After cracking a vertebrae and rupturing a disc back in '98 while in the Marine Corps, I found that it was impossible for me to sleep on my back without a pillow under my knees. I spent years struggling to sleep without pain, and after countless different mattresses I tried Purple. When I first got it I expected it to be no different than any of the others... needless to say I was completely blown away the first time I slept on it. For the first time in nearly 20 years I would stretch out entirely on my back with no pillow under my knees and no pain. In fact I fell asleep almost instantly and slept through the entire night, and every night following... something that rarely happened in the past. For anyone with back pain or injuries, I definitely suggest Purple for both its support and comfort.

My husband has had back problems all his life. Even sleeps with a c-pap. This bed has really been a blessing. We've had for about a month and my husband loves it. I'm still on the fence about it. I liked my caved in bed before. But I also can sleep anywhere. My husband is a back sleeper also and it's done wonders for his back. I can honestly say, so far, that the purple bed hasn't caved and we still have it on our old box springs. It's made for a platform bed for sure but will work with box springs also. It's a lot less thicker than a pillow top mattress and the only good out of that is that our down throw fits perfectly on the bed now. Take the chance on this matesss. You will not be disappointed.

Mattress seems fine, but was left outside my apartment door. I, a 70 year old woman, (but fi) had to haul into my apartment. That was such an ordeal that I waited two weeks before dragging I into the bedroom and onto the bed. Now I need to get the old mattress down to the basement. So much for setting up the delivery!

Starting from the unpackaging, the whole Purple line exceeded my expectations. It's a dream everytime i sit or lay down in it. My sheets didnt come for a few days after I got my bed so I used my regular sheets at first and the experience got a lot better once the Purple sheets arrived. For anyone writing negative reviews about the bed while they're not using the sheets you should try it with the Purple sheets.

My husband tried convincing me to agree to getting a purple mattress for years. I was not sold and put it off. We took the plunge and he was right all along. It is the best bed I have ever slept in and I get much better rest along with less back and joint pain. Looking forward to buying the pillows soon!

At first I loved my bed and thought it was the greatest thing I've ever slept on but now we are reaching the two year mark and it feels like I'm sleeping in a ditch. To look at the mattress, it looks perfectly flat but if I'm not in the exact right place I feel like I'm slanted on the side of a ditch. Good news is I live in a hot climate and the mattress doesn't heat me up at night and I do love the pillow. Everything else is a busy. I'm really disappointed because I had high hopes for this mattress.

Was skeptical at first, so was comforted I had a 30 day trial. But, after a few nights sleeping on the mattress was pleasantly surprised! I actually slept longer without tossing and turning. Waking up much less often than with my previous memory foam. I have back problems and have to say I feel better throughout the day now with our new Purple.

I suffer from back pain, so it took me a while to decide which direction to go when buying my mattress. I did my research, and I went for purple. This is my first Purple mattress and I have to say that my lower back ache has definitely improve, I can feel the support that it provides to my body. I'm really happy with the purchase. Side note, I know that the mattress will not heal my lower back condition but I also know for a fact too, that it has improve my quality of life.

I am blown away so far!! Received my king mattress, cover, purple pillows, sleep mask, sheets 5 days from when I placed my order, a week before Christmas and it's so wonderfully comforting!! I can't wait to experience rest! Christmas bonus money well spent!!

We were in the market for a new mattress. My husband has recently lost 140 pounds and I've lost 40. Our old mattress had a "hole" in it where we used to sleep and we were falling into the hole every night. My daughter suggested Purple because she had seen the cute ad. So, I watched the ad and became curious. I then did some research and found some reviews of Purple. The more I looked, the more interested I became. We decided that we had nothing to lose because of the fabulous 90-day guarantee. If we didn't like it, then we'd give it back. Easy. It was very easy to set up (though a bit heavy to haul up the stairs!!). It was ready for sleep within minutes. That part was very easy. The first night, I didn't sleep too well because I felt like I was in somebody else's bed! However, within a week, I knew I was in love. Here are the main reasons I love Purple: 1. When my husband gets up in the night and sits on the side of the bed doing all of his stretching and scratching, I don't even notice. It used to feel like a minor earthquake and now I don't even know he has gotten out of bed! 2. I'm no longer having to take Advil before bed every night for my hips. In fact, I've only taken Advil once since getting the mattress and it had to do with a strenuous yoga class and had nothing to do with sleeping! 3. I can sleep next to my husband without rolling onto my husband. We can lay side by side without creating a hole the other has to fall into. 4. I don't wake up every time I roll over. It used to be a process. I had to grab the side of the mattress and drag my body into a new position. Now, either I'm not moving or not waking when I do! 5. I can sleep on my stomach! I'm not a stomach sleeper, but I tried it the other night and I was comfortable. Amazing! I give Purple five stars out of five stars.
