We have had our Purple Mattress for nearly a month now and are thrilled with our purchase. We are expecting our first child and as I got further along in my pregnancy, we knew we needed a new mattress. Our old mattress had 10+ years on it. My husband now sleeps through the night, wakes up with no pain and without a sweaty pillow. I am able to sleep through the night with my growing belly with no springy mattress pressure points. The mattress is perfectly firm and contours perfectly to our bodies. If you enjoy a firmer mattress, this is the one for you when comparing to other similar mattress styles.

My husband and I tried the Purple Mattress for almost the full 100 days--- we REALLY wanted to love it. But both of us are side-sleepers, and as time went on, I started developing hip and back pain, and occasional numbness in my legs during the day. My husband started experiencing shoulder and back pain, so we decided to return the mattress. The return process was incredibly easy-- the team was super helpful and everything went smoothly. The overall quality of the mattress was good but it just didn't suit our needs.

My wife and I are blown away with the comfort of this mattress. It's different for sure, and took a night or two to get used to, but now that we're used to it I can't imagine ever going back. What we didn't expect was also how QUIET it is! Without the creaky springs the mattress is completely silent. All in all we're totally happy with our purchase!

We had a Nectar mattress for over 6 months and it just wasn't right. Felt like we were stick in the mud and always hot. The Purple mattress sleeps cool, is much more comfortable and all our aches and pains are gone. We highly recommend this mattress.

As with most people, the first few weeks sleeping on the Purple mattress were challenging. One morning I woke up with my arms asleep and in so much pain that I was convinced there was no other option but to return it. However, after reading about the experiences of others, I decided to stick it out. At the end of the trial period we were happy with the quality of the sleep we were getting and hopeful that we would continue to be satisfied for 4-5 years. That was just over 1 year ago. We are very disappointed with the durability. Our comfort has deteriorated to the point where we are just hoping to get 1 more year before going on the search - again! - for a mattress that will hold up for a longer period of time. We purchased the platform with the mattress, use the Purple brand sheets, and neither my husband nor I are large or heavy people so there is nothing we have done to shorten the life of the mattress. I was really hoping for better for the price.

Love the mattress but did not like the delivery. It was left at the front office where I live and I'm a senior citizen and had to 'haul' it to my front door. I was notified that the delivery was going to take place, so I stayed home to receive the product...no one showed up at my door. It was just left at the office. No attempt to contact me at my home.

My husband likes soft and I like firm beds. This bed was literally like the commercial...JUST RIGHT!! the only thing I didn't like was the manufacturing smell from the first 2 nights. Once that went away, i go upstairs to lay in my bed just because. It is so comfortable. Best Adult bed purchase ever!

Get this mattress. You will love it! It's been two months since switching to our queen sized Purple 3, and I love it. Night 1, I couldn't sleep because I was too excited for my new mattress, but I immediately noticed two thing - first, it slept much cooler than my traditional mattress. Even with our down comforter for the winter, my warmth was escaping through the mattress, so I felt a slight chill. No worries. I wore a t-shirt until the Spring and was fine. Second, I noticed I had no pinching pain in my shoulder as I laid on my side, so no urge to roll back and forth from side to side! Nights 2 - 7, I gradually started adjusting to the new mattress and sleeping more soundly as the nights continued. (It took my wife a few extra days to adjust). The best thing I can say about this mattress is that after 14+ months of waking up with lower and mid-back pain on my traditional mattress, I'm experiencing absolutely no pain in the night and no pain when I wake in the morning! You really do feel cradling support around your pressure points (hips, shoulders, knees). Nights 8 - 60+, I continue to sleep with no pain, and I've been getting increasingly more restful sleep. I've had more energy, and I've been able to add more exercise and physical activity into my daily routine - contributing to even more restful sleep at night. Quick side notes: 1) Demand must be high for these mattresses, so be patient for your order to arrive. (I think we waited 1 month. It's worth the wait!) 2) Part of the deal when we purchased was that the delivery team would take away our old mattress. The delivery guys (contractors, I'm sure - not Purple employees) tried to play dumb and not take away our old mattress. Don't let them play dumb!

My husband and I have had our mattress for right at a month now, and we couldn't love it more! It was our wedding present to eachother haha. I'm not going to lie, the first night or two it took a little adjusting just because the texture of the top layer is way different than what we're used to. But once we got used to it it has been amazing. I find myself so refreshed in the morning but the bed is so comfortable it is a little hard to leave!

We purchased the queen mattress, queen bed frame and the bamboo sheets, also, a portable seat cushion. The shipping was much quicker than they led us to expect, too. We love Purple. I was having back and hip pain that was making me feel older than my 53 years and could NEVER sleep on my back. Immediately after assembling the bed and sleeping through the night, I awoke with not even an uncomfortable transition step, after years of getting out of bed and limping through the first few minutes like a hunched old woman. I can even sleep on my back without low back pain and much less neck pain. I may have to try a pillow, next. The frame is great, too. The mattress arrived before the frame, so we had it on our old box frame for a few weeks and the squeaking was really annoying every time we'd move. The new frame is silent, so you really can move without disturbing your partner. I do wish they had a higher/taller option or some really great elevating blocks...we do like a higher bed. My only "complaints" are about the sheets and portable cushion. The sheets are so "delicious" feeling, but they are pilling and it kills me. To spend that much on such wonderful feeling sheets and have them pill so quickly is very disappointing. I also don't notice any performance difference in using the stretchy sheets or my regular Egyptian cotton, so there's that... I'm still going to use them until the pilling on fitted sheet gets too bad. Also, the seat cushion - I got it for my car, because I thought it would help my SI pain and the leg numbness I get on long-distance drives. No real difference and it just makes me feel at odd angles in my seat. I bet the thickest one is great in 18 wheeler seats, but a cushion in a standard car is just not great. So, no fault of the Purple, just car seats. So overall, I will give my entire experience 5 starts. The mattress alone makes up for any other shortcomings.
