Wow. Took a bit to reset our backs. I sleep on all sides, and just.. wow. I'm a very light sleeper and I probably wake up half as much. Feel more rested. I am also infatuated with the color purple, and we recently received the sheets. Perfect color, perfect material. All around we are very happy.

For those that wonder, our mattress passed the raw egg test! By the same token, if it can do that for a raw egg, it can (and does) do the same for my shoulder joint. I'm a side sleeper, and I used to wake up every morning with my shoulder in agony from being pressed into the mattress overnight. My hips would also sometimes feel this way, but not as badly. Since getting the Purple, I now sleep so soundly, and pain free, and wake up pain free as well. When on my side it's as if my shoulder has a bottomless cradle to rest in while the rest of my body is floated on the surface. I can't explain how this is possible, but it just works! My wife has suffered work related spinal injuries in her low back (bulging and herniated discs) as well as whiplash in her cervical and thoracic areas from a car wreck. She was in near constant pain all day, and it was aggravated by our old mattress (which was actually purchased to HELP with this). The Purple mattress has finally provided relief for this. Through the day, she will still feel pain, but not as badly, and at night while resting, she is relieved, and also wakes up pain free. As far as cool sleeping, we have not noticed a big difference from our old mattress. This could be due to us having the same mattress protector on it as before, which makes it nearly waterproof on the surface. So I have no doubt this is contributing to it being rather warm as opposed to a "cool" sleep. I am glad for this, however, since I'd rather be warm and cozy instead of uncomfortably cold. We have had our Purple for about two months and can safely say we love this mattress! We knew after the first night that we would NOT be returning it!

This may be a bit of a hefty post but hopefully it will help some of you out there as well as Purple in continuing to improve their products. First off I'm about 140 lbs, pretty thin; and I am pretty much exclusively a side sleeper. I prefer a softer bed, although I haven't really done any extensive studies of different bed firmness. I think due to my side sleeping I expected this bed to work really well for me because I imagined if I was sleeping on my arm that it would kind of dig into the Polymer while the rest of my weight was supported. So my arm wouldn't go numb, and at the same time due to it's design I wouldn't be super hot. I basically expected it to be a cloud of awesome. I purchased the new Purple 3 Mattress about a month ago. Initially I noticed it actually felt firmer than my old bed (my old bed was just average I would say, nothing too fancy) which kind of took me off guard. I was expecting it to be softer and really cradle me like I was sleeping in a cloud. I did notice the Hyper-Elastic Polymer when I was sitting on the bed or sitting up, but when my weight was distributed it just felt harder than my old bed. I didn't keep count of how many times my arm went numb, but I do feel it happened a bit more with this bed versus my old bed. If I was a bit heavier (perhaps 160-170lbs?) I think it would have really cradled me a lot better, but for me it felt like I was just sleeping on a flat board. In my personal opinion, I would be very interested if the Hyper-Elastic Polymer on the bed was just a bit more firm than the pillow is. Before the bed arrived I laid on the pillow and I thought, "If this is what it's like and it still keeps me cool it's going to be great." So maybe that's something they might look in to in the future. Like having different consistencies of polymer vs just 2, 3 or 4 inches of the same consistency. I would probably be willing to give it another chance if that was the case. As far as temperature goes I did feel that it slept a cooler because I was able to up my AC a bit and wake up really comfortable as far as temperature is concerned. I'm rating this three stars as it seemed like a pretty average bed to me. This doesn't take into account the price. For me it wasn't worth the price when my bed isn't super old, and I didn't really notice a difference. The rating also doesn't take into account their customer service because I wanted to make this just about the bed itself.

I bought this bed about a year ago because I was having lower back pain from a saggy mattress. For the first 3 months this bed was great and had alieviated my low back pain. After about another month after that everything changed. Now it has been a year and I am incredibly unhappy with this bed. I toss and turn all night long. I wake up with the circulation in my arms cut off multiple times a night, and in the morning my neck, clavicles, shoulders, and upper back are stiff and sore. I have never slept worse in my life and now will have to invest in a new bed, after spending more than I ever have on this mattress. DO NOT BUY THIS BED! Try ANY other bed that has a year long trial period, as many of them on the market now have. The 3 month trial is a scam and you will end up wasting your money.

After my body getting use to the mattress(it hugs you) it's like sleeping in heaven. I dread sleeping in hotel beds because I know they are spring mattress and not my purple I have and will still recommend purple mattresses and seat cushions to whoever I possibly can! I even put one in my work truck

I have had the PURPLE for just a little over a month...and I am definitely sleeping better than I have in a long time. I tried the memory foam, didn't like how I could not get out of bed, felt like I was sinking in quicksand...not so with the PURPLE.... firm yet soft enough to move in and out of without disturbing the wife. Great job Tony and Terry...keep up the good work.

Our family has purchased 3 (three) purple mattresses. All queen size. I have also told people i work with about the beds and they also have purchased. Theirs was a king size. We are considering the pillows that just came out. We absolutely enjoy our purples. They may seem a little high in price, but once you receive it you will understand paying the price. Well worth it. We suffer from back pain and neck pain etc. Have had numerous surgeries and this mattress really makes you feel less pain and enjoy your sleep more. We will continue to tell people about Purple. First of all we got the mattress over a week early than expected, the delivery service they chose to give their mattress to was amazing and called us to let us know they could bring it early. My husband and I ordered the original 2 king size mattress, the base for it and got the sheets for free. The mattress is HEAVY but it was fun watching it expand after we removed the plastic. After it was all set up and done expanding we laid on it for about 30 minutes and it was so comfortable we wanted to go to sleep during the day .. It felt like it set my back right it was weird. We just woke up from sleeping on it all night and I have zero complaints. It was so comfy that I laid in one position all night and my husband said I was snoring.. I never snore. From laying in one position when I woke up in the morning before I got up my back was kind of sore (that's from laying in one position and I have fibromyalgia) and I rolled over on my back and felt like the bed set it right again. Me, my husband and my 4 year old daughter feel well rested this morning. I think I'm in love with this bed. ❤☺

I needed a platform for my foam mattress, and after reading a lot of reviews, I went with the purple platform since it guaranteed to be silent and sturdy. It was super easy to open and assemble, it will be easy if and when we move. It is almost silent except for an occasional "tink" sound it makes on my husband's side, which drives him crazy because it is otherwise silent. It is even silent during amorous activities... We are very happy with this purchase, it was inexpensive and it really offers a sturdy support. It isn't much to look at, but I put a bed skirt on and it is just like any other foundation. I would recommend this platform to anyone. It is so much easier than a traditional foundation and box spring, not to mention a heck of a lot cheaper. I will look to purchase from purple in the future for sure!

we had been sleeping on a too-soft, too-small mattress for the past uear, only because wed just bought it the year before. but finally, we bit the bullet and bought a purple. its such a relief to sleep on a mattress that is big enough, and firm enough.
