After having back pain for months, and wondering how I was going to make it through the day, I just took the plunge and I don't regret it one bit. I would highly recommend this product to everyone. It even came with a FREE seat cushion, which is equally great on my back and tailbone (that I injured 20 years ago). I LOVE my PURPLE mattress!!

Why I give Purple a 5 star rating but returned the twin xl mattresses? The all foam original Purple mattresses were difficult for my wife and I to adjust to having an had an innerspring mattress for years. If we could have afforded Purple's Hybrid selections, we would have definitely purchased from this awesome company. After giving the mattresses to a needy family (taking a picture and filling out the donation form), Purple immediately refunded the "entire" purchase price with absolutely NO pressure to keep the mattresses. They were very kind and helpful. You cannot go wrong dealing with a company that stands by their agreement and places the interest of their customer above their own. Thank you Purple!!

After years of using hand-me-down mattresses I finally decided to buy the purple mattress that I've been eyeballing for months. I kid you not I always spent my nights tossing and turning and never slept longer than 4 hours at a time but since I broke that mattress in I haven't woke up a single time and I've become a sleep-dropper. Literally life changing :)

Absolutely love this mattress. My wife and I decided to upgrade to a King sized bed from a Queen. She is a stomach sleeper and I'm a side sleeper. I prefer a less firm mattress and she prefers a firm mattress, we always had a hard time finding a mattress because of this; one of us was always compromising for the other's comfort. When I found Purple, I was impressed and suggested it. My wife was skeptical and we looked into lots of mattresses including many Purple competitors (Leesa, Tuft and Needle, Cloud, Nectar, etc...) and purple was the only one that seemed to be truly different. I was insistent on trying Purple and my wife decided "why not, there's a 100 night free trial". After less than two weeks of having purple in our home we knew we had found the right mattress for us. The Good: It was firmer than either of us expected, but this isn't a bad thing. The fancy purple colored grid on top (I think it's called a hyperelastic polymer) does exactly what I liked about less firm beds, it cradles my pressure points (hips, shoulders) but it does so in a way I've never experienced. This is by far the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on and it's the first mattress that my wife and I both love equally! We have ordered lots of online mattresses, some smell terrible when you first unpack them, the Purple never was bad with offgassing, there was a slight odor but nothing distracting. The construction was beautiful, I really love the fabric cover that comes with the mattress. This mattress is HEAVY. Like LEGIT heavy, I'm a 220 lb muscular man and I had to have another large muscular man help me move/set-up the mattress. You have been warned. The Bad: This isn't really "bad" but the side support leaves some to be desired. It doesn't bother me but it drives my wife nuts. When you lie on the edge of the mattress you can feel it give a little. Likewise the edge of this bed isn't really great for sitting on, but hey that's not a what a mattress is for anyways. The ****: Nothing **** about this mattress! It is beautiful. I had read stories about a white powdery substance, lawsuits, and unhappy customers. I even had worried friends contact me when we announced our intention to give Purple a go. I can honestly say that I have not experienced this issue, not even in the slightest. These claims were either isolated incidents, the mattress was abused, or the issue had been corrected. We have hard (dark wood) floors so it's not like the powdery substance would be unnoticed in carpet. There has been ZERO residue expelled by our mattress from the day we got it. Purple, thank you for making such a fantastic mattress!

This was one of the best decisions that I have made. I love sleeping on my new PURPLE Mattress and Pillow!! Easy assembly from the frame to the mattress. No complaints here!! The only question that I have is it too early to go into hibernation with it!!

What back pain???? I had my previous mattress for 7 years , it was suppose to be good till 10 but it was done. I woke up cranky and felt sleeep deprived. My fiancé and I were on the looking for months online on what to get to replace this pain cushion. We looked at all the mattresses in a box and I did not want you typical memory foam . Then I came across PURPLE. I loved the time they took to make it different from the rest and the cushion part that looks like honey combs ugghhhh those things are clouds. We bought it the next day , 2 days on laying on it and we were like we are not returning this it mine!!! I woke up with not back pain at all . I sleep through the entire night and didn't want to leave the bed. I highly recommend this for sure 100 nights free is amazing but believe me you will make your decision to keep this amazing mattress very shortly

I have wanted to buy this mattress for more than 2 years and I am so disappointed. My back hurt the first morning after waking up. By the second morning, my back, my sternum and ribs hurt so much I wanted to cry. I looked into returning it since you guys advertise "free returns" so much. Naturally, that's when I found out I have to keep this brick for 21 days before I can return it AND it looks like I'm responsible for return shipping. So I will have paid I don't know much, to be in unbearable pain for 21 days.  I do not recommend this mattress to anyone that isn't okay with sleeping on something with the firmness of the floor. Purple really should advertise how firm it is and that we are responsible for return shipping.....and that we have to wait 21 days.

We have 2 young kids that naturally always end up in bed with us during the night. We went from a queen jell infused memory foam to a Purple mattress and wow. I always complained about my shoulders hurting as were both side sleepers, add a kid or two into the mix and you've got some serious pain going on. With the Purple mattress i found the first night was weird as it's a new feeling, but after a month of sleeping on it, I won't be going back to memory foam. The pressure release is so nice. We can actually just sit in our bed and watch something if we want and not get hot and backs start hurting. The upgrade to the king was nice too, did I mention the extra space for kids yet? Oh also, we have 2 medium size dogs that are in the bed too. Needless to say our bed is packed and I've even noticed our older dog (12) enjoys laying on it more than their dog bed. The overall comfort is just something else. Before the memory foam would keep you trapped in and make a little hole you had to climb out of (or so it felt like), but with the Purple mattress, I don't want to get out of bed because I'm too comfortable, not because I'm trapped in it. All in all, we will definitely buying another Purple mattress as the kids get older, maybe it'll get them to sleep through the night in their bed!

This is the first time in my life I've spent time researching a mattress before buying it. When I decided to go with Purple, I was a little concerned because it wasn't your typical memory foam or spring mattress, but I'm so happy I made the leap. After a week of sleeping on my Purple mattress, all my pain points (hip, lower back, shoulder) are no longer problematic. It's amazing to wake up without stiff joints or hearing them crack and I start moving around in the morning. Not only that, the Purple mattress keeps me nice and cool during the night. I've already bought the pillows and can't wait for them to come in. I highly recommend!

Him: 185 pounds Her: 145 pounds Both Side Sleepers He says it is the most comfortable bed he's tried (and we've tried a few) She feels like a train ran over her every morning and has chronic back and shoulder pain now. Limbs go numb at night. Tossing and turning all night. Haven't got any good sleep this month (we've been sleeping on the Purple for 30 days) About 1 week ago we put a memory foam topper on the bed. Now He isn't getting good sleep. And She does loose circulation in limbs, but still tosses and turns and can't get a good nights rest and has chronic back and shoulder pain. So, basically, the topper just makes it so both of us aren't getting adequate rest. We're going to return and try a new mattress. We're down to the last on our list. If it doesn't work for him, but it does for her, we'll return it and order a twin purple for him and a twin of whatever works for her. :P Not ideal, but better than both getting crappy sleep.
