Don't get me wrong. This bed is much more comfortable when on my back or side than any mattress I've had. However, I sleep on my stomach almost every time I sleep, and the mattress feels... normal when I sleep on my stomach. If you sleep on your side or back, I'm sure you'll feel a difference with this mattress, but if you sleep on your stomach, the benefits seem to be minimized.

I really enjoy the Purple mattress, I wish I could afford the newest version with 3" of the Purple hyper elastic polymer I can imagine it would be like sleeping on a cloud. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the products from Purple. The pillows are excellent too.

The mattress was comfortable when I first started but I noticed a lack of support the more I used it. Moreover I noticed that my side of the bed sunk in noticeably after a nights sleep. I am a large guy (6'4" 240lbs) but I have never had a new mattress sink that quickly. I literally feel like I'm rolling uphill when I want to roll to the other side of the mattress in the morning. This mattress may do what it has advertised but I don't think this mattress is for me.

This is obviously a well made bed with a lot of thought put into it. It is not a miracle bed though where all your aches and pains will magically melt away. I think we have finally found the perfect solution though, we put an egg crate mattress over top and now it's as good as it gets.

From day 1 I didn't like this mattress. I kept reading that you need time to adjust, so that's what I did, gave it time. My husband seemed to like it more than me, so right at the 100 day mark we decided to keep it, it was summer and hot, and the cooling is the best feature. Fast forward 3 more months and we both are miserable with this mattress. I have woken up with horrible back pain and spasms and I am 100% convinced it is the bed. its very firm, and doesn't conform, therefore putting stress on my lower back. I'm a very active person, I play tennis, do yoga, walk, etc, so I'm healthy in that respect. My back doesn't bother me any other time except when I sleep! My chiropractor told me to get rid of it ASAP! I never adapted and it's too late to do anything about it, 2000 down the drain. My next mattress will have a year long trial for sure!

So I never received the bed. I was very disappointed. I have several bad disks in my back and thought I'd give this product a try. The product made it to Texas fast for freight. After watching tracking for about three days of it saying delivered to agent and not hearing anything else I reached out to Mana the distributor. They were unable to contact the delivery agent at first. A couple days later it was scheduled to be delivered two weeks later. They gave me a twelve hour delivery window of 0800 to 2000 hours. I played along because I was excited to finally have a bed again. Low and behold delivery day came. I took the day off work and cleared all my photography shoots. A&K delivery in Lubbock Texas was the final delivery agent. Google them it's horrifying. At around 1600 hours I called mana since I was unable to contact the delivery agent. Turned out their driver called in sick and they didn't say a word to me. All said and done I requested a refund. I'm just sticking with normal investor instincts and cutting my losses before they get to big. The bed frame was all I received after almost a month of waiting. Turns out between lost wages, shoots, and my time this frame cost me almost a grand. I will not be doing business here again. It was the worst service from the delivery agent I have ever seen. I'm appalled that they don't screen their delivery agents. My suggestion is that management tries their own service and sees the frustration of being left completely in the dark for weeks about the status of a large purchase. Then gets jerked around on delivery day. My time is valuable just like the CEO's time. Sorry for the poor review, but it was a nightmare the this U.S veteran will not fall for again.

We had first tried one of purple's competitors (helix sleep), and ended up returning that mattress after trying the purple mattress. As advertised, the purple mattress provides great support, comfort, motion isolation, sleeps cool and my wife - who is 8 months pregnant - sleeps much better now that we have the purple. Setup was a bit cumbersome by myself, but totally manageable and neither one of us experienced any notable "adjustment period" to the mattress. The only minor issue we've experienced is that, in my opinion, it's not truly a 100% "no pressure" mattress. I do find myself occasionally shifting my position to relive some of the more pronounced pressure points (hip bones, shoulder blades, etc). But once adjusted, the mattress is very comfortable. I do notice that the pressure points are less pronounced the bare mattress (without sheets). I'm hopefully that purple will fast-track their R&D on their sheet products, as I think that a custom sheet set is almost necessary to reap the full benefits of the mattress and its materials. All in all, though, it's the best mattress I've owned (or slept on) and we're very happy with our purchase.

I used to sleep past my alarm, wake up tired, and feel super stiff. After buying my purple I've woken up before my alarms and I feel refreshed. It's so comfortable and it sleeps very cool. The sheets that came with are also extremely comfortable, helps keep the bed cool. Definitely will be buying my next mattress through purple.

I was needing a new mattress since the one I was sleeping on had me in a hole and I had to roll uphill to roll over. I started looking into mattresses that came in a box. I watched a bunch of videos and read reviews. I even made a chart and had some qualities I knew I wanted the product. After days of research I had it narrowed down to two companies, but what sold me on Purple was that their product was so unique. One of the videos said that 50% would like the mattress and 50% wouldn't. I decided that was the one for me because it so unique. It sleeps so cool, temperature wise, and you sleep on top of it, instead of in it. I purchased the mattress cover and sheets, and wish I would have purchased the platform, but that will be next time. It took a few nights to get used to, but now I am looking forward to the good sleep I have been having. It is airy, and cool, the sheets are soft and stretchy and the grid system is really awesome. I am glad I made the purchase, I know you will too!

Had it for a month and am disappointed at just how firm it is. I'm a side sleeper/ occasional back sleeper. I definitely thought my head would sink in way more but It barely makes a dent. Even on my back, my head does not feel supported by how little it sinks in. I ended up flipping it to the insert side, which helps. But it doesn't live up to the purple jelly technology I was expecting. Which is misleading because when you feel the pillow with your hand, you'd think the weight of your head would have a similar effect. The edges of the pillow sink in a bit more but obviously that's not practical long term, so I'm hoping the harmony pillow will be better suited for me.
