First off let me say Purple has the best customer service team I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Not only does purple make one of the most amazing products, but they also have a 5 star support team. I suffer from multiple lower back issues. I have had 2 surgeries at the age of 39 due to my stenosis, arthritis, and advanced degernative disease which gives me around the clock sciatic pain. I own my salon which means I just don't work 40 hrs a week behind a chair, I end up working all week long. When it used to come to sleeping I would dread laying down at night due to constant rolling and discomfit, but not anymore. I have slept on several high quality high cost mattresses and purple has not only designed a perfect mattress they did so that it was also cost affordable as well. If you have ever suffered from any of the above mentioned conditions I recommend you give purple a try, and seriously what do you have to lose with the Purple guarantee? No lol I do not work for purple either I'm just a very happily convinced customer. I have the original purple mattress and hope to one day try the new version just for the curiosity! I'm about 40 days into the trial, and I like a lot of things about this mattress. It truly does seem to relieve pressure, which is important since I've had spine surgery. It sleeps cool, and seems to provide the support I need. My partner on the other hand, is a side sleeper, and still seems to be waking up with shoulder pain. The bed is not particularly soft, so I wouldn't go in expecting that. It's firm but soft in the right places. The one issue I have is that there is still a hump through the center of the mattress, almost as if it's divided down the middle. I would expect that to have gone down after 40 days. Although I like it for the most part, I don't think this mattress will be here to stay.

I don't like this mattress. I've slept on it since the day I got it, and I've been giving it a chance for weeks and I've only gotten a backache. Sorry, but I feel like I haven't gotten my money's worth since my last mattress, which I got for free on the side of the road, is much more comfortable. Glad the company is asking for feedback.

My journey began with back and neck pain every morning. It was getting so bad it was hard to stand in the morning. I finally said enough is enough! But where do you start with so many options out there?! I mean it is seriously ridiculous! My mom brought the Purple mattress to my attention after seeing a commercial. It was one I had not checked into yet. When I went online to learn about it the commercials made me laugh...but so did the price. I continued to look at all the options and was getting frustrated. My husband was the one who urged me to really look into the Purple mattress. I read reviews, watched all the Purple videos they provide, but the youtube reviews sold me and helped me decide the Purple 3 was the one for us. Check out the reviews...you can also find reviews that compare them with other mattresses. I found it very helpful. So we took the plunge and ordered the Purple 3, the mattress protector, the platform base and received a free pillow. The pillow arrived first....let's just say it is 10.5 pounds! The first night it made my arm fall asleep because it is so heavy. But I adjusted my arm style (no longer under the pillow) and I have not looked back. Within a week my neck pain was gone! and has been for three weeks now! I am never going back to another pillow ever! It will just be odd to travel with a 10.5 pound pillow. I was getting very excited because the next week the mattress was coming. But also sick to my stomach...what if I hated the mattress?! The 100 day trial put me a little at ease. Finally the very heavy bed came, the delivery guys said it was very heavy and you could tell they struggled a little. But once it was in the room we had no problems! My first touch of the Purple mattress was interesting, because I could feel the purple matrix. After that first touch I never noticed it again. I am a back and side sleeper and my husband is a stomach sleeper and we find the Purple 3 to be perfect! Two weeks later and I have no back pain. I am also so well rested that I have not had caffeine in over a week! Never thought that would happen. I sleep soundly and so does my husband since I am not tossing and turning or waking up from over heating. This is a dream! The only down side is that I love this bed so much I don't want to get out of it and I find myself wanting to go to bed earlier and earlier. I know it has only been two weeks...but if I am already pain free I can't see it changing. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Thanks Purple!

I would love to tell you how much I love my Purple mattress, but I can't. I still don't have it. Ordered and paid (a lot) for it October 13. It is November 8th. There is no tracking. I've called customer "delight" twice and they say they have no idea when it will ship and can't give me any updates, I just need to wait for an email. And they say I will love it when I get it - that helps a lot. Sleeping on a fold out couch. Not happy with Purple people. Oh, but I got the free pillow in a week.

As the instructions say that your body needs a fe weeks to adjust and align. We have had our king purple mattress for about 4 weeks now and I tend to sleep really well on my back. It seemed to be a bit hard in the beginning. My wife and I are both getting more used to the bed but it has taken a few weeks to get over the firmness. So far so good!

I was unsure at first when I first bought the purple mattress because it feels so different. But after a few weeks I realized that this is how I should have been sleeping my whole life. I get shoulder pain from sleeping on my side, which makes me sore as well as and toss and turn. I've always slept on a soft mattress because of this, but then my back hurts from the lack of support. The purple legitimately takes away all the pain and pressure. I love this bed so much, I hate sleeping away from home, even on other "quality" mattresses. I tell everyone about how much I love this bed because people need to know what they're missing. Thank you Purple for changing the way I feel every morning.

Best sleep I have had in years. As a former athlete I have old shoulder, back, hip and knee issues most mattresses would trigger through pressure points. This is the first time in nearly ten years I have woken up feeling refreshed and not in pain. Get this if you have any old injuries!!

This mattress is amazing. SOOOOOO comfortable. I look forward to sleeping every night and hate getting up every morning. I like hard mattresses (I could sleep on a piece of plywood) so I was a little scared to get this. Fortunately it is exactly as advertised, soft but firm and supportive. Just buy it!

I love this mattress. Although it's only been about a month since I have been sleeping on it, it has helped sleep much more deeper. I don't wake up with back pain. I was in an accident in 2009 and it did a number on my back, neck and shoulders. I wake up without the aches. But my truly favorite part is that I haven't heard my husband snore since he started sleeping on this mattress. I love this mattress for this reason so much more. It's worth it. You won't regret it. Get one!
