I think this mattress would work great for anyone who likes sleeping on their back. The support is perfect, the bed sleeps cool, and the material reacts instantly to changes in your sleeping position. However, as someone who likes to sleep on my stomach, and who is also pretty lightweight/bony, I definitely feel the gel material in an uncomfortable way. I also like to sleep without a pillow, with my face on the mattress, and the top gel material makes this position pretty uncomfortable for me.

We took the plunge with the King Size Purple, and went all out with the Pillow, Bed Sheets, Mattress cover, and Platform Base. So far has been well worth the investment. I use to wake up every morning like a Rice Crispy, with a Snap Crackle Pop, but since the first night to present with the purple, no more Rice Crispy. Temperately it is very cool, so cool in fact my wife bought an electric blanket for those cold winter nights, because it does such a good job at keeping her cool. Definitely a great investment.

I've had mybPrurole mattered for two years now and I have not ever gotten tired of laying, sleeping or being on it. I've spent so much more on prior mattress for which I grew tired of and would get aches, toss and turn all night and get really hot since my body seems like a furnace but with Purple, God, it's a-friggin-may-zing! Best sleep I think I've ever had. It's like the first couple of hours of sleep you get in a five star hotel, but ALL night in your own bed! Recommend this to anyone who has trouble sleeping through the night and longs to wake up feeling refreshed. Got my youngest a Twin XL and I'm about to give my older daughter my Queen sized just so I can get myself a King!

I must admit I had a lot of trepidation about spending 1300 on a mattress . I spent the money knowing I had the satisfaction refund if it came to it but within 90 minutes of laying on the bed I knew it was money well spent. Why 90 minutes? That's about as long as I could go in one position before i started getting uncomfortable with shoulder and back pain, now I easily rest through the night. Temperpedic memmory foam was great but pushed back too hard against me making my arthritis hurt. Purple has a feeling you really do have to try to really understand. Its supportive but also adaptive and it gives where it needs to. Bottom line, this is my new bar for mattresses so far it doesn't get better than this.

It is medium/firm but has just enough give that it is very comfortable. It is also cooler than a regular mattress. Only had one month but so far it has been great- wife and I both sleep well on it. Had to wait about 2 weeks for the bed but it was worth it.

After letting the bed air out for a bit I threw some sheets on and jumped in to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised by how supportive and comfortable it was. You normally get one or the other. Having sustained some pretty serious back / Ortho injuries in my day I can say in the few weeks I've had the bed symptoms have started to subside. While its only been a few weeks I can say that I am very pleased with the craftsmanship and engineering that went in to making this bed what it is.

I bought my purple mattress after weeks of no sleep. Suffering from serious back pain after a car accident, I was desperate. Expensive yes, but, the best decision I've ever made. I can sleep with no more pain or physical therapy. No more pain medication either. Thank you Purple people!

I married my sweet husband in February...with his last name also came his mattress. He likes a firm mattress...I want to sleep on a cloud. I have been to every doctor imaginable because I have been so incredibly fatigued over the past 5 months or so. I thought it was a medical problem and was becoming frustrated because they couldn't seem to find the cause. Our Purple mattress arrived yesterday...I have never been more excited to go to bed. The mattress was so comfortable no matter what position I slept in...it just absorbed me like I love yet provided support. The ONLY thing that ached when I woke up was my neck...because I need a new pillow!! I am beyond grateful for this mattress! I woke up this morning feeling almost back to normal. (I'm still a little sleepy but compared to the last several months so much better!!) Thank you Purple people! Thank you so much for giving me back myself!!! :) Now I can actually sleep in the bed with my husband and not resort to the couch!! :) I will give another review after some time but I had to share how great it was even after one night.

I Have a twin XL basic model that I love so much I bought a queen basic model. Unfortunately the queen sleeps nothing like the twin. After a month of sleeping on the queen I filled out a survey in which I stated all of the issues it's been a week and no one has yet to actually respond so it seems not only are their beds inconsistent in quality but so is their customer service.

Mattress works fine for me as a side sleeper but for my husband he finds it too soft. He doesn't like the 'sinking' feeling. I had hoped the mattress would work for both of us. We are still only ~30 days into the 90 day trial period.. so we are still on the fence if we want to keep it or not.
