We've had the mattress a few weeks and are still getting used to it. It's quite a bit firmer than expected and taking longer than expected to get use to. We just ordered a pillow topper to help with the firmness and it's helping us to sleep better on it than our previous mattress.

I was skeptical, having been told that expensive memory foam mattresses were the only answer for back pain. Purple is the best decision I ever made. I don't feel like I'm getting swallowed and if I adjust my position in the middle of the night, I don't have to wait for the mattress to catch up. I feel so supported and pain free! I love my PURPLE!!!

Initial trial period is less than 30 days but I am still experiencing extreme discomfort in my lower back and shoulder pain. There has not been any noticeable pain relief to date. I will continue with the 100 day trial period in order to determine how my body will adjust to the Purple mattress.

I was really nervous about buying a mattress online before testing it out myself, but I really appreciate other people who left honest & helpful reviews on the Purple website. Buying a mattress is a lot of money, so thank you to those who helped us make our decision by provided helpful info. We are enjoying our new Purple Mattress. We've have it for just over a month now. It's firm & very comfortable. We like that it's not bouncy, (so when one of us moves or rolls over the other person doesn't feel it). It sleeps cool...so I'm excited for that in the summer time, for now we just put a fluffy blanket down to keep it warm in the winter. At first we put the Purple Mattress on our old box springs (trying to save $, but the box springs was super squeaky, so we bought the Purple Frame...now it's as quite as a mouse, no matter what shenanigans we have going on). We also got a Purple Pillow. I didn't like it as a pillow to much, but I took it to work & I'm using it as a cushion on my desk chair & it's great. Overall, we're very happy with our purchase.

When we got it delivered there was no way I could lift it or drag it into the house, my husband had to do it, so it is really heavy, I suggest if you live alone or are a small person you will need to have a friend come help you get in to your place and get it to your bedroom. It was a real pain to get it unwrapped, lifted on to the bed , and get the plastic off. It really needs a sticker so something indicating which side is up so when you unwrap it you dont unwrap it wrong side up, which is what we did. I took a star off for these reasons only. The mattress was really uncomfortable the first week, but only because we where sleeping on crap and our muscles where not accustomed to having proper support so we had some soreness but now I dont want to sleep anywhere else! We are loving this mattress and both sleeping great! No more hip or back pain, and its not hot at all for a foam mattress. I will not buy anything other than a Purple from here on out. I suggest buying one right now and giving it a go! Oh and buy their mattress protector! please do it! Its soft and it's already come in handy (dog threw up on our bed) so yea add it to your purchase its worth it.

Honestly, when we first got our first Purple mattress, we were in love. We would try and convince other people we knew to buy one too. Then we noticed there were already impressions happening on the mattress. We contacted Purple, and I will say at least they did have great customer service. They did replace it. This was basically January 2021. We are approaching January 2022 and these impressions have already happened again. Basically within a 2-3 year window, the foam has already compressed and is not holding up. For context, I am 5'6, 160 lbs. We have followed all the things in terms of the setup of the bed and frame. We use stretchy sheets and nothing that would compress the foam already or degrade the purple grid. I think for spending a decent amount of money on a mattress that has a 10 year warranty, they do not hold up even close to that. And to be fair, I think when I look back, the fact that this mattress can be compressed down into a box and shipped to me, it makes sense the foam is not going to hold up since it has already been squished down to fit inside a box. It is difficult to see in the photos but I tried to attach them to this review. This is for the original mattress not the hybrid versions.

This mattress is perfect for all types of sleepers! I like a soft mattress and my partner likes a firm one and the purple mattress is the only one we could find that works for both of us! Customer service was extremely helpful when we had an issue with our first shipment. I definitely recommend!

After suffering through a standard mattress and a memory foam mattress, we thought Iwe would try the Purple, and we are glad Iwe did. The mattress has helped my sore hip from running and my wife's often barking knees. The mattress is firm but not too firm. It allows us to roll form side to side without feeling as if we are rolling up hill. It has been a couple weeks and we can say that we are quite pleased with the mattress and the results to date. Nest it is time to grab a Purple pillow!

The mattress that I just purchased along with the mattress cover, sheets and platform is for our guest bedroom. My husband and I have had a Purple mattress for a couple of years and love it so we made the decision to put one in the guest bedroom. I look forward every night to crawling into bed because I know my body will feel amazing the next morning. I highly recommend the Purple mattress. Hopefully soon we can outfit our second guest room. Amazing product.

We've had our Purple for 2 weeks now and we are sleeping better than ever and waking with no soreness at all. You can tell by the condition of our covers in the morning that we are not tossing and turning like before either - this is by far the best bed we've ever had - thank you!
