When I was young, my aunt made me kneel against the wall with my arms crossed when I was being bad. This was extremely frequent and I developed back problems at the age of 5 for arching my back. The purple mattress along with the royal seat cushion made all the pain go away. I wish I had another royal seat cushion though!

It's not like sleeping on a cloud. It's better. My husband likes a firm mattress, I like a little softer mattress. Sleep number, schleep number- we read so many bad reviews, it wasn't even considered an option. Enter Purple. We watched the videos, did the research, etc. Pulled the trigger and never looked back. Immediately began sleeping better, feeling more rested during the day. His neck and back pain has been lowered from a dull roar to a slight annoyance every so often. I usually sleep like a rock anyway but even I somehow sleep better. Better than a rock. So, like a dead rock, I suppose. You get the point. I completely endorse this mattress. So should you.

The mattress is comfortable but doesn't offer me any lower back support. Giving it a fair go will try it for another 20 nights, but if no inprovement I will take them up on there free 100 night free trail. Have been using for almost 30 days at this point.

The Purple is hands down, without question, the best investment I've made in the past 5 years and the best mattress my husband and I have ever owned. I've been living with neck and shoulder pain for about 10 years, since an accident that injured my shoulder. I've tried every pillow, mattress pad, bed frame, you name it. The Purple is the holy grail I've been waiting for. Between this mattress and my daily stretching and rehab, my neck pain is gone. If you're looking for musculoskeletal pain management, this mattress should be one of the tools you use for relief! It's firm but cradles your body. You don't slowing sink in throughout the night like with some of the memory foam mattresses, waking up in the night to find yourself in a crater, or unable to enjoy *ahem* time with your partner. Seriously, THANK YOU, Purple!

My husband and I have been sleeping on the Purple mattress for about six weeks. To be honest, the first three weeks or so were pure misery. We had a pillow top prior to the Purple, and obviously the Purple mattress was considerably firmer, so we both had weeks of painful sleep; Hands, hips and shoulders falling asleep and frankly terrible nights all around. I read up and know that it takes your body about a month to adjust to a new mattress so we were not too concerned. Our limbs stopped falling asleep around week four, so that was good! My neck still hurts all the time, but it has been challenging to find a pillow that fits with this mattress. My husband's back and neck still hurt when he wakes up. This mattress still is not the panacea for pain and discomfort, but we are still willing to give it a chance within the allotted test period. It does an amazing job at not transferring motion as promised, as well as does sleep very cool. Both of those claims were met, but we are still waiting for the mattress to give us a great nights sleep (which is kind of the whole point!). We shall see..........

We bought the Purple 3 a year and a half ago and received a free Purple pillow. Most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on and pillow is awesome, never wake up with a stiff or sore neck. After the year and a half the mattress started to have an indentation on one side. Called Purple customer service and they were awesome. Immediately opened a case and had us send in a picture of the issue, within 2 days received a response that the mattress will be replaced. Purple not only has the most comfortable mattress we've ever slept on, but awesome customer service and they stand by their 10 year warranty. We couldn't be happier we chose Purple to get a good night's sleep and to wake up with no aches or pains from pressure points regular mattresses give. Loyal and happy Purple customer. This purple mattress is in a league of its own. My sleep has improved significantly with less neck pain in the mornings. I can turn over without disturbing my significant other as well as getting up before her without any disturbance to her. A+ mattress.

This is our second purple mattress we have bought after we bought a bigger bed. I have had back pain for as long as I can remember and have tried everything. My experience with Purple products have been a mixed bag. First I bought the purple mattress (standard type) and I love it. It really does provide a great sleeping experience. My free gift was the old original pillow. What a joke that thing was. Weighs a ton, non-adjustable and as so many folks mentioned, there was tons of crazy white powder that no mater how many times I washed it thoroughly it still keep coming. I don't care that Purple states it not a health risk. That's what the folk at Johnson & Johnson said about baby powder! No way I am sleeping on something like that. I also purchased the sheets. They showed up with holes that continued to get worse the more as I used them. Called purple and they sent me a new pair " no issues" . The second sheets did not have holes to start but now are starting to get the weird random holes again. Oh well....time for different brand of sheets. I have also purchased the second generation of pillow (the one that un-zips on the sides). These were not even on my bed for a week. Nothing more pleasant that waking up with zipper marks in your face or neck. My advice would be to buy your mattress with Purple...(they are great) and pass on everything else.

Honestly in 30 days we have an hump in the middle . My husband is 230 I'm 130 and it stinks on our sides. We are only 60 days in. The mattress has already broke down. I was told it would last a lot longer and not take form. For 3,000 the mattress should be better.
