For five years now, I have been sleeping on the same foam mattress. I decided to purchase a Purple mattress after experiencing back pain and waking up with my shoulders hurting. The first few nights sleeping on it took some getting used to. I'm sensitive to texture, so feeling the grid of squares underneath me while I toss and turn is still a bit strange. I used an extra comforter on the mattress as a sort of pillow top and that has helped me feel better about it. Compared to a foam mattress, the Purple mattress feels more bouncy. After sleeping on it for about 3 weeks now, my back and shoulders don't hurt anymore at all. I have had my friends try the mattress as well. My heavier friends thought it was perfect, but my smaller friend found it a bit too firm for her liking. So it really depends on personal preference and body. I believed the mattress was a bit firm at first, but after sleeping on it I found that my back feels well supported in every position. Adjustment takes a while. Apart from still getting used to the texture of the Purple grid, I like the mattress.

I really like the mattress but it took a while to get here. I expected it before friends were staying over during the holidays but we didn't get it in time. Plus, the sheets are purple, not the white that we ordered so my 17 yr old son refused to use them in his room. I never called Purple about it because I'm a single mom with too much on her plate to remember and too much spam to sort through to find the order information. I'm certain that I would not have ordered purple sheets for his room. The sheets don't match my room either, but I love the mattress!!!

I have been sleeping on the Purple mattress for three months and it's a huge improvement from my sagging innerspring mattress. The only thing I don't like is the need for stretchy sheets. The mattress does have more sink-in with the stretchy sheets, but the sheets themselves are too slippery and not that comfortable. Plus now I have a lot of sheets I don't need.

I ordered the queen size mattress and I must say I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I didn't really want to go to a mattress store for fear of the sales people being able to take advantage of my lack of knowledge on the subject. So, between the clever raw egg advertisement, a few of what I thought, honest reviews on You Tube and the Sleepopolis web site review, I bought the mattress. I obviously can't rate the ten year guarantee on it for only owning it for a little over a month but I find it extremely comfortable and hope it lasts longer than ten years. I also never did the special sheets they suggest and found that never had an impact on the mattress. I would definitely buy another one when the time comes and I need another one. The site was easy to navigate and no issues with the delivery or opening the mattress from the tube shape that it comes delivered as. Over all it was all good.

We got this mattress for our guest bed (and also the bed I sleep in if my husband is snoring). It arrived on time and was easy to set up. I like the level of firmness and also how it seems to conform to your body. My parents have been staying with us and my dad absolutely loves the mattress! I'll have to get him one for Christmas next year! There was a slight smell to the mattress at first, but it's gone now.

This mattress is way to thin especially on the sides where the bed collapses. I'm only 170 pounds and I don't think there is enough structure on the edges of the bed. It's isn't overly comfortable, but it is supportive. I think the more expensive model would have been a much better choice. This 10 inch thick mattress is way to low for a platform bed both practically and aesthetically. First two nights on the bed was not good at all, but the mattress did get better with time. I am returning this and will be getting a different brand. Overall not bad, just not for me. I sleep on back stomach and side.

I am genuinely happy for those people had posted reviews claiming they had their best night's sleep ever. Points for the improved back support but there are still way too many pressure points and not that much of an improvement on my previous bedding. The quality of my sleep hasn't improved much. I'll be contacting Purple soon for a return.

Everything including ordering, shipping, set up, etc went as well as it could have I feel. I loved this mattress once I got used to it. We have a king. It took a little while to get used to the feel and I was a bit pessimistic that I would ever get used to it because it was so different from what we had before - but once I did I slept great! I suffer from back pain (ruptured disc 20 yrs ago that still flares up) After months went by (after the 100 night trial period - before a year) my side began to develop a dip. I am 195 lbs while my wife is around 100 I think. Her side was still good to go so we spun the mattress around and I was back to good sleep while she was fine with it as she can sleep on anything. Months went by - and my new side began to develop the same dip. We then even spun it around 90 degrees and even though our feet hung off of the end - we slept better. We are now on the last of the (4) options to spin it and in search of something else. I think we bought it about 18 months ago. The cost was such that I didn't expect it to last more than a few years - and unfortunately I was right.

My fiancee and I bought the purple mattress because our old mattress was getting up there in years and was beginning to hurt our backs. My fiancee also has multiple problems with her shoulder because of a car accident. Since getting the purple mattress my back pain is gone and her back and shoulder pain is much improved. She's no longer stuck on the couch due to an uncomfortable mattress. At first the purple mattress felt a little warmer than our traditional coil mattress but then our bodies adjusted to it and we no longer notice it. Sometimes I will lay on the mattress and actually feel my back pop in relief. We're thrilled with our purple mattress.

Alright here is the thing this the mattress is amazing, the platform base is perfect, as far as the mattress protector I would love to say it is exactly what I wanted, sadly I received the King size and I have the Queen size mattress. So here is where I have the issue I have called customer care several times and I have not been helped in anyway. I would think if someone is willing to spend a good amount of money with a company the company would be willing to assist their customer. So I will say that I would recommend the mattress, I can only say I hope that you wont have to deal with the customer service department.
