I was a little skeptical to buy an out of the box mattress. I have a bad lower back and needed a good bed for our second home. My son's friend who is a military vet recommended this bed as he has a lot of physical problems and swears by this mattress so we gave it a try. I was in total shock! For the first time in a long time I slept through the night and woke up without the normal pain in my back. No need for the 100 day trial. We are considering getting another mattress for our primary home as well. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

My wife and I are different sizes. I'm 250 and she's 125. We bought the mattress mostly on the premise that it was cooling, doesn't transfer motion from each partner and has good support. For each of us, the mattress is too hard. We have stretchy sheets, but I'm afraid that it just hasn't been a great experience. Given that we spend 1/3 of our life on a mattress, that's what I'm looking for. After nearly 100 nights, we'll be returning the mattress. Thanks for the trial and making it so easy to return. Have had my Purple 3 for a month now. I used to wake up every morning with back pain. From the first night on my Purple mattress, my back pain was gone. I also love the pillow and sheets. I bought the power base as well. There is nothing I don't like about my bed. I was hesitant to spend so much, but it's definitely worth every penny. VERY HAPPY

I'm the type of person to do extensive research when I'm making big purchases. Finding a new mattress was one of those times where I wanted to make sure I was getting something that was going to be suited to my taste. What I love about Purple, aside from the brilliant advertising, is that it's totally one of a kind. I've slept on Casper, Tuft & Needle and even high-end Tempur Pedic beds and I'm not sure that Purple should be sized up next to those because it's totally a different thing. This bed is firm in places where it needs to be firm and soft in others. I weigh about 180 lb. and it seems to support my back and legs while allowing my shoulders and hips to sink into the top layer. It has a unique feel unlike any mattress I've tried before. I've been sleeping really well on it! I would imagine that if you're 250+ pounds the bed might feel "soft" for that person and if you are under 140- pounds the bed might feel firm. That's the only thing I would keep in mind. That being said, it does an incredible job of sleeping cool and keeping you supported in areas and hugging you in others. I love it!

The feel of this mattress is hard to describe. It is the softest, firm mattress I have ever felt. (I know what I said...) I have yet to find an uncomfortable position. I weigh about 145 Lbs. and I don't sink into this mattress like I expected to, but instead, I kind of float on top of it. Again, it is hard to describe...I can say I have been sleeping on this mattress every night for almost a month and I am starting to feel more refreshed in the AM. So, in conclusion: So far So good....

I have been using the pillow and mattress for less than one month, but so far have been very pleased overall. I hope the products will hold up over time as I am sleeping much better. My only complaint is with a strong smell from the pillow that has been slow to fade. I am going to try washing it to see if that resolves the issue.

I had heard about Purple from a friend, and after a solid year of terrible back pain from my mattress, I did some research and decided to splurge on a purple mattress. I was nervous of course, but after the first few minutes I knew it was the right choice. I didn't have the platform base right away and I was hoping it would make a difference because the frame I had wasn't suitable for the purple mattress without a traditional boxspring, so it wasn't great just yet. After a month, I got the base in the mail, and it was SOOO much better with the base, so if you're on the fence about getting it, you really need to, it's an incredible difference from a box spring to just the purple frame. I wish I could give this 6 stars just in the first month or so. I'm hoping the bed will stand the test of time because they are fairly expensive, but even if i'm replacing every 5 years, it's way worth it!

My daughter (14 years) suggested we try this mattress after seeing advertised on YouTube. We had just moved and were in need of mattresses. I had no reason not to try. We ordered two of them (for both of my kids). The ordering process was simple. The delivery was way faster than expected. Both of my girls LOVE their beds. My younger daughter has struggled with neck pain for over a year. She has been pain free after sleeping on this mattress and pillow for about a week. I have no complaints and would order again.

So when I first got my queen purple mattress. It had some dents on it and had to contact customer service. They asked for pictures (which I did) and they immediately sent me another mattress! All I had to do was donate the bad one to a charity. But when I got the new mattress part 2. It is a perfect balance! It gives you a "dead" feeling when you lay on it. I never need to toss and turn. With my purple pillow to go with it, I am always awake energized and ready to take on the day! Thanks Purple!

It is a surprisingly great mattress. I say surprisingly because i'd never had anything except a spring based mattress before, and i bought this at the recommendation of my co-worker, who had purchased one themselves weeks earlier. I was a bit worried it would be too soft, as i like a firmer mattress, but the purple gives amazing support and once i got used to the strange texture, i slept really well on it, and have since.
