I suffer from sciatica and I had such an old mattress. I would wake up in pain multiple times through the night. . I was wondering if purple would help. Not only does my sciatica feel a little less painful every day, but I sleep like a rock. It took a few nights to get used to it, but after that I started sleeping through the night. I love my purple mattress. ❤️

It's alot more comfortable than my original mattress I owned. I'd always be sore and hurting and couldn't sink in. This one I do! I can sink in a little bit, however, I thought I'd experience more of the sink in/ memory foam experience! Maybe I just need My sheets to stretch more? Still a good buy and GOOD price! You!

We had a horrible bed and I have a messed up back, after herniating a disc. I also had upper back problems that caused my hands to go numb every time I lied down. It hurt, a lot, to sleep in this bed, but that changed. I combined aerial yoga with this new bed and after several weeks my back improved immensely. Give the bed a chance, allow your body time to adjust, and look after yourself.

I ordered the purple mattress on the advice of my chiropractor. It took about 3 weeks for me to get used to the mattress and then it was smooth sailing from then on. I no longer wake up with neck pain or backaches. We purchased a bunkbed for our granddaughter when she visits and bought a twin size for her, she sleeps like a log which is a win-win for all of us. When we're away, I miss my purple mattress. I'm trying to talk my 86 year old mom into buying one!

I came home a week ago to find a gigantic purple tampon in my driveway. It took about three weeks from my order date to arrive. The Fed-X guy must hate us, because this thing is big, heavy and awkward. I'm guessing he rolled it off the back of the truck, flipped the bird at my house and took off. Thankfully I have a two wheeled cart that allowed me to get this king sized beast up the steps and into our bedroom. Once there, I was able to roll it into place and slice open the bag easily enough. Mine came out upside down, so maybe it works better to place it at the foot of the bed and roll it out toward the top. (Or maybe I just had it backward.) My wife and I are not in full agreement on the comfort of the mattress. I have slept like a baby from the first night. She struggled for the first few days, but seems to be sleeping much better a week later. She also does not like the lack of edge structure we had with our former (interspring) mattress. The thing I like best about the Purple is the "Dead" feeling when you lay down on it. I find it VERY calming and I fall asleep within minutes, every single time. It seems to be both soft and supportive, something I cannot say about our 20 year old, very firm, Serta mattress. However, the Serta did hold up for a long time. (Something we will find out later about the Purple.) Although I am very physically active, I have had multiple knee surgeries and my hips generally ache in the morning. I have not been able to sleep under the blankets on our bed for quite some time. I have spent years sleeping on top of the bed with a light comforter to alleviate my knee pain, frequently with a pillow between my legs. I am now happy to say I am sleeping comfortably UNDER the covers with no ill effects. The bed seems to cradle me so I feel no unwanted pressure on my hips and knees. My wife is happy to see I have joined the rest of the world "between the sheets". I also find that I am waking up well-rested. I wake more easily, and do not have the stiffness in my knees and hips I had on the old mattress. Come to think of it, I have not had any shoulder pain in the last week, despite having ramped up my workouts significantly...so there is that as well. I have noticed that my wife seems to wake more easily as well, although she remains skeptical about the Purple. I too would like to see a bit more edge structure to the Purple when sitting on the edge to tie a shoe, but my primary focus was on finding a restful night's sleep and I have most certainly found the Purple to excel when it comes to quiet, peaceful and restful sleep. We've had our king original Pirple for about 2 1/2 weeks now and, while we're still in the adjustment period, have been resting more comfortably than on our previous pillow-top. The Purple sheets do work well with the mattress, allowing your body to fully sink in and keeping it cool at night. The Purple mattress itself does sit a bit lower than our previous bed (not so high), but we've quickly gotten used to that. We're still in the 100-day trial mode and hope it continues to perform!

This mattress is working wonders. My wife an I can not wait for bed time, and do not want to get out in the morning. When the kids come to bed we do not notice them. the matress is a dream to sleep on. If one of us is tossing and turning the other one does not fell it. I love this mattress!!

I have lower back problems that I though were caused by my last bed. I was hoping this bed would help with that by supporting my midsection enough when sleeping on my stomach to not put as much pressure on my lower back. I still have lower back issues and I still put a pillow under my stomach at night.

My wife and I were becoming increasing dissatisfied with our mattress and after looking into one of those overpriced air-mattresses we decided it was time to try something new. After having a traditional pillow-top spring model and then a more modern memory foam style, this new mattress from Purple is refreshingly different and really quite comfortable. It was a bit more expensive than what I would normally pay but we have no regrets and are getting much more restful sleep now that I have found the perfect pillow to go with the new bed.

This was by far the best decision I made in 2017! So worth the money invested and saves me so much money going to the chiropractor constantly. As a side sleeper beds are hard to find that don't make you sore one way or a another... this keeps my spine supported without that awful hip pain the next day I love it! GET ONE! #YOUREWORTHIT ;P
