I purchased a purple mattress about two years ago. When I first got the mattress I thought there was a body adjustment period, so I wanted to be fair. After two years it's safe to say that how I feel about it now is pretty solid. The mattress is overall comfortable if you sleep on your sides or stomach, however this mattress causes immense pain for me in my lower back if I sleep on my back. Because of this I have been a side and stomach sleeper with this bed. The claims that the mattress stays cool is accurate, this bed stays refreshingly cool as long as you use the correct sheets. Flannel, cloth or anything a bit heavy is a no go if you want to remain cool. I found bamboo, and silk work best for me. I want to be honest so if someone like me ends up debating on this bed, you know what you're getting into as it is really hard to decide on something you buy on the internet. The price is pretty steep, and I hope that this bed works out for you. For me it's a comfortable sleep but annoying that it is restricted to certain positions so I have to be conscious of that even when delirious and tossing and turning. It's also aggravating to have certain types of sheets you must use to fully enjoy your very expensive mattress. Not sure if it helps but I am a heavier user, and this may be why the bed isn't as comfortable for me as it would be for someone who is a normal weight. Hope this review helps someone who might need it. No hate towards purple, I just want to be honest.

The massaging can be felt on both sides even if only one is on. you can't feel the height/lowering of each side though so that's what i care about the most, as i have acid reflux i have to elevate many times at night. there was a little nick in one of the frames but i didn't notice it right away and there's no real damage to it. i was impressed by the customer service who helped us get everything according to our needs. i would totally recommend purple to literally everyone!

This is the mattress we have been seeking. My wife and I are finally getting a great night's rest every night. It seemed a bit soft at first but it actually conforms to us very nicely and feels like we are floating in a field of comfort. We highly recommend this mattress to anyone and will likely replace our children's mattresses with this over time.

first 30 days have been pretty good. comfortable to lie down and wake up still comfortable. I have been through a lot of beds and pretty happy with this one so far. I am still very stiff when I wake up and have to stretch some to start the day. I have lower back issues that I am trying to find the bed that will work. I stay in hotels a lot and know there are beds out there that work. Just hoping this is the one for home.

After a full month of sleeping on the Purple Bed (Queen), the first time I laid on it was the day it arrived and my back ached because it knew the bed was different. It felt like it was straightening out my spine while laying on my side, and after about twenty minutes, the lower back pain disappeared entirely and has never returned. My wife, my 1-year-old daughter, and I then took a long nap on the bed the same night, and surprisingly my daughter who, would normally sweat profusely on her own toddler bed, continued to remain asleep for many hours later beside me, sweat-free, even after my wife woke up feeling refreshed and free of pain. It was amazing! After a few weeks, I've been having a lot of vivid dreams too, waking up feeling like I've slept more hours than intended, and sweating no more due to an imbalance of body heat regulation throughout the night. The Purple bed material is superbly comfortable and contours to the body perfectly every time. Unfolding the Purple bed was easy enough, the first day's results are felt overnight, and after a few weeks more your body gets so adjusted to it that the comfort level is indescribable--you'll really want to just stay on this bed all the time. If you are on the fence about Purple or even a little bit skeptical, I highly recommend you try it out and see if it fits right for you. Imagine waking up feeling better than ever, no more sweating at night, and being able to fall into deep sleep every time. You won't be disappointed, so take the plunge and become a believer!

I'm normally a side sleeper, but on most mattresses I wake up repeatedly having to turn to my other side to take the pressure off my hip & shoulder joints. Then, I wake up with aches throughout my skeletal structure and often a sore neck or back. I've been so comfortable on this Purple mattress though and have been waking up without pain and getting much, much better sleep. I'm really glad I decided to go with this mattress - it's really comfortable & really does reduce the pressure from my pressure points.

Starting from the unpackaging, the whole Purple line exceeded my expectations. It's a dream everytime i sit or lay down in it. My sheets didnt come for a few days after I got my bed so I used my regular sheets at first and the experience got a lot better once the Purple sheets arrived. For anyone writing negative reviews about the bed while they're not using the sheets you should try it with the Purple sheets.

I had a 10 year old firm mattress and thought it might be time to upgrade. I purchased a purple and was hoping to have a smooth transition. I usually sleep on my back but now I roll so much my spouse gets annoyed. My arms go to sleep and never did before. I even purchased the perfect pillow after 15 days to see if that would help. It did make things slightly better but I still spend 3 nights a week on my sofa until I can find out what to do.

We started using the purple mattress on May 1, 2019... my husband and I wanted to try it because we both suffer from back pain and I toss and turn a lot throughout the night which keeps me awake and doesn't allow me to get a fulls night sleep.. The purple mattress is soft and feels comfortable when u first lay on it but after a while I have to change positions .. if I stay in one same position too long I start aching. I'm hoping our bodies just have to adjust to it because We truly felt that this could be the one.

I had a "Total Back Reconstruction" in 2014 because of hereditary scoliosis and kyphosis (roundback) of the spine. I am now fused at every level from the pelvis through C7 in the neck attached to 5 chromium steel rods. I have perfect lordotic (neck and lower back) and kyphotic (upper back) curvature of the spine and came out of the 12 hour surgery 3 inches taller. Finally I have a mattress that completely supports my spine. I awake refreshed and ready for a full day of office responsibilities, driving errands, and help around the house. That is not the case with other mattresses that I have tried. Thank you Purple for a mattress that works with my new spine. If it is so great for a re-engineered spine, it must be great for a normal spine.
