Really nice bed with a balance of firm and soft. The "cool temperature" technology really works, that was the most noticeable improvement from my old bed. It's weird how much the temperature plays a role in good sleep, you don't know what you don't have until you have it.

I wanted to give myself time to adjust and give this mattress a genuine chance and I can honestly say nearly 4 months later I am so unhappy with this purchase. My husband and I share this bed. We are 150/120 pounds. The edges of the mattress are high and firm while the center dips substantially down. We have to lay dead center on it otherwise our body is at an uncomfortable angle and with two grown adults you can imagine how uncomfortable that is on top of it. It doesn't help both of our backs either, it quite amplifies the pain. I was very hopeful with the positive reviews. I had high hopes for this mattress. We have some friends that have a Purple mattress and raved about it. Sadly I haven't had a good night sleep since before I got the mattress and I paid a lot of money for it. That's what's most upsetting, to have spent as much as I did to be as unhappy with the product as I am. I'm really disappointed I spent so much money to be as uncomfortable as I am and the process to return it seems like a huge pain, so I feel like I'm stuck with a bad mattress and out a lot of money. I know Purple mattress has been great for so many but it hasn't for us. I wish I could say I love the product and am so happy with it but I'm not and I can't. I'm sorry Purple team. I was hopeful and I tried.

It took us just two nights to fall in love with this mattress. I'll admit it is short, probably shorter than you are accustomed to if you and it looks and feels a little weird when you first lay down but the sleep you'll experience is amazing. After the first night my back was a little sore from adjusting but the second night everything just worked. I have been comatose for the last week and my back has literally never felt better. I'm kicking myself now for not trying it sooner... I highly recommend this bed. My mother, sister, and aunt were all in the market for new beds laid on mine five minutes and ordered their own! I selected side, stomach, and back sleeper because in my old Serta I moved constantly at night trying to get comfortable I am now a happy side sleeper who barely moves at all. Stop thinking about it I was skeptical too; buy a purple and your back will thank you.

We bought our first (level 3) Purple mattress for our daughter who has disabilities, one being severe chemical sensitivity. We had tried various foam and other materials mattresses, looking especially for those that mentioned low off-gassing. We have left mattresses in the garage off-gassing for months, some never lost all their chemical smells. The Purple mattress was the only one that was usable within 2 weeks! So besides being the most comfortable mattress we could find, it was the least chemically offensive. We bought another with same results and the comfort of it is amazing, no 'hard spots' on the hip or shoulder like other mattresses. I also bought the frame with the 2nd one and I like that too - lots of storage space under the bed. The second bed came with a free pillow. That was so good that we ordered 2 more of those too. This is the mattress to get!

my husband and i love our new mattress. i'm a light sleeper and can honestly say i don't even get up to pee like i used to. maybe tmi...but my fellow light sleepers get it.  also, my husband doesn't wake me up getting in and out of bed anymore. the bed is noticeably cooler than our old bed, which i love, but we do need extra blankets. (i don't ever leave reviews, but this bed is the best. i haven't slept this well since getting married seven years ago.)

We've been sleeping on Purple ourselves since 2014. This mattress is absolutely fantastic and our kids are always begging us to get one for them too. Well, it's started happening and they love the mattresses (well, the ones who have them do) I gave my Purple 1 king to my 15 year old and he loves it. I upgraded our mattress to the Purple Premier 4 King. It's much softer than what we had but man, what a dream sleep. We have a portfolio of AirBNBs and have decided to standardize on these mattresses and so far, our guests are absolutely LOVING them. Actually finding our guest reviews are including statements like, "Wow! what a great place, and amazing beds! We have to find out what kind of mattresses this is." So... we're now an affiliate so our guests can purchase them and have them shipped to their own homes. Great product, great service, excellent warranty and excellent trial period. There's no mattress out there that's for everyone, but Purple really comes the closest and our guest reviews prove it!

You know all those squishy bubbles on the bottom of a bubble tea? Get about a billion of them, and pack them tightly together in a mattress and that's what sleeping on this Purple mattress feels like. It's like, firm, but heaven. I have had back pain for a long time. Part of it is due to the fact that I cannot get comfortable sleeping on my back, so I sleep on my stomach (which is also not great for your back). With my Purple mattress, I'm so comfortable that I'm able to sleep on my back (as recommended by my Chiro) and if I sleep on my stomach, there is no pain. This mattress is the best thing I've ever purchased in my entire life. 13/10

Love the grid! I've tried a bunch of new tech mattresses and this is by far my favourite! It's super firm and soft at the same time and for the first time, I wake up every morning with zero back pain or numbness in my shoulders. The only issue i have is the heat does seem to get trapped in the actual grid pockets, so patches of the bed can get quite hot in the night. But if you roll over it dissipates witching 5-10 minutes and cools down again.

If there was one thing I could change about the purple mattress it would be that I waited so long to get it. There was no adjustment period for my husband or myself and we have been sleeping like babies since we got it. Just try it, it speaks for itself.

My wife hurt her back in early 2016 and had everything done from MRI's to physical therapy and even acupuncture. She found out she had herniated two of her disks and the memory foam mattress we had did not support her back enough for her to sleep a full night and she would get up and sleep on the floor on her stomach and progressively moved to the floor all together. I didn't sleep in the same bed with my wife for 5 months. She was 6 feet away from me on the floor because of her back. Then I found Goldie Locks and her purple mattress. Ordered it on a Wednesday and it was on my porch at 8am the next day. (We live in Salt Lake and the purple factory is only 20 min by freeway.) She has been able to get up off the floor and back in bed and has been able to average 6 plus hours of sleep a night (not withstanding our 3 year old) and has been able to heal more because of it. Thank you Purple mattress for giving my wife the needed sleep and support she needed... and my sanity back. As they say Happy wife... Happy life.
