedic since day one or maybe it was like day 40 when they first came out, had to return because it failed in the 9th year, big sag=bad, bad, bad. But they were good and because our was the first model they replaced with a Supreme Luxe Cloud something or other. Have to say it was much hotter than our original and way thicker, which we could not understand. It was supposedly "cooler", NOT. So after having to buy new sheets and bedspread etc. etc. etc. it ended up about 40 % of the cost of our new Purple California King, thank you for letting us know you finally made a bed to fit our bedroom set. So we waited a long time but it was so worth the wait. Not so thick, but our stretchy sheets (we learned the 1st time) fit just fine and holy smoke it is so much more comfortable, softer but not too soft, your body still adjusts, way, way cooler, sits lower so much easier to get into and out of at night and way easier to change the linens since the sheets although stretchy were still too small and difficult to put on the bottom sheet, and one of the best parts not so doggone hard to roll over, which is an issue if you are a bit on the chubby or "robust" side, can't deny it, and last, I have noticed or rather not noticed hubby getting in and out of bed. So, to make a long story short....heaven all rolled up in a purple bag with the great squishy purple hand things and a great padded seat cushion...which, of course, I GET cause I discovered this baby and that is my reward...that is besides a great nights sleep, the best ever and affordable, since this is our Christmas gift to us. So take it from former Sealy, Stearns and Foster, and Tempurpedic mattress owners, you will not regret it and we are hoping it is our last bed. Over 65 so that is pretty much a given, so thanks PURPLE we love, love, love our new heavenly bed!!!! Merry Christmas! WAS Sleepless in Seattle. Please don't use my name but feel free to post.

Incredibly comfortable. It took a couple days to get used to being able to slightly feel the grate (not in a bothersome way, just a this is different from my old mattress way). It really does help keep you cool as well, which will be fantastic in the summer!

I love my Purple mattress. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they need to figure out a way to still have a successful mattress that isn't limited by what type of sheets you use or whether or not you utilize other items such as heated mattress pads. Limiting customers' options is not the best way to integrate your product into their lives.

My husband decided to purchase this mattress because he has a lot of trouble sleeping comfortably through the night. With back, neck and shoulder pain issues, it's often difficult to get to sleep and stay asleep all night long. Since he has been sleeping on the Purple mattress, his ability to get to sleep and not be awakened by every change in position has improved tremendously. We're both happy about this purchase and would certainly consider buying another Purple mattress in the future - for me!

The mattress is lovely and well-made, but I found it's a little on the firm side for me. I'm a side-sleeper with wider hips and shoulders. The mattress actually felt great on my hips, but didn't have quite enough give under my shoulders. My husband, also a side sleeper, felt the same way. We returned the mattress after sleeping on it for three weeks. Customer service was superb, exceptionally helpful and efficient.

The mattress is perfect for any sleeper style. No matter how I turn, it's the same level of firmness. The best mattress is the one you don't notice.... We bought the power base as well (split king). I really enjoy being able to sit up and read, the massage feature when relaxing before bed, and the zero gravity position for sleeping on my back (you just fit into the contours so snuggly it's relaxing!). I would definitely recommend trying it out. We've been very pleased!

I first bought another mattress from another online company (because it was a couple hundred cheaper) and it was a nightmare! It was over a month, and I still hadn't received anything - not even sheets! Switched to Purple and it was night and day! Customer service is top notch! AND I received my mattress within 2 weeks, as promised! Definitely worth every penny!! From the customer service, to good, quality sleep - you won't regret getting a Purple!

I am happy with my Purple mattress. It's been comfortable for me being a stomach sleeper. On my old pillow top mattress I would wake up with lower back pain. I haven't had any pain with this mattress. I have also had no issue with any powder being on my body or clothes. I know some reviews out there question the powder, but I haven't had any issues at all with that.

I've been sleeping on a futon since I moved into my apartment for 6 months, and it was awkwardly uncomfortable. the first night I slept in the purple bed was painfully comfortable, because my body was used to a uncomfortable bed, but now it's relaxing comforting and enjoyable

We purchased a king size Purple Mattress 9.5 months ago, and it has started to develop body indentions already. We have had various kinds of foam mattresses for the last 30 years, and they have all developed the body indentions, but the Purple Mattress has done so the quickest of all the foam mattresses we have owned. We were hoping it would not do like the other mattress we have owned based on the "scientific claims" the company made, but it has been an expensive lesson. As the saying goes: "live and learn".
