We didn't really have a problem with our old bed, it was just getting old and time to change. I liked it soft and my husband likes it firm. Our last bed was more on the soft side with a pillow top, I like that sinking in feeling. We decided to give purple a try since it was such a good price and it came with the guarantee. We love it. I am a bit of an insomniac and I sleep so amazing on it! My husband who is the firm one loves it too. I was worried that it would get hot like those microfiber beds but it is actually cooler then the pillow top bed we had before. The only thing I don't like about it is that I don't get that sinking in feeling since only your pressure points sink down and the rest stays on top of the matteress. I do sleep better, no neck pain since getting it, but I just miss that sinking in feeling, so I surround myself with pillows instead...same thing. We love it! We will be loyal customers to this company for years to come!

I have tried many mattresses over my 52 years and being in construction, my back is in bad shape. I could never get a good night sleep until now. We're love our purple! We tried another bed on a box first and it was too firm for us but I was concerned about it the feel of the purple would be. We got the original, it is heaven. I also want to give a shout out to their customer service department. We did an exchange because though we loved the mattress we didn't love the split king. The process could not have been simpler and the difference in price was refunded immediately after we showed proof of donation. We have really had an amazing experience. I haven't had sleep this good in years, and I know it will hold up because my mother in law has been using one for 8 years and it's still going strong. Honestly we spent WAY too much time reading every possible review and watching a ton of videos comparing different mattresses. We should have gone with the purple from the beginning.

They were kind enough to send me a replacement but I don't know if I can trust foam mattresses anymore. They all seem to dip 1-2 years in. I guess that's why Purple decided to release a new mattress with springs because they last much longer. However I do really like how cool it sleeps so it's hard for me to get most other mattresses.

I'm a truck driver and I bought this mattress for my truck. I was having back pain from sleeping on a regular mattress and then tried memory foam. After sleeping on the purple mattress I have no back pain and sleep great every night. Highly recommend a purple mattress to anyone thinking of making the switch.

I tried this bed in a local store. Of course, it was WAY softer because a million people layed on it before I got there. The bed I got is really not what I was expecting. While it does not cause me pain, I do not find it comfortable and I wake up super early in the morning, tossing and turning. Purple has offered to exchange it, but I'm really reluctant to try (another) bed without having any idea how it will feel, especially at a significant price increase. Overall, I'm just super sad that I can't walk into a bed store and find a comfortable bed, anymore. I'm definitely going to need to return this bed. It is not a long term option for me.

I was super excited about getting my Purple mattress. I had done months of research and was certain this would be the perfect bed. We bought this mattress after having a Tempurpedic. My husband is an orthopedic surgeon and thought this would be a good choice. We have had it for 3 years and my husband is very uncomfortable. I lay down on his side to see what was bothering him and there's a huge dip on his side. He weighs 200lbs, which isn't heavy. I don't feel like this should be happening!
