We have tried to make this mattress work since we received it in June. Thinking I would break in. Our son has one and loves it.

Had many people say that this mattress wouldn't last long. But so far it's been holding up. It's so soft and comfy. Would recommend.

Intended to order the same mattress that we got 5 years ago (May 2020), which was 13". Not the same and am disappointed. 13" mattress vs 9" mattress.

Have these for my kids and they both sleep well. I feel the support is great for their growing bodies.

We were a little skeptical on purchasing a bed with out physically seeing it or sitting on it. It came in the mail as dis robed in other posts/videos. The bed sleeps amazingly cool! I'm a very warm sleeper and I hardly sweat in my sleep now. Really happy with the purchase and curious to see if it keeps its shape over the years. Overall, really happy with the purchase and think the hype is real over this bed.

Sleep great with no aches in the morning. Easy to move in bed, don't feel stuck. Sleeps cool. Very heavy so needed help moving it upstairs. Hopefully the weight is indication it will last longer than my Tuft and Needles which lasted only two years. It was very light by comparison.

Purple took a few nights to get used to, but now that we are, my husband and I love it! His back pain has improved, and for me, it is the best mattress to sleep on while pregnant. This is my 7th pregnancy, so I am fairly experienced when I say that. At this point in my pregnancy, I would be pulling out pillows and stuffing them under me to try and get comfortable. The purple cradles me so well, that no extra support is needed. In fact, in the past, my round-ligament pain would be so severe at night that my husband had to lift me out of bed to try and sort it out. With purple, I just turn over to the side that hurts and within seconds the pain is gone. I assume it's the softness and support of the design. In any case, it's pretty awesome!

I thought the memory foam portion of this mattress (that supports the grid) would be more firm. This bed sinks way more than I thought it would. I am not completely satisfied with this purchase. I am going to continue to try it out and hope for better results.

I used to have a soft mattress, but I just recently got married and my husband hated our bed. He always woke up restless and stiff. So when we decided to buy the purple bed, he was a little skeptical about a mattress we hadn't tried. We decided to go ahead and give it a try. We had the best sleep we'd had since we got married! Safe to say the purple mattress has been our best investment. PURPLE customer for life. Thanks again Purple.

I'm frankly very disappointed with the Purple Original, I did extensive research into multiple brands because I knew I'd be dishing out over a grand for a premium mattress. Getting the 'Original' was an obvious mistake on my part, this mattress should not be over $1000. It's weird because the majority of reviews say this is best for side sleepers, I wake up in more pain now than I did with my previous mattress. I honestly believe these mattresses are made for people above 180lbs possibly over 200lbs, these are not meant for anyone below that weight range(my husband is 200lbs, and thinks the mattress is great, I'm 160lbs). It feels like I'm laying on top of a camping mat. The mesh grid only compresses on my hips and even then the 'Original' only has 2inch of the gel grid once you get past that it's like sleeping on a board. Oh! Also, in none of the reviews online (google) did it mention that you had to buy the purple sheets in order to get the full potential of the mattress. So going onto the website was super confusing because they say that's what you had to do. But because none of the other reviews mentioned this I didn't think I needed them! Also a mistake on my part. I will be returning this item once I'm able to find an appropriate replacement. I really hope that purple donates the mattress and doesn't just take it to the dump.
