I've had back and neck pain for the past 10+ years. We've tried different beds, pillows, with very little relief. The last bed we purchased was a memory foam that was very comfortable, but didn't help that much with my back/neck issues. My wife couldn't sleep on it at all for a few different reasons. So for the past couple of years we've slept in separate beds. When I discovered the Purple mattress, I showed it to my wife and with all of the glowing reviews about how so many people solved their back, neck, whatever pain, we decided to buy one. My wife was able to sleep on it the first night with relief of her issues. Me, not so much, I woke up in quite a bit of pain. I also read that sometimes you need to adapt to the mattress, so I was willing to stick it out for a while to see if it got better for me. Finally after about a month, my pain wasn't bad in the morning like it was when I first started sleeping on it. However, as far as helping with my back and neck issues, I don't think it's really done much to help. My wife is still very pleased with it. One thing it did do though is got us both to sleep in the same bed again. I'm hoping that as I sleep on it more and more it will help me get rid of the pain I've been struggling with. At least it isn't making it worse like when we first got it.

Very strange feeling, sliding around a lot, and mattress is very low. No side support at all, need a bedframe with sides so you don't fall out. Getting used to it though, and it is comfortable if you don't move around a lot, and if you sleep on your back. Otherwise, not the best. However, the pillow is AMAZING!

We are IN LOVE with our new mattress. I have really horrible hips and no mattress has provided me with any real relief. Firm mattresses are brutal and even super softs ones only provided relief for a few weeks. The purple mattress has been a miracle. I have no pain from sleeping and it is so comfortable! Thank you purple!!!

I had very high expectations and anticipation after reading all the reviews and ordering. I'd say since the mattress arrived it has met these lofty expectations... I will say that both my wife and I had to change the way we sleep on this mattress but now that we have figured that out it is great!

Their service was good and the mattress came quickly. I like that they mattress isn't as hot as memory foam, but it still has temperature issues. We've had the mattress for a couple of months and my shoulders (I'm a side sleeper) are much worse with this mattress than with my old mattress.

We got this mattress in our RV that we fulltime in, good thing we have a residential queen. It was a bit heavy for the manufacturer frame but after adding a few braces the mattress is no problem. I was having lots of back issues before and the first night sleeping on it was glorious. The 2nd and 3rd night was still a good nights rest even with our two-year-old in bed kicking around all night. I have also not complained about my back aching or hurting in the mornings or throughout the day. The biggest con to the mattress is that all day long you'll be thinking about just laying down in your bed. Which I did on a Saturday just bc it was so comfy and inviting. I have recommended this mattress to lots of my military friends and they are slowly making their way over to feel it and see what they think. One of them have already ordered it. Another one of the biggest things I believe helps the bed more comfy are the sheets that I got from purple. I don't think I'll ever use any other sheet again. Though expensive they really make the night. All of our other sheets have turned into ground blankets outside or in the garage already.

Our first king purple developed sags where we slept after 2 years of sleeping. We contacted purple and after some email contact back and forth Purple shipped us a brand new mattress. The only difference is this King mattress was a little bigger by a couple of inches than the previous one.

We traded up from some version of Tempur Pedic to the Purple base, mattress, and sheets. Our previous mattress was probably 6-8 years old. The base is great. It's light and easy to set up, as long as your feet and legs fit in the little openings so you can reach the connection points in the center. It provides a solid, stable base for the mattress, and makes zero squeaking or rattling sounds. The sheets are awesome. Soft, smooth, stretchy, just the right weight, what seems like huge elastic around the fitted sheet so it doesn't come untucked at the corners. Highly recommended. The mattress is heavy. Like, really heavy. They are not kidding when they say you need a helper. We had to adjust our bedskirt after getting the mattress unrolled on the base and I thought we were going to have to rent a crane. That being said, it's comfortable and doesn't get hot like the Tempur Pedic did. We are actually able to use our fancy, heavy duvet to sleep under instead of the lightweight blanket we've been using for years, just because the mattress stays cooler. I am a light, side sleeper, and I tend to toss and turn all night because my shoulders and hips get sore. I was hoping this mattress would finally give me a good night's rest, but alas, I still toss and turn because of sore shoulders and hips (although it's mostly my hips now). My wife is a heavy sleeper, and she enjoys the mattress but says it isn't a significant improvement over the previous one (other than being cooler). Since we needed a new mattress anyway, I'm happy with the Purple as a replacement, but I'm disappointed that it wasn't the life-changing upgrade I'd hoped for. A good night's sleep still eludes me, unless I give in and take some sort of sleeping pill.

It took us several nights to find the right balance with this new mattress. We originally tried the Purple mattress on our box spring for 3 nights and decided it was too firm. We then went back to our original mattress to see if we truly needed a new mattress. After sleeping on our old mattress for two nights we swapped out the box spring and put our original mattress under the new Purple mattress (using our old mattress as a "box spring". This seemed to make the Purple mattress soft enough for us to enjoy a quality night of sleep without waking up with back or shoulder pain. I have to say that we are not overly thrilled with the Purple mattress but we are slowly adjusting to the new feel.

I had always heard about the Purple Mattress on ads on YouTube years ago and I always wanted to try it out. Then a lady who rented on of my sisters duplexes bought one and when she moved out she left it behind. So my second older sister kept it and when I went to visit her I got to try it out and I was amazed how I wasn't hurting when I woke up. And for a person who is always in pain this is amazing and I am so happy I was finally able to buy one.
