I am getting used to sleeping on this new mattress, notice improvement each night, but guys working for me say there were alot of extras they received, and at a lower price for the same king bed, I think you need to annie up the extras like the seat pads and get them in the mail to me, could really use 2 of them.

I was skeptical, but first night took away all my back pain. Woke up with no back pain, first time in over a year. I love getting into bed every night. Definitely a harder feel than any other bed I've ever slept on, but it cradles you for sure. The quality of sleep gauged by my watch shows no improvement however, still hovering around the 90% efficiency mark. I was hoping for an improved score, but a bed can't make stress go away, now can it. Only reason I didn't give a five is I can't figure out a pillow. I know they say buy theirs but it's pricey with no discounts it feels kinda like they are holding you hostage.

We desperately needed a new mattress and were overwhelmed with all of the options out there today. We did lots of research and kept reading and hearing great things about the Purple. It had all the features we were looking for and with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, we figured we'd give it a try. Within the first week we were in love and sleeping like babies and I mean that! We were constantly tossing and turning and getting hot on our old mattress but the purple keeps you comfortable, cool, and supported all night long. I've always been a side sleeper and have now found myself sleeping peacefully on my back without even realizing it! I've NEVER been able to fall asleep on my back, but the Purple provides support and cushion in all the right places. We love it and couldn't be happier. We have officially owned the purple king mattress for one month now. It is by far the best sleep I've ever had. Seriously, we even find the dog napping on our bed constantly now! I am 6 months pregnant and was having to sleep with pregnancy pillow and in pain every morning before we got this bed. My husband's back pain is gone. Now I will tell you if you are like we were the first time we laid on it, I almost felt like every area of pain I had on my body had pressure on it. But that feeling only lasted the first night. Once we woke up, it was literally like it melted away. I never feel like I'm sinking or get hot in this bed. We also purchased the platform base. It was easy to assemble and gets the job done. I enjoy all the space underneath . I have already recommended this bed to anyone and everyone who asks. Do yourself the favor and take the plunge! Two side note: unpacking the mattress is just like the videos show. As soon as we cut open the purple plastic casing, it was ready to go. But the sucker is HEAVY and you will need some assistance. Also, given how heavy it is had we had to return it...I don't know how we owuld have. But luckily I wouldn't ever give this bed back!

It's been one month and I'm still trying to get used to this different technology. I can absolutely verify that I no longer have lower back pain in the morning! The problem is my arms get numb sleeping on my sides. It was bad in beginning so I put a topper on but again with lower back pain so had to remove.

We purchased a king. I appreciate the cooler feeling. I like the firm-like original mattress, that what we have...the pillow is very nice also.. I had a 10 inch foam, and before that, i had a pillow top. We have the purple squeekless bed frame. Also, very nice. I will buy the newer version on our next purchase. I would rather sleep on my back, but i been waking up on my stomach...

I sleep so much better now with zero back pain. I also dream like crazy now. The only thing i can say is a downside is its so comfy sometimes i don't want to leave the bed. I would buy again in a heartbeat there is no other mattress i would rather buy. The pillow takes some getting used to but it's worth it.

We originally bought our purple 5 years ago. We love our mattress so much We recommend to all friends and family who replace their mattress. We recently bought a twin size for our son as he graduated out of his crib. He loves it just as much as we do. It took almost a month to get the mattress, once we ordered. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.

To be honest I expected to be sleeping more comfortably then I am. Yes my lower back pain has lessened, but I still have terrible joint pain in my hips. I have tried sleeping on my back, sides, and stomach, and still no relief. I think the grid design is a good concept in theory, but Purple has missed on the execution. I would suggest a smaller more tightly positioned grid to allow more support. Sorry to say, Purple has left me wanting better.

Strictly speaking, it's the second best, since I think waterbeds are the ultimate. But good waterbeds are hard to find and difficult to maintain, and I can't be bothered with them anymore. So this is the best practical mattress we've ever had. It has more comfort than a memory foam mattress but doesn't retain heat as much as memory foam. It doesn't stay as cool as I hoped, but it's so much better than our old memory foam mattress that I'm not going to complain, especially since the comfort and support is outstanding. All in all, it's the best. I strongly recommend this mattress.
