This is definitely my dream mattress. I bought this mattress about 10 months ago and I absolutely loved it. I will say it took me some time getting used to but after I did my sleep quality went through the roof. I followed Purple Mattress for a while and I was determined to get one. When the opportunity presented itself I bought one. My girlfriend was shocked when we received it in the mail and she believes she will never get a better night sleep.

Definitely much cooler for sure. That part was great. My wife however has had right hip/leg/back pain in the mornings so severe that she is unable to walk fully on her right side for about 20 minutes each morning. Started getting worse and worse. We were trying to give it time to adjust but she couldn't adjust to it or the pain. Now our choice is pain or take a loss and a lesson. We tried to return it but missed the trial date by less than 72 hours.

I think I got my expectations too high for this mattress before buying it. I have a lot of upper back pain and I guess I was hoping this bed would help with that. But so far, it hasn't. I do seem to sleep better with less tossing and turning compared to my old bed. Meaning I wake up maybe 2-3 times a night instead of 7-10. But I find that I have a hard time getting comfortable to get back to sleep after I've woken up. Honestly, I find it significantly more comfortable to lay in or sit in (with the adjustable frame) when I'm not sleeping. Then it's amazing. I would use it as a couch over a bed if I had my way. But when I'm actually trying to sleep it suddenly feels too firm for me. Idk. I might still just need some time to get used to it. My husband has been liking it though.

NOT for people over 300# Have had less than 3 months and already I (140#) can feel the change in support and "dip" feel on my side VS the middle . My husband sits in the edge of the bed and it hits bottom. The feel of the " dip " on his side is more pronounced, . I do NOT recommend the original purple for heavy people. The only positive is that my joints do have less pain - but how much of that was just simply replacing my 15 year old mattress??

My husband and I both wake up in the mornings with some sort of back or shoulder pain. After reading the reviews I was super hopeful that the purple mattress was the answer. Although my husband does seem to have gotten a little relief from the mattress, I have not and to me it is just another expensive mattress. Good luck to future buyers, I do hope this mattress brings you relief.

We absolutely love our Purple Mattress. We purchased a queen sized a few years ago and absolutely love it. As our family has grown and more dogs sleep in bed with us we have upgraded to a king and couldn't be happier! Our guest room has inherited the queen mattress and all guests have been so happy with it as well.

I loved the initial comfort of it, but over the course of the month that we've had it, it is still hot to sleep on, and I feel like I am getting little support. it is way more comfortable than our other mattress was after its three-year lifespan. hopefully purple will redeem itself because I love the purple.

Original Purple Mattress: About 1 year ago I decided that I needed and new mattress. The pervious mattress I bought dipped in with in 6 months and I was fed up. I wanted something that would last awhile and I am super happy with my Purple. Like most people, I was skeptical with all the hype so I had done a lot of research. Purple is definitely for someone who wants to try something a little different. For the first month I had it, my back hurt and it felt hard to get up but once I was up, I would feel fantastic. It definitely takes some getting use to but after a year I feel better then ever! No more back pain! Sheets: With my purchase of the Purple mattress, I received the purple sheets as a gift. I absolutely love how the sheets feel and how stretchy they are. They are definitely a must with the mattress. The only problem is, is that they rip fairly easy. My first set of sheets had many many holes after the first couple months and since then I bought another set and been extra careful with washing them. Platform: About a month ago, I really needed to get a platform for it since I had been sleeping with the mattress on the floor but found MANY reviews saying the Purple platform base was super squeaky. I took my chances though and decided to try it and it hasn't made one peep. Its just as silent as when it was on the floor. Pillow: For my birthday last year, I received the purple pillow. I absolutely love it! It weighs about 10 pounds and I know it will never go flat. I'll never use another pillow. >3 So overall I am in love with my Purple bedding and the only complaint I have is that the sheets aren't as durable as I would hope and they aren't cheap either. I would definitely recommend buying Purple if you are considering! Much love to the Purple company >3

I finally replaced by very worn out mattress with a purple and couldn't be happier. My purple cradles my hips but supports my side, I've noticed a serious decrease in back pain since getting it. I will definitely be sticking with purple for my mattress purchases going forward.

I had bought all purple products in past 20 days . My sheet feels great but it's not sturdy at all after 5 days it start to fall a part , I called customer service they told me I have to wait for few days to get an e mail ,then I have to go to post office and pay for the shipping and I probably get my money after two to three weeks. I wish I could upload the picture in this page to show it to everyone how defect my sheet is.
