Using Purple's base with a queen size. The best mattress I've ever slept on! Is a little firm to support your body, but soft once you settle into it. Love the airflow through the mattress, I have a ceiling fan above my bed and I can feel cool air moving up through the mattress. The price vs quality is great as well compared to other more expensive options.

Overall, I have been happy with the mattress. Good support and without painful pressure points. While it is much better than my last mattress, I do wish it had a little more support or firmness for my back. I feel as if my torso does sink down further than my extremities causing some back pain on longer night sleeps.

I'm now just about 1 year into my purchase of the purple mattress. I sleep worse now then I did before on a pillow top. This mattress has failed in the center ( where my hips are positioned) and now is squishy to the point I cannot sleep unless I move to the other side. I sleep alone on one side and am glad because I thought it was just maybe me. But I found that when I moved to the other side there definatly is a integrity problem with internal support , very disappointed in this bed, I thought I had a good one for a while. This bed is no good after close to a year, it sinks and loses support now I suffer with back pain more often each night as time goes on. I Would never suggest the purple bed to anyone that isn't a child. I WISH I NEVER BOUGHT THIS BED

best bed i ever bought. with some the best sleep i had since i can remember. the product is the best and the employees are really helpful and kind. will definitely be buying more purple products in next years to come. thanks for making sleep feel better again

My husband and I have finally had it with waking up sore in the mornings from our horrible spring matress. Finally a matress that will be firm yet cushy on top and no more springs poking you. I love that it keeps us cooler too since we live in the desert and need all the coolness we can get. I also love the fact that this matress doesn't break our bank. I don't want to be in debt over a matress but I will pay for a reasonably priced matress that gives you a good night's sleep. Thanks Purple! We are satisfied customers.

I really wanted to be able to give this bed 5 stars. I realize that when you only make one mattress, you have to try to find the firmness sweet spot that suits the most people. Unfortunately, this mattress is just a little too firm for both me (~190lbs) and my wife (~100lbs). The mattress does live up to its claims of no pressure -- it's really great at getting out of the way localized pressure spots like shoulders, hips, etc, but it just doesn't feel like it's cradling the whole body. The feel is much more of sleeping on top of the mattress than settling into it at all. Still, it's pretty comfortable, and definitely stays cool. But it's just not cozy at all. We're about a month into the 100 day trial, and we're going to stick it out for a while longer to see if we adjust to it more. Here's hoping.

The first week I was very sore and did not enjoy the feel of this mattress. I pushed through & im so glad I did. After the first week, I woke up feeling like my spine had a massage through the night. I felt well rested. I don't have lower back aches like I used to. I never realized I had aches until this mattress. I thought it was "normal". My only complaint is that it is not a true king size. My feet hang off a bit when I sleep on my stomach. If it were a couple inches longer - it would be the perfect mattress!!

A little over a year ago we ordered a Purple 2 mattress and power base. The delivery delay was more horrible then the old Temper-pedic mattress we wanted to replace. We almost canceled our order. However we held on a little while longer. And we are so glad we did. Both my husband and l are in our 60's and have back, hip and shouldar joint pain. Our old Temper-pedic was just not helping either of us. It was hot - fine in winter but during a typical Texas summer nite it was like sleeping on a heating pad. The delivery and set up crew were fast, polite and efficent. Our new bed was set up and ready for a test nap within 30 minutes. The comfort was shocking and the power base made the mattress even more comfortable. Even more amazing was both of us were pretty much pain free within 7 days. In April 2019 we took a long road trip. On day 10 we decided to cut our trip short and head home. Our aches and pains were back with a vengence thanks to the hotel beds. With a few days of sleeping on our Purple2 mattress those aches and pains were gone. We like our Purple so much we are buying another one to put in our new Travel trailer. The new pillow top Serta is nice enough but no way near as comfy as the Purple...

I have owned and used the mattress and a protector since late April. The bed is comfortable and helps me get to sleep quickly, but it traps A LOT of heat (I wake up with a damp shirt every day, this has not happened before this mattress). I've tried using different blankets, leaving my feet uncovered, using almost no blankets, sleeping with no shirt, but I can't get away from the heat! Extremely comfortable when I lay down, but the trapped heat is becoming a big problem, does anybody have suggestions? I am going to continue to make changes to see if it works, I'm hoping I won't have to return this next month...

I've struggled with finding the perfect bed for many years due to lower back pain. My first night on the purple mattress was game changing. I woke up in the morning with no stiffness or sore lower back! That's NEVER happened before. I'm able to get a great nights sleep (except when awoken by my cats from time to time) and wake up rested. I have noticed I do still wake up in sweat from time to time even with the purple sheets but I'd still take that over no pain!
