A close friend asked, thru fb, for comfortable bed recommendations. Her recommendations ranged from Tempurpedic to Sleep Number to Ghost Bed to Casper. Purple Bed won hands down. My friend purchased one, followed by my sister, followed by me. If you buy the bed, def by the sheets.

I've struggled to find a mattress that does not bother my back. I start on my side but usually sleep on my back. For years I woke up each morning with a lower back ache. I tried several different mattresses which are now exiled to guest rooms - sorry guests. The PURPLE mattress solved any and all back aches. I now awake with no pain and a good night's sleep. Even though I had several friends and family tell me the PURPLE bed is the "bomb", I was doubting. No more. I recommend the bed to anyone. My wife is a side sleeper. I suffer from chronic pain with multiple spinal and hip issues. It used to take me hours of tossing and turning before I could fall asleep, my first night on Purple I fell asleep almost instantly. When I woke up, I wanted to cry tears of joy. My hips and back were not stiff and achy for the first time in years. I also have issues with burning up at night, and I've never slept cooler than with my Purple. I live in the Deep South and would have to turn my air down very low at night just to try to sleep. Now I can save on electricity by being able to keep it up at night. My husband also adapted quickly, within a week he was also having the best sleeps of his life and being a U.S. sailor, the time he gets to sleep is precious. I was a skeptic when my husband ordered the purple bed. I literally rolled my eyes and said you are going to get ripped off. But for the first time in our marriage I was wrong and he was right this bed is amazing it's the best purchase we've made in years! I sleep like a baby and wake up with no pain and I'm so happy that he ordered this bed!

I have had other expensive beds before and some worked great for me but not my wife. This mattress is the first one that works well for both of us. It is very different from other mattresses and takes some getting used to, but it is a great purchase overall.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how well I am sleeping on the new purple mattress, although I think that it is very important to give yourself time to adjust the difference. The change was not noticeable at first but after a few weeks now I can't imagine going back to a conventional mattress again! Almost all of my aches and pains are gone now, and I sleep through the night with no problems. This is a great product and I highly recommend it!

It took my body about 2 weeks to adjust to the Purple from my very old/worn out mattress. The mattress contours my side really well, but not my back, which may be a personal problem since I have such a high arch. This is the only reason I can't give it 5/5, since I prefer sleeping on my back. BEST FEATURE: The mattress sleeps temperature neutral!!! I used to wake up because I would get so hot, but not in my Purple! Along with bedding made with lyocell (made from plant fibers and regulates body temperature) I never wake up because I over heat.

Very comfortable mattress! Sleeps cooler, I was able to raise my bedroom temp from 68 up to 74 degrees while sleeping. For the past 20 years, I would wake to turn every two hours on my previous mattresses. I sleep soundly on the Purple mattress for as long as six hours at a time without waking to turn! Amazing! I am very happy!

I ordered the Purple mattress because I was going through serious and daily insomnia because I just couldn't get comfortable on my bed anymore. My sleep doctor suggested a new mattress because mine was getting on the old side and the Purple's marketing had left me curious about this new bed design and thought it might help with my sleeping problems. From night one I started falling asleep in probably 10 minutes or less and sleep straight through the night without waking up. I wake up refreshed and I don't have any sore body parts from being uncomfortable. Love the mattress and it's one of the best purchases I've made in a long time.
