My wife and I got our purple about a month ago and it has helped both of us fall asleep faster and have better sleep. My wife has tremendous lower back pain and now she sleeps nearly all night long when before she would toss and turn trying to get comfortable.

My husband and I got a queen size purple mattress just a few years ago, and we like it. It did take some getting used to the first week or so. I also wish it was softer, or that the gel layer was thicker. It feels a bit firm to me, maybe because Im a heavy lady? (I think since then, Purple has released some new products with thicker gel layers). Anyway, our daughter likes our bed so much, that we finally got her a Purple mattress of her own.

I definitely don't consider myself a professional mattress reviewer but i give the purple original mattress a resounding 5 stars!!! It's so comfortable!!! I weigh around 155 pounds and sleep mostly on my stomach and side and i have to say this bed provides complete comfort and support in every position. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I would probably never buy another mattress thats not a purple again!!!

No more sore shoulders and hips from side sleeping or sore knees from back sleeping! And I'm not waking up as if I just jumped in a pool like I would with some box springs and memory foams! Purple does a phenomenal job at relieving pressure points and providing support while staying cool.

After nearly a year of owning this mattress, I feel confident in adding an honest review. Every night I kick myself for not returning this thing in the first hundred days. If you are under 200 pounds this bed feels like you are laying on the ground or on a hard plastic yoga mat. The square indents in the mattress don't help with the texture at all, and I struggle to get comfortable every night. My partner who is significantly heavier than me thinks it's just fine, but definitely not a revolutionary product. For what we paid for this disappointing queen mattress, we could have gotten a beautiful king size memory foam one, and I wouldn't wake up feeling so scammed by a well marketed, trendy mattress company... What I've learned from this experience is save your money and maybe go to a bed store instead of buying a mattress online.

The mattress is great, I've never slept better. That being said it took me 3 days of dealing with what was either extraordinary incompetence or ridiculous internal bureaucracy to get Purple to lift a hold on the order. Essentially payment was rendered by myself and accepted by Purple who subsequently decided to demand I identify myself to them by photo I.D and pictures of mail i have received. This is effectively little more than extortion not to mention it go directly against the VISA vendor agreement. If they take your money and then demand you I.D don't give it to them, report it to your credit company and work your way through the customer service chain until they give up.

Previously I was sweating it out in the Texas heat on a form conforming mattress. I couldn't sleep on my side and I would wake up suddenly because of poor circulation to one of my arms. I am a natural side sleeper. And none of the foam mattresses were going to get me there. Since the purple has come to roost in our home, I sleep more deeply, when I wake up (due to my light sleeper tendencies) I can return to deep sleep immediately. I am not trapped in a pool of my own sweat. I fall asleep in any unearthly position with no apparent issues. If anything the bed masks my poor body structure to the point that leaving it reminds me that entropy is hard at work. I would live in this bed if I could. I initially purchased the twin xl Purple mattress. I liked it, but wanted a little more support. I contacted Purple, and they arranged an upgrade and exchange for a Purple Twin XL Plus instead. This is a perfect fit for me, providing the level of support I was needing. I'm happy with what I'm sure is the best mattress on the market, period!

I LOVE THIS BED! I'm a side sleeper and don't move much during the night. I was used to waking up with aches & pains in my shoulders and hips and my back would be stiff. NOT ANYMORE. I wake up feeling refreshed, like I've actually gotten a full night's rest. I don't feel tired and sluggish 3 hours after waking up. My partner sleeps every which way and says that the bed has reduced her tossing and turning. It's as if whichever position she ends up in, the mattress supports her body's choice. No more morning aches for her either! Everyone that comes to the house, we make them lay on the bed, them give a sales pitch as if we're making a commission (which, of course, we are not). Short version: with the money back guarantee, you can't go wrong! Also, purchased the mattress protector which I assume works as promised (haven't tested yet) but I believe is necessary to protect your warranty. Also, purchased the bed frame which is designed in a manner that allows for mega storage under the bed.

This mattress is amazing! Last night was our first night sleeping on it and I slept so well! My husband has problems with his back and hips and he fell right to sleep and doesn't hurt this morning. You can actually feel the coolness of the air flow. We had a memory foam before this and we will never go back. I'm so impressed with this mattress.
