Initally I compared the mattress to all of the other online & store brands, but i kept on coming back to purple.. Finally i made the purchase and for the first 2 days i slept well. On the third day i woke up with some backaches. I thought it was from a hard day of work. I now have realized its because i sleep on my stomach with my hands under my head or on my side. It got so bad one night that it woke me out of my sleep and i had to sit on the couch with my feet up on the ottoman. I've read online to make sure your sheets are correct because tight sheets will hinder the mattress' capabilities. Sorry to say i have the same results. IIt's a shame because i had really high hopes for purple.

We had a Swedish sleep system for 10 years and after 10 years of pain and misery every single morning we finally saved the money to buy a new mattress. What a difference it made, no more miserable mornings trying to stretch out! Love it and thank you!!

I've tried to stick with it, but after 7 months, it's clear is NOT for anyone who needs back support or slide sleeps. I wake up with pains and soreness I didn't have with my previous (non-purple) mattress that was over 7 years old. We didn't want to waste the $ we paid, so we've purchased a topper from a competitor which makes it more comfortable and supportive. Our purple mattress is now a very expensive "box spring".

My fiance and I have had our mattress for about a year now and are in love with it still. Anytime we travel it is hard to sleep on anything else! It has helped my back issues and his joint issues immensely and everyone who comes over to check it out talks about buying one ASAP.

It does not stay cool all night which is a bummer. Once you get warm, the mattress gets warm. It is comfortable, it's taking a little getting used to. I've only slept on it for 1 week now. It has not helped my husbands back problems at all though, which was a big push for us to purchase this. I'm hoping in the next or 2 we will full adjust and I will start seeing some benefits or unfortunately we will be returning. So 4 stars is what I'm giving right now as it's only been 1 week, so once we adjust some things may get better

We were super excited to get the Purple mattress in the mail after reading all about it. Unfortunately, it felt really weird and we could feel every nook and cranny of the underlining material, kind of like a weird sponge material. We didn't like how hard it was for us to try and turn over or get up while laying down in it. Fortunately, they made the return process easy.

After about 3 weeks sleeping on the Purple, We have found that this is a GREAT mattress. My wife loved it right away and we are so glad we got this, instead of the Sleep Number 360. We have a Therapedic black with adjustable bed, and this is better than that. This is now in the spare bedroom. Like advertised, we had to adjust to the changes, but now will never give up our mattress. Even all sleeping positions are comfortable. Thank you

I was hopeful about improving my sleep with this Mattress, but after a month using it, I found that I was waking up several times in the night, then getting up in the morning with some joint discomfort. I think the mattress is just too solid for me. The soft top layer was good, but it sunk in too easily under my shoulder, then the underlying material felt too firm. I have initiated the return process, and am now trying a mattress topper on my old mattress - so far that seems better for me.

We upgraded from a queen to a king after our acquisition of two pugs. We replaced a Tempurpedic, which we bought because we were having back issues. We loved our Tempurpedic for the support. The king size version of that mattress was quite expensive, so we looked for other options. The king size Purple mattress was affordable and we had heard good things about it so we found one online. It was delivered quickly and was easy to set up. We have slept on it for over a month now and love the comfort, size and support it offers us and our pugs.

It sleeps really cool, or neutral is a better description. I'm always cold and my partner is always hot and we were both comfortable on this mattress. I've had some back issues and they were better but still an issue so we returned the mattress. I'm kicking myself, because I think if I would have given myself more time, it would have been the perfect mattress. As it stands we ended up with another brand and I'm happy with it, but as soon as I can reasonably switch to a Purple, I will.
