When I was young, my aunt made me kneel against the wall with my arms crossed when I was being bad. This was extremely frequent and I developed back problems at the age of 5 for arching my back. The purple mattress along with the royal seat cushion made all the pain go away. I wish I had another royal seat cushion though!

Great for couples who find it difficult to agree on too hard to soft issue...its just right for both. Plus I tend to sleep hot since I have been battling breast cancer over the last year. The treatments have forced me into menopause...but my night sweats are greatly improved on the purple mattress. Its a great value as well compared to other mattresses that are upwards of 4000$. My husband & I have never slept better and like many others have said, you may find it hard to get outta bed. The purple mattress, sheets & protector are all very awesome products.

It is worth it to spend the money and get a nice comfortable bed, it really makes a difference. No matter how stressed out my day is I know as soon as I hit the bed I will sleep soundly and wake up refreshed! I am a side sleeper ad this is the first bed I have every had where I don't get those pain points in my hip and shoulder from laying on my side. We spend so many hours in bed and we NEED sleep and I think everyone NEEDS this bed, Thank you Purple!!!

We ordered the Purple split king mattress in anticipation of also purchasing the new power base. We wanted to love it, but after even just one night on it, it was clear that the mattress was too firm for us. Both my wife and I woke up sore. We tried it for several nights, but it just wasn't working. The top layer feels really nice at first, but it seems like the underlying foam layers aren't cushy enough. I'm giving 3 stars because a firm bed might be great for some, just not for us. Also, the whole purchasing and returning process was really smooth. The customer service was great. The bed seems really high quality, but just not a good fit for us.

I love my Purple mattress! It was a bit pricey for me, but I tend to have issues with most mattresses as I have scoliosis and tend to wake up with back pain and stiffness. Since I started sleeping on this mattress, I haven't had any of those problems! Love the mattress. Probably one of the best investments I've made.

We shopped around alot (Casper, Amerisleep, Denver Mattress, Purple, Tempurpedic, Sleep Nation) and decided on a Casper mattress. After 30 days, we still had neck and back soreness and when sleeping on our sides, our shoulders would fall asleep. So we returned that and went with the original Purple and regretted not going with this as our first choice. It's the right firmness/squishyness/coolness for us and feels luxurious. Only complaint is that the mattress is super heavy (almost 150lbs for a king) so it was difficult to get upstairs and on the bedframe. Also there is a very slight hint of motion transfer which we didn't have with the Casper. Small prices to pay for all the other pluses.

I bought my first purple to replace an old temperpedic. Loved it, but it had a indentation failure after two years. Purple replaced it promptly, so I ordered another for my second home. They seem to stand by their products and they sleep well. For the price it blows most out of the water. However, I only have the basic model. When I ordered I noticed they now have upgraded integrations that make them on par with expensive mattresses. I cannot speak to those as I wanted a good mattress at a good price. 1k is ok, 5k not so much. Try the base model. If you don't like it search elsewhere for the $.

We were lucky to get our mattress by Christmas 2018. We have loved our mattress since day 1. No more back pain and can't sleep on any other mattress anymore. The problem for me right now is that I'll be sleeping in my comfy spot on my back and I'll occassionally turn to my sides because I start to feel hot... which is weird because Purple beds are supposed to sleep cool. It might be because we layered the bed with the mattress protector sheet, then put a fitted Purple sheet on top of that, but why would Purple have those options if it's not going to allow the bed to breathe, right? My wife feels the same way. Another thing that's weird is that hot spot wouldn't take too long to cool down after I've turned to my side. Anyway, we love the bed but we can't figure out why it's not sleeping cool, at least properly, for us.

I purchased a Purple for 2 reasons. 1, I needed a new bed. 2, I love technology. I think the bed is great and I know longer wake up with random pains. Unfortunately, my significant other has an issue with one of her knees and has been complaining about not being able to get sleep the first few nights. I'm not sure what was causing the pain but it does appear to be lessening as time goes by. It's been about 2-3 weeks since we received the Purple.

I slept on the Purple mattress, my ex had bought, for 2 years (we're no longer together). Before 2017, I had to sleep in a recliner due to having 3 back surgeries and couldn't sleep on conventional mattresses. Those 2 years sleeping on the Purple mattress we're the BEST sleep I've ever had. No pressure on my hips, shoulders or legs. It almost seemed like it was created just for me! Since my ex and I split up, I'm back to sleeping on a recliner. There are nights I cry wishing I had my very own Purple mattress and hating the recliner I have to sleep on once again. I'm disabled and can't afford to buy a Purple mattress for myself but I hope that one day I will have one again. I cannot say enough great things about this mattress.
