As a side sleeper I used to wake up every morning with sore shoulders and hips, it sucked. With the purple mattress there is no pain anywhere ever. I sleep with a partner and I used to wake him up alot because I was squirmy had to roll over every ten minutes to be comfortable now when I do roll over, which I do alit less of, my partner can't even feel it. There is so little motion transfer with this matress.

Coming from a sleep number bed a was excited for a middle of the road firmness. I would have to say this is much more firmer than soft. I also don't like that you can't have a waterproof mattress pad as it inhibits the top gel layer of the mattress, when you have little kids and older pets this is a nice thing to have.

I have had this bed 2 weeks. My wife was wanting a new bed. The bed is supportive. I manage an automotive store, manual labor. Since purchasing, I have noticed I wake up much less groggy getting an average of 5-1/2 hours sleep each night. I still have muscle pain and knots, but joint and back aches are all but gone. Hip joint pain is gone. the bed does seem smaller than our previous queen rated bed, I'm 6'2, but the cali king was too expensive for our budget.

The Purple mattress felt heavenly at first, but that's when it was on my floor (I was waiting for a platform base to come in). The moment it was on the base it was much firmer and far less comfortable. I don't sleep on my purple mattress every night because I get chronic aches from it. I've owned my purple mattress for over two years, and I'll alternate between it, my couch, and my guest bed. I was so hopeful it would help ease the stress on my chronic back injury, but unfortunately it was more hype than help. It's comfortable enough, but was hoping for so much more.

We ordered our purple mattress on recommendation from a family member. We are very happy with it. It is definitely a step up from our old saggy mattress. It has excellent support. I was able to get a purple mattress refurbished. It has made major changes for me with my fibromyalgia pain and fatigue. I get a really good sleep. Although my underline problem still exist this has improved the quality of life for me. Allot of my doctor's have commented about how my condition seems to be improving. We are looking into trying the new mattress with the double layer and giving our mattress to our daughter. Our outer cover seems to be snagged easily it is wearing out. Like I said ours was refurbished so I'm not as picky as I would be with a brand new one. Over all I'm very happy with the benefits of our mattress and I highly recommend it for people living with similar chronic conditions.

Got my bed back in September 2018 and fell in love. All pain immediately disappeared, we were sleeping like babies through the entirety of the nights. However, since April of 2020 I purchased a "platform bed" frame from purple for more storage and now I cannot sleep longer than 1-2 hours every night constantly waking up due to discomfort of the bed. It feels as if it no longer has the support my body needs. I'm 5"10 180 so I know I haven't really broken it down myself with a 10 year warranty. Just wish I could've had the honey moon phase longer than a year and a half.

I think the bed is too hard. I find that my arms fall asleep more than they used to on my old bed and laying on my side is hard on my shoulder. Laying on my back is better than before since I have hip pains but I prefer laying on my side. My husband loves it and has less back pains.

The overall experience with the king size purple mattress is good. We ordered the king size mattress and and it was scheduled for delivery. The frame arrived on a Tuesday as scheduled and the mattress was suppose to arrive the next day and never did. When I called Purple and told them the tracking said it was suppose to arrive, they just told me sorry. The mattress ended up arriving the next day and we have slept on it for about 2 weeks. At first, we noticed that it was a little more firm than expected, but we have adjusted and I have had some very good nights sleeping. We overall like the mattress in out short time with it, and recommend it.

I had slept on one a year ago in Petersburg. ALASKA. Remodeled a home in NC. Promised myself a Purple mattress for my birthday.. Yipee...it arrived before my birthday and I am so very pleased. Sleeping comfortably, thanks. I often sleep side, or tummy. Both are very comfortable.
