Our experience with getting and sleeping on a Purple mattress has been really positive. The shipping was easy, and came exactly when they said it would. The slipcase that the mattress is in was easily portable (thanks for those handles), and unrolling it was simple. So far, sleeping on it has been great! If I had one complaint, its that the top sheet is way too elastic-y and stretchy. Great quality for a fitted sheet, but an annoying one for a top-sheet. Everything else is awesome!

So by switching to purple I have better sleep. However, idk if this is a defect mattress or that's just how it is. Ive been using this for a month now, it was great at first. But now my weight is not evenly distributed. I always sink to the right side.

I weigh 135 pounds so I thought it would be enough that the Purple isn't rock hard like some readers' comments. I am one of those sleepers who has THREE favorite positions and whichever position I fall asleep in is the one I awaken in the morning. I sleep flat on my back or on my stomach most of the time and the Purple is totally perfect for either one of those positions. However, I also sometimes sleep on my right side - and when I do, my right shoulder aches the entire next day. Miserable. Not miserable enough to trade it in just yet though because it is so perfect for my back and stomach sleeping Talked to a super nice customer service rep tonight. I must say that every single time I have spoken to Purple, their customer service totally rocks. Thank you Purple.

I bought Purple-totally PUMPED because of the egg test, enthusiasm and sassy advertising. Slept great for about 6 months then the sag started. Cal king both sides. Our frame has like 6 legs and a grid support, so it's not the frame. I called sent some photos and they sent me a new mattress quickly and with no hassle. It's been about 6 months now and the sag is back. We've rotated the bed and it's just awkward now. Our sheets are plenty stretchy and our mattress protector is plenty big. I'm experiencing excruciating lower back pain and at this point I would love my money back. This mattress is just not for me. I haven't bothered to call customer service again because I highly doubt they'll send me a third mattress (which I don't want) and I know they won't give me my money back. I'm a stomach sleeper and my quality of sleep is horrific these days. I gave two stars instead of one because I really do think it's a great company and innovative product, but for me it's just not working out :(

My partner and I travel a lot for work and pleasure. We sleep on lots of different beds and our Purple bed makes us long for home. 2 or 3 days away from the purple bed and backs are aching. Purple bed sleep is amazing, no pressure points and sleeps cool.

When shopping for a new mattress I thought I was going to have to spend at least $5,000. I held my breath and took a chance and ordered a Purple mattress. I could not be more pleased. It is comfortable and I don't have the aches and pains I had with my old mattress. I highly recommend Purple!

After seeing great reviews for the Purple mattress (and watching their witty video) I decided to test their mattress to see how it compares to my current Sleep Number mattress. I have chronic back pain issues and realize that while a mattress is not the cause of my pain, the right mattress can either ease or it can magnify the pain. While the Purple mattress is very comfortable, unfortunately I have experienced increased shoulder and hip pain. After trying the mattress for several weeks and continuing to see this same discomfort, I will need to return the mattress. Could you please instruct me on how to do this.

First off... This thing is heavy and definitely a two man operation to setup. Secondly... A deceptively incredible mattress. Believe it or not when you sit or lay on a purple mattress for the first time or the 100th you don't "feel" the plush luxury of a 3k mattress (I know... I own one). Rather you perceive this mattress to be a well made medium firm to firm mattress (and not one that will contour to your body like memory foam). So your thinking support, but not plush comfort. WELL let me tell you that's not the case. The best way for me to describe it thru time. What I mean specifically is when your laying in a certain position for an extended period of time your becomes uncomfortable (on most mattresses) and the natural reflex is to move or shift to regain comfort. Myself or my wife have not had that issue once since owning this mattress. Whatever position you lay in and no matter how you lay your comfortable... period. To be more specific I don't experience any stress or fatigue on any of my body parts which to me is ultimate comfort.

This is the Purple 4 mattress. Has anyone else experienced this? Essentially all 4 hard foam edges of the mattress are taller than the actual square purple grid material in the middle. So the entire thing slants inward from all sides. I find myself rolling to the center every night and its very annoying. It is not my bed or box spring. This same thing happens if I sleep on any side of the mattress and you can see the height difference from all sides and angles. Just to make sure, I laid the mattress on my hard wood floor (without any sheets on it) and you can see that the mattress just simply doesn't lay flat. It has a concave shape from all sides; like a spoon. I also use the Purple sheets so its not the sheets that are somehow not allowing the mattress to lay flat when its on the bed. I have had the mattress for almost a year so it has had plenty of time to adjust from being shrink wrapped - which I also find weird they would do this with a mattress that has springs in it. It seems like the middle portion is too heavy and doesn't have enough support from the bottom - if I take my hand and push up from the underside of the mattress, I can level it out with the sides. The mattress is comfortable and I like the feel of it but it simply doesn't lay flat and I would assume its only going to get worse over time! Maybe mine is just defective??

It did take a while to get used to the Texture and Firmness but after about 2 weeks the aches and pains from too soft and a bad shaped Bed went away. Not bouncy or cuddly but you can add a Tick for the extra layer to help make it more comfortable and cozy. Very pleased with the Value and over all change to a new bed.
