I purchased the purple mattress after owning the harmony purple pillow because I loved it. When it came time to buy a mattress, I thought I'd give it a shot and only ordered the purple mattress and the foundation. I was disappointed because it wasn't what I expected. When you first get on it, as you make your way to the middle, you feel yourself going through the whole thing, all the way to the foundation boards. Then you lay down and it becomes a comfortable mattress since your weight is distributed nicely. But don't move or else you'll feel those boards again. Thinking about upgrading to the Hybrid Mattress after the trial period is over but it's definitely more expensive.

I am not typically one to write product reviews, especially for beds. I have never slept in a bed I found comfortable due to back and body pain. I was very skeptical about Purple but if it can cradle an egg it should craddle me. Firstly I was impressed with the honest customer communication and service. They shipped my bed quicker than quoted which was a nice surprise. Their communication detailed the process and packaging perfectly so there were so surprises when it arrived. It unpacked easily and was ready to sleep on in minutes. Bed time finally arrive and I found that I drifted off easily. The real shocker was the next morning when I awoke, I realized I hadn't move an inch in my sleep. I was afraid to move expecting the normal routine of pain and stretching. I found none, no pain no stretching. I sat up easily and was shocked my pain was gone. I look forward to sleep now with my Purple bed, and they have won a customer for life. Anyone with back pain of any kind should give this bed a try.

For over a decade I have had trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, tossing and turning throughout the night and just not feeling like I got any rest. I have tried various things over the years, including medication and a couple studies that did not solve anything. Little did I know all I needed was to buy this mattress! After a few days of adjustment I have been sleeping so much better so I would recommend this mattress to anyone.

Everything about this bed is AMAZING! We bought the mattress, bed frame, sheets, and mattresses protector. You always expect with a mattress protector to "hear it". Well you can't! Nor can I feel my husband lay down or get up. We have had the whole setup for a few weeks now and I've got to say all of the ads I've seen about Purple are true! Well besides the eggs! We haven't tried that yet! Thanks Purple!

We were in the market for a new mattress, and happen to mention it to my sister and BIL...and they told us about Purple, so we watched the videos and thought we would give it a try...especially when they guaranteed money back (with no questions)...and had a great set up with giving the mattress to someone in need if we decided we didn't want it. Sorry to say, we LOVE IT...and we are keeping it!! It met all of our requirements...firm, yet soft...provided instant relief of hip and/or shoulder issues (we are side sleepers) and it keeps me cool! Take a chance and get this now!!

The customer service is friendly and I was super excited to get this mattress... unfortunately it just isn't as comfortable as I had hoped. Perhaps I got my hopes up too high, but my husbands back pain continues to be pretty bad (with a slight improvement from our previous mattress) but shoulder pain is worse. I find myself tossing and turning more then I previously did before getting this bed. I gave it 3 stars because the company is still super friendly and the price wasn't too bad. We might end up returning the mattress if our sleep doesn't improve in the next few weeks (we've had it about 2.5 weeks).

I tried the Nectar first and it was way to firm and then returned it and bought a Purple original queen along with the harmony pillow and it was well worth the extra money!! It relieves pressure points and I'm not waking up from pain anymore only to go pee I absolutely love it!!!

I am getting used to sleeping on this new mattress, notice improvement each night, but guys working for me say there were alot of extras they received, and at a lower price for the same king bed, I think you need to annie up the extras like the seat pads and get them in the mail to me, could really use 2 of them.

I got this after watching and reading reviews from other customers as well as unbiased reviewers and decided to pull the trigger based on the overwhelmingly good feedback. I'm used to very firm beds - t I believe it states on the purple website that this mattress is a 6/10 on the firmness scale, which I think it spot on. I no longer have a stiff/sore hips or upper back with this mattress. It's comfortable in whatever position I'm in!

We purchased the Purple hoping it would end our frustration with sleeping - especially the pain I was having -, but alas, it did not. My hubby actually adjusted to it better than I did, and he would have kept it.. We ended up having to put a gel topper on it just so I could get some sleep while we waited for the new mattress to come. That being said, I have to let everyone know that their customer service was awesome!! They didn't give us any issues, they worked with us all the way, and the refund was really fast. Wish the bed would have worked out!! :(
