The return process is kinda inconvenient and a little klunky. When I called Purple originally to return the bed I was told I have to respond to an email that would be sent. The guilt trip of what to decide to do with it is a little awkward, especially since these options are not outlined on the website ahead of time for consumers to consider. Unfortunately, this mattress did not work for me. And neither does this painstaking return process. Either provide the information upfront, or drop the options if you can't support the donation process better.

The Purple Bed is both cozy and supportive. I have slept on it for over 6 months and it is nothing short of wonderful. Four of my patients have bought on my recommendation and they are all happy with their purchase. I particularly like the fact that it is a neutral temperature bed that reflects back little of my heat. With a down comforter it is warm in the winter and I found it to be cool in the summer. It promotes my deep cycle and my REM sleep. I look forward to a restful sleep every night.

My wife and I bought the Powerbase with a queen size mattress and had issues at first waking up refreshed. There was an adjustment period, like feeling after a workout, good but had a soar back. After about a week of sleeping on this mattress, man do I sleep better than ever. And my wife's neck pain has gone away that's been chronic for the past few years! You need to give it time to work, but it is worth every penny. Awesome work Purple!

Let's start with some boundaries: New Purple 3 queen Had it about 4 months now Got the pillows and the sheets to go with it. Initially the bed was very firm too much so to my liking but after about a month it was soft and plush. I also had some relative hardship adjusting to the bed. I would wake up sore and I really wasn't a fan but now that I've slept on it consistently all other beds feel hard and unappealing. Oddly enough my partner didn't have any problems and she loved it immediately. I've noticed that more nights than before I would sleep straight through the night. The main reason I got the bed was that I slept super hot and I will testify the bed is so cool especially when getting under the covers; Im looking forward to the summer. I would recommend a stretchy sheet such as the ones Purple sells or a jersey knit for extra cool factor but cotton sheets are satisfactory particularly on really cold days and you want to be warm. To anyone getting this mattress I would recommend getting to try it in a mattress store to get an idea of the feeling of the bed and the firmness. I went in thinking the of the Purple 2 as I enjoy a mid-firm bed but was too hard. The Purple 4 was too soft but I could see why it is appealing. If you can't try it in person try out the trial period and give it time and I'm sure the bed will adjust (hopefully) to your liking. The breakin period is relatively short but just make sure you sleep all over it not just in one spot to really break it in. In short I thought the bed was going to have short comings but a bit of patience proved me wrong and I love my bed I plan to keep it for the next 10 years and re-evaluate at 5 years. So far I'm completely satisfied and so is my significant other who loves it as well!

We bought a bed due to my husband having back issues from 2 back surgeries. This has been the only bed we have owned that he didn't wake up in excruciating pain from. We love our bed! And purple is an amazing company. They care about their customers and making sure they receive the best night sleep, and their beds are up to expectations without paying the ridiculous cost that other companies charge.

I had watched purple commercials and YouTube videos for years before finally purchasing a purple. My wife and I were waking up sore and our old mattress was doing more harm than good. My average sleep score on Fitbit was a 72 each night. We purchased the purple and how are life has changed. No more pain. No more soreness. I'm averaging an 85 each night on my Fitbit. I used to toss and turn from side to side by now I wake up in the exact position I went to sleep in. And as great as the mattress is, the pillows are even better. I'm on my second purple original mattress. I have one in 2 different houses, and love it. Finally... I can get solid sleep without shoulder, hip or knee pain. I'm a 6'8" and 270 pound athlete... so I sleep warm and have to have a place for my shoulders to sink into... without dropping the mattress through my mid spine. The grid technology accommodates both needs, unlike a traditional pillow top or solid block of foam.

I absolutely love my Purple Mattress. I wake up without a back ache. I'm so glad I decided to order it. I also took advantage of the free sheet offer and they are amazing. Super soft and so cool temperature wise in the summer. My husband is loving them too! We also got the Purple bed frame and we now have so much space under our bed compared to our standard bed frame. I would recommend this bed to anyone.

Both the mattress and the customer service are amazing. Amanda B is the bomb. She went out of her way to accommodate us and respond to all of my emails quickly. The mattress itself is exactly what we wanted, firm but also giving. Our frame is on the way and I'm more than sure it'll be exactly what we were looking for!

The purple bed is really a super soft bed. I am always finding a hard time getting myself out of bed now in the mornings for work now because i never want to leave its softness. Worth every penny. Only thing im missing now is the purple pillow then my life will be perfect sleepwise.
