After watching the ads, I expected a night of angels singing as I lay on a cloud. That didn't happen. The overall experience was not substantially different from sleeping on my previous mattress. Except that with my old mattress, I awoke every morning with a sore shoulder. So far, no sore shoulder with this mattress. And that was my whole incentive for buying the mattress, so... mission accomplished!

When doing research, Purple came up in the top 5 mattresses for side sleepers. I was skeptical but made the purchase anyway after watching the unboxing video on YouTube. I put the mattress in the guest room we had just remodeled so it didn't get slept on for a while. I recently had a minor procedure done and decided to take a nap in that room and slept very well.

I recently bought a Perfect Sleeper, to only be disappointed shortly after. I did my research and landed on a National Sleep Foundation approved bed and thought, great! I would get a tight back and buttocks every morning w/o fail. When I got my Purple, I have not had that tightness in the mornings since. My only complaint is that I have to find a better pillow now. The mattress is firm. Which takes some getting used to. But so far, I am happy with it.

I ordered the Purple pillow and mattress(got free sheets with the promo at the time). I was hesitant to purchase from Purple because of same bad review I had read online. I had done a lot of research to try and find the best mattress for me(I suffer from chronic lower back and neck pain). After finding another mattress I thought would be good I was going to purchase it but I still felt that the Purple was the right choice for me. I overcame my hesitation and pulled the trigger on purchasing the Purple pillow and mattress(it did help that the sheet promo was going on). I received the pillow and sheets first. I was very surprised at how heavy the pillow was. Feeling the pillow with my hand was quite amusing to me(it's so squishy). When I finally got over the initial excitement I laid down with the new pillow and I had never felt anything like it before. It was almost as if I wasn't even on a pillow. I did still have some neck pain the first night with the new pillow but I blame my mattress. The sheets were very stretchy and it was obvious(at least to me) that regular sheets just wouldn't give the full experience of the Purple mattress and pillow. A couple days later the mattress came and it too was very heavy(I would recommend getting someone to help you up stairs). Once the mattress was set up it to felt like nothing I've felt before. It is both soft and firm at the same time. Just as the advertisements say, the first few inches is a pressure relief layer and the next two are for support. For the past 2 years or so I have woken up almost every day with neck pain and the first night I slept on the mattress/pillow/sheets combo I didn't have any pain. I've now been sleeping on the combo for about 2 weeks and still wake up pain free. I tend to have bad posture so I do still have pain during the day occasionally, but the feeling of no pain in the morning is fantastic. I'm not saying that this combo cured my pain completely, because it didn't, but I am saying it significantly reduced my pain. My body is still getting used to the whole setup but I am very confident that when my body has fully adjusted(and I learn to no slouch) I will have little to no pain.

I have degenerative disc disease and have been trying to find a bed that provides support but is still comfortable. After trying memory foam, orthopedic beds, and air support I was convinced there was no solution. My wife suggested Purple because she was convinced the unique design might help. The first night I slept on the Purple I immediately noticed a difference! It has now been two months and my back pain is gone and for the first time in years I am sleeping through the night without pain. THANK YOU PURPLE! If you have lower back issues BUY THIS MATTRESS!!!! You will never regret it.

Being a stomach/side sleeper who prefers a firmer mattress this mattress is very squishy. I bought it due to back/hip pain. It does 'adjust' and is comfortable during the night. Have not had pain in the morning since changing. I'm still trying to get use to the softness of the memory foam. Still in my trial period, hoping I don't have to switch back to traditional mattress and keep purple!

The purple mattress not only supports my side sleeping preference, but also never sags or makes me feel as if my butt is sinking, kind of like an air mattress does when it loses air. The commercials are accurate and every mattress comes with t-shirt style stretchy sheets which are super comfortable, but I'd have to say I do feel myself sweating slightly more with these sheets compared to others. Every purchase also comes with a cool mini mattress toy to show off your new mattress material! 11/10 would recommend and buy again!

I bought this mattress because my 11 year old wanted one so bad, he saved up his birthday money to help pay for it. He loves it! It came packaged very well and even included some neat little extras, like a sleep mask and a miniature version of the purple inside. The sheets and mattress protector are amazing quality as well!

We loved our purple. We had an adjustment period, but it wasn't long. Loved it for a while. Less than a year and I already had a slight "trench" that I kept slipping into. I put an anti-sag piece under from our last mattress and now I'm wonderful again. Just didn't know how it happened so quickly and very noticeable. We will talk to the company if the anti sag stops working. I am hoping as I lose more and more weight, that this will be better. Also maybe a little of the box springs, but I don't really think so. Love the coolness feel; I hate to sweat when I sleep.

The first week my back was killing me and I tossed and turned all night. but now in the second week I seem to be getting used to it. I hope. I want to like it. My wife has not had the same issues as she prefers a firm mattress which I would say that this is. She likes it so far
