This mattress is strange...heavy...jiggly It's unique just like everyone says. When I first lay on it I thought, "what the heck did I just buy?" The next morning I was a believer. I look forward to bed every night. I feel great in the morning, I'm falling asleep more quickly than ever, and staying asleep. I started using the free purple pillow I got - another strange looking product - because I figured I might as well try. Now all I have to say is I just bought the seat cushion. Thank you Purple for making a weird, wonderful product and marketing it well enough to get my attention.

I moved my older purple to my guest room and I got a king for me and my soon to move in significant other. Ive had almost every memory foam mattress and the purple is hands down the best. To top it off its also reasonably priced. You simply can not go wrong with a purple.

I'm morbidly obese and have degenerative disc disease. I've tried numerous mattresses and all left me with a backache in the morning. Many nights I'd sleep on one mattress for awhile, then move to a different bed because my back hurt so much and sometimes ended up in my recliner. Since I've got this mattress I sleep only on it and most mornings do not have a backache. Amazing!!!

I got to test-snuggle a purple mattress via a friend who'd bought one and let a whole party wander in and lay on it... that was a few months ago, and I knew when I was ready to buy a new bed I'd probably go that route but to my surprise, I found myself having back surgery for a longtime bad disk that was just at the end of it's abilities. Surgery was 2 months ago. When I was in the hospital my husband, worried as he was, got rid of our beds and spent about $4k on a fancy adjustable base, and tempurpedic mattress. I got home from surgery and tried to lay on it and I was miserable. The fact that it sucked me in and cradled me so perfectly made it impossible in my post-surgery state to be able to roll or readjust and I ended up spending 2 months sleeping in the recliner until my strength and rotation was totally back to normal, but even then I struggled with sleeping more than a few hours at a time on the tempurpedic. He bought the Single XL size with the intention of buying something for himself after he could confirm if that worked for me, but when we realized it wasn't going to (lucky he bought the single) I decided to buy another Single XL in the purple mattress and then we could alternate, seeing who slept best, where. For a fraction of the price... I have slept now two full nights on the purple and have zero complaints. It's not 100% pain free but I'm just 2 months out from a major spine procedure so I don't expect to be completely pain-free yet, what I am happy with though, is that I can get through a 9 hour length of time on this bed without getting up and going to the recliner. It's perfectly supportive, without aggravating pressure points--- it's perfectly squishy without sucking you into a hole you can't climb out of--- and doesn't get so hot with your body heat as to slow cook you through the night. I'm happy. I haven't been happy with very many beds in my entire life and I can say without reservation, that I'm happy with this bed. Thanks to DeeDee for introducing me to it just in time.

I had a disk rupture in my lower back while working freight at a grocery store. It caused my entire right leg to go numb, making it very difficult and painful to walk at all. So, at 22 years old, there I was going into the surgery room. A number of different life-style changes has contributed to fully recovering feeling and range of motion in my leg, however, a chronic pain managed to linger this whole time. I've had the good days, but also many bad painful days that kept me indoors and taking strong painkillers. After moving into my own place, the first piece of furniture I decided to buy was a Purple Mattress. I have been able to fall asleep fast. I wake up without PAIN! I can go on with my day without even thinking of taking a pill. I have found motivation to go on long walks and work out again. I am much more focused at work and have been able to be much more proactive. I know that might sound like too many things are happening here, but it all starts with a good night's sleep. I've had the mattress for over 3 months and I have told everyone about it. Family, friends, co workers, random people, the mail-man, EVERYONE! I want to thank everyone at Purple for giving the chance to live without chronic back pain again. Thank YOU!!!

The customer service prompts and email responses are hilarious. The real people in customer service were so helpful and genuine. We had a problem with our mattress and they solved it right away. The bed is so comfortable and the sheets are so nice. I have recommended this mattress to several of my friends.

My husband and I have been living on our couches since our baby girl was born, alternating nights up with her. We decided enough was enough and purchased a king size purple matress so we could all just sleep in the same bed. Best decision ever!! I haven't had any back pain since we got the bed and we are all sleeping so well- even little Miss! Thank you for creating the most amazing matress ever! Life SAVERS!!

every morning when I wake up it's always painful because I did have the shoulder / back problem mentioned in the purple video. To be honest in the first week my wife and I didn't really believe that purple can address the problems and I almost click the button to return it. However, it did say it might take a period of time to adjust. I listened and tried few more days, why bother, I can still return it in the next 3 months. And as you know, it's still in my lovely bedroom and we really enjoy our sleep now. Thanks purple!

I was a bit sceptical at first and did a lot of research, watched youtube video review, read reviews, etc. I decided to try it out for myself; ordering was easy, I received my mattress in under a week, easy to set up and all my bedding fits. I suffered from lower back pain and hip pain and now that I've been sleeping on my mattress for over a week, I wake up pain free! I can't believe it! The mattress is not too firm and not too soft, it's just right. I highly recommend at least trying it out for yourself; I don't think you will be disappointed!

I had a problem with my order and the folks at Purple were incredible. They fixed my problem lickety split. The mattress itself is not firm enough for me so I wake up with lower back issues. A few stretches and I am back to normal. My wife is a side sleeper and needs a mattress topper to give her enough give to sleep comfortably on her side (she is short and not too heavy). Anyway, our experience with Purple has been good. They are very accommodating, but the mattress is not for me - over a year later.
