I have some kinks in my back to be fair and one of my frustrations with my last mattress (Latex, organic, hypoallergenic) was that after a very short time the support was just not there. I am not small but I am not huge. I weigh 215 pounds. This mattress was great for a couple weeks but I am already noticing sag in the middle. One of the reasons I purchased this mattress was that it has a strong tendency to rebound but the cost is not worth it. All the hype, all the marketing, all the gimmicks, nothing special. There is good movement isolation. Even the supportiveness and firmness were nice at first (although I would have liked a bit softer) but again after a month the support starts deteriorating. Not impressed, this is not a bad product I just don't recommend this product for the price.

I have only had the mattress for a week so far, but I have really noticed a difference in how quickly I fall asleep and the amount of time I am able to stay asleep. It is not a perfect fix yet, but the difference from my previous mattress is above and beyond what I expected!

We have had the bed for 2-3 weeks now and we are really enjoying it. It definitely took me some time to adjust to it. The first night was a little rough. After that it was okay. But maybe 5-7 days in and my back is feeling good and sleeping great. Wife only had 2-3 days adjustment. Wife is a side sleeper and this is great for those hip and shoulder pressure points. Was a little disappointed at first because I thought it would be amazing right away (rather than taking some time), but we do love it and are glad we purchased.

Not very happy with how this bed turned out for me and my wife, she hardly ever sleeps on it definitely went the wrong route. It's not even a California king size bed, I bought the recommended bed springs for it and it's solid as a rock I even put it on the floor hoping it would make a difference, unfortunately it's still the same, I would really like to call so I can return the bed only because at this point in time I'm going to have to look into getting a new bed once again for me and my wife. The bed is a really good quality bed, but it just doesn't fit our sleeping needs and for that reason, I should be calling today or tommorow so we can to see what we can do for this bed, When I first got the bed I was very excited , Ieven tried the raw egg test everything checked out, only that the lower back pain in our backs hasen't seem to have gone away after our new bed, I'm hoping you can understand that we gave it a shot but the size of the bed doesn't fit our body size,Ive had a therapeutic bed before cali king since and it was way bigger, because my waive and I could fit our son on it no problem in the bed I received from purple we just don't fit, to who ever is reading this please, understand that I have given it a shot but it just won't be somewhere I'll be getting a bed from again any time soon thank you . I have had this mattress a few weeks now and even with all the things purple promises I still sleep horrible even on this new mattress. I wake up in pain every day. It's comfortable to sit or lay on your stomach on but side sleepers beware, this bed hurts to sleep on.

I love my original purple mattress. I sleep cool no matter how wrapped up I am in my comforter. The feel is truly unique so remember to have an open mind about these products. I do wish that Purple was more forward about upcoming products. A week after I received my mattress, the second version of the mattress was released. A small pop up at checkout about a new product coming out would be appreciated. Had I known, I would've waited and done some research on the new product. At this point it's not worth returning and re-purchasing the new version because I am very satisfied with my purchase. Shipping was quick, updates on my order were prompt. I liked that they send you a "how to" video on how to set up the bed and the steps to unpackaging. I did have a question for your customer service and the response was respectfully quick. Still waiting on my pillow to arrive but the original Purple mattress is fantastic!

We ordered the queen sized mattress. Going from a King to a queen sounds good in theory to save a little bit of money but if I could go back I would definitely order the King size. The first night on the Purple mattress was great for me because I woke up with no pain in my hips. For my husband who has a back fusion had the worst night of sleep of his life. We previously had a pretty soft mattress so moving to this more firm mattress seemed to be a shock to his body. It also took me a while to realize that I needed a fuller pillow. I usually prefer one that is pretty flat but with this mattress, a full one really does the trick. I am a side and back sleeper. Overall my sleep has improved because of the fact that I don't have pressure point pain any longer. My husband has good and bad nights. I would still recommend the Purple mattress to anyone who wakes up with pain.

While we purchased the mattress, and the frame and everything to go with it all in one go, the estimated times on the items was a little misleading. According to the expected prep times, I was expecting the mattress being one of the last items received. Instead, we received it first, and waiting on the platform base at least to set it up. That being said, I don't have anything bad to say for the mattress at all. Since having it set up, it's improved our quality of sleep quite measurably. The top is soft and squishy, yet breathable (specifically with the Purple mattress protector and sheets). It offers plenty of support, and we've had no issues so far!

I have nerve damage from my hips to my knees and had spine surgery a few years ago. I have bought 3 mattresses in the last 2 years. I ice, I do physical therapy, I have meds for pain but the biggest difference? The magic that has literally changed my life for the better almost over night has been sleeping on the purple mattress. Gone is my hip pain from always having to sleep on my side on mattresses that pinch pressure points. Gone is shoulder pain for the same reason. This has been the best sleep of my life. I also purchased a seat pad for my office chair. I would rate these products 11 out of 10. I only wish I had seen the funny ads before I did and looked into the Purple mattress earlier.

We have been sleeping on our new Purple mattress for about 60 days now and this has been the best, most comfortable sleep I have ever had. I no longer have any shoulder pain or numbness in my arms and hands in the middle of the night. No tossing and turning all night long!! It took about 5 days to get used to the new mattress and after that it has been nothing short of amazing. I have spent a couple of nights in a hotel room since getting our Purple mattress and my body definitely notices a difference. I can't wait to get back home and sleep on my Purple mattress.
