This was the worst purchase ever. I got the purple plus in October for my new place and started sleeping on it in February (so outside the 100day return window, my fault). Since February I've been having constant low back pain. It got so sever I had to take time off work. I spent a weekend at my parents' where I slept on a regular spring mattress and my back pain went away, I came back home and the pain came back. It's at its worst in the mornings, but sometimes it starts shortly after I go to bed. I 100% regret purchasing this mattress, it was a huge mistake and now I need to figure out how to get ride of it and get any other mattress that wouldn't cause so much pain. I hate going to bed and sometimes just prefer to sleep on the couch to avoid excessive back pain.

My boyfriend and I had a decent mattress, only 2.5 years old. But countless nights of waking up multiple times, struggling to get perfectly comfortable led us to consider other options. When we saw the FB video demos of the Purple mattress, we were intrigued. And the 100 day guarantee sold us. We've been sleeping on our new Purple mattress for over a month and it has been wonderful. We both are getting the deep sleep we need. We couldn't be happier!!

I have had my mattress for going on 30 day now. I was a skeptic, but with the 100 days risk free, I thought, why not give it a try? I have NEVER slept better in my life. I love it so much, that I ordered a seat cushion AND pillow. The Royal Seat Cushion is equally amazing. I have had lower back pain for going on 15 years. My chiro has always told me to get a new mattress (Sleep Number) however I didnt want to pay 2200 for a bed. Ever since I started with this mattress and seat cushion, My back has not hurt me ONCE. Try it for yourself!

My wife and I bought the bed because we were sleeping on a taco shaped semi comfy bed. I saw a commercial on YouTube and laughed. I went out on a limb without much research and bought it because of the stately net surrounding the 100 night return policy. We bought the queen and two pillows. The bed is as advertised in the sense of support yet cradling. If you're a side sleeper or big **** back sleeper, this bed is for you. I love the pillow and my wife didn't like hers. She just puts another pillow over top since she used to sleep with two pillows anyway. I sleep with just my pillow and I love it.

This is probably going to be the longest review Purple has ever received, but I want to start from the beginning with my experience because I relied heavily on the reviews of other people before making the "life-choice" of what mattress to purchase. I knew what I wanted in a mattress; support for my lower back and to never experience "the dip" - which so commonly occurs with every single mattress out there - ever again. I had a memory foam mattress before I bought my Purple mattress. On a day-to-day basis, I do not have any back pain. I only had lower back pain in the morning so long as I was in bed for longer than 6 hours, which would slowly dissipate the more I got up and started to move around. Before my memory foam mattress, I had a typical 'spring' mattress. I bought the memory foam mattress because I thought it was what I needed to help with my lower back pain that I had from the spring mattress. Since that mattress was a hand-me-down, it goes without saying that 'the dip' was deep enough to lose a whole body! So, in short, I've had lower back pain for around 10 years now, all from a mattress. I was ready to take the step and spend my beloved, hard-earned money on a new mattress, but which one?! My parents have a Sleep Number and they hate it, I didn't want another memory foam mattress, I was steering VERY clear of a spring mattress, which then led me right to Purple. As I said before, I read review after review. The final review I read is what 'sold' me. A Veteran who had seen and done it all for the love of his country (Thank you for your service) had MANY body aches, as I am sure you can imagine. He talked about having back pain and how, on the very first night, he woke up the next morning with no pain. "WOW! It's a "magic mattress"!", I thought. He also stated in his review that he bought the whole kit-n-kaboodle; the pillow, the sheets, the mattress protector, and of course, the mattress. I, however, only bought the mattress and the sheets - which are the most amazing bed sheets I've ever owned. Amongst my research, I saw a few reviews that said that it could take a few nights, weeks or even months for your body to get used to the mattress. Ok, makes sense. So, here I go...I make "the purchase", I do some hard core Fed Ex stalking and then ALAS! It's finally here! (side note: I read reviews that warned that this mattress was heavy and that you need two people to move this. Me, being stubborn and very independent, laughed at the warnings. I am here to tell you, this sucker is HEAVY! You most certainly need two people.) Fast forward a month and a half, I still wake up with back pain every morning however, it's not as bad. It's very disheartening spending such a large sum of money (to me, this is a large sum) to not have "the magic" work. Yes, I know, this isn't a magical mattress, but I at least expected to sleep in bed longer than 6 hours at a time. I told everyone I know about this mattress because I was SO excited. Since it's been a month and a half, they're now asking me how I like it. Here's the truth, I don't know! When I lay down at night, I love it. When I wake up in the morning, I am disappointed. Someone said, "maybe it's your pillow". So, my next step is to purchase their original Purple Pillow and hope for the best. Due to just buying a house and buying a mattress, the funds aren't readily available to do so for a while yet. I know the mattress comes with a 100 night trial period, but I honestly don't want to get rid of it because what am I going to purchase instead? (see aforementioned stipulations above) Time will tell, I suppose. Until then, sleep well my friends!

Coming from someone who trains horses for a living and can safely say that my back ..... Always hurts... I love this mattress! I'm pretty sure my back hurt the first 3 nights because I insisted on taking our old mattress off the bed and dragging our new Purple matters through the house by myself. But after that little adjustment period, I can't say that I've ever slept better! It's not hot like other memory foam mattress I've slept on in the past. My boyfriend loves it!

My wife and I found this mattress just ok. It was too firm for us. We are both side sleepers and had shoulder and hip pain even after a month. I really liked how cooling the gel was. You could almost feel the heat being pulled from your body. My wife is always cold so that was another big strike against it. A very nit-picky complaint is the wavy pattern on the cover is intense and you can feel it really well under the sheets. I also wish there was some cording or other support for the edge. The edges are sorta saggy and you can't get that crisp sheet look.

We have been sleeping on our purple bed for 2 months now and really like it. I was waking up with back and hip discomfort prior to sleeping on this bed and I no longer am experiencing this. We also have the mattress protector and very recently got the purple sheets. I do believe these to bring out the best in the bed and we love the feel of the sheets. They are not cold when climbing in like other sheets in the winter time.

This is by no means a miracle mattress in the sense that you will instantly fall asleep the minute you touch it. It took me a month to get adjusted to it. Nonetheless, this mattress is the sleeper's friend. It's both soft and firm. Definitely a mattress for the long haul.

This is hands down the best bed I have ever slept on. I have never been a good sleeper and with this mattress I sleep so much better. My back feels a lot better now than it did on our old mattress too! I am an all sides sleeper and I love this mattress.
