I ordered my first queen mattress in early 2016, and after six months I had serious trenches where my wife and I sleep. I weigh in at 170lbs, my wife at 120lbs. I'm an electrician, and my wife is a member of the US Army. safe to say both our careers are physically demanding, and we need the best sleep possible. I sent photos with weights in place of where we sleep and there was a clear three inch height difference from our sleeping spots and the center of the bed between us. It was replaced under warranty, and we got a new mattress. Unfortunately it began to have the same problems as the first. I replaced the box spring underneath with a proper tempurpedic platform, but no change. I had that mattress replaced less than a month ago, and already find myself rolling up hill to reach my wife or get out of bed. I am forced to sleep on my back instead of my side to save my shoulder from further stress. Unfortunately on my back, I snore too loud that my wife cant sleep. She's a stomach sleeper and says she wakes up with her lower back aching. Unfortunately with the money we have invested in the purchase of the original mattress, we are afraid to buy anything new, and are stuck cycling the mattresses out once the sagging becomes too much. Our plan is to save our income tax refund for a new mattress from another manufacturer. One that is much firmer in order to deter future sagging. I refuse to buy into any more bed-in-a-box companies, I mean no disrespect to the company but this bed is not for me. What is worse, is that that I get better sleep on a concrete floor during my lunch break at work.

I normally wake up every half an hour, every time I roll over, I'm a super light sleeper due to pain. Hip and back pain. I am now able to sleep for hours without moving. I've even caught myself on my back, which has been impossible for most of my life, due to pain.

I sleep on my right side every night, even if I fall asleep on my back, I'll wake up on my side by morning. I'd had a cheap foam mattress for way too long so I decided to try purple due to the claims of relieving pressure points. This unfortunately was not the case for me and some existing shoulder pain was just continually aggravated on the Purple mattress. My body did not feel adequately supported, and there was very little "sink" into the mattress. Maybe it's due to my body type and slighter stature but I just had terrible, pain riddled sleep on this mattress.

We are about 2 weeks in with our Purple 4 and so far so good! I'm giving a 1 star rating solely based on the frustration and disappointment with Purple shipping and customer service. We purchased our mattress towards the end of November and were told it would be up to 2 weeks for delivery. Our items (other than the mattress) arrived in about 1 week. We ordered 2 pillows and only received one. The invoice said there were 2 in the box but there was only one. Okay....no big deal....easily fixed with a phone call. After 2 weeks had passed I phoned Purple regarding when we would receive our mattress. I was told they weren't sure but that it would definitely be after Christmas (2 weeks over the original time frame). Okay....deep breath....annoying but I can deal. I received an email on the 17th that said delivery was scheduled for 12/26 between 3-7 and if no changes needed to be made no confirmation was necessary. Okay....sweet....can't wait! My husband took off work on the the 26th and was at home by 3. 7:00 came and went....no mattress. My husband called the delivery company and was told sorry they had it on their schedule to deliver on the 27th between 5 and 8. Okay....super annoying.....but again I can deal. The next night my husband got home early again to be at the house by 5. About 6:00 my husband decides to call just to check on the status and was told not only were we not on the list for delivery.....THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE OUR MATTRESS!!! Okay......not okay......going to erupt!! Purple had no idea what was going on. The delivery company had no idea what was going on. Everyone was sorry but no one took responsibility for our mattress (not to mention the vacation time that we used in order to be home for the delivery)!!! The morning of the 7th we were scheduled for delivery again. I got a phone call that morning stating that they could not find our mattress and would have to call us back when they found it. I felt like I was candid camera. This had to be a joke. I have never experienced such INCOMPETENCE in my life. They were able to find it a few hours later and deliver it. This was a very frustrating experience and I would not order anything from this company ever again.

I honestly love my Purple mattress. It is the most comfortable mattress I have ever laid on. I was worried at first because I am 110 lbs and read that it isn't that good for smaller people -- however, I have not have any trouble. I sink into the polymer just fine. It's really awful getting out of bed in the morning because it's so comfortable! :) However, my boyfriend, who is 225 lbs, has been complaining about some lower back pain. He sleeps on his stomach and the squishy polymer doesn't quite give him the support he needs, I guess. I told him to start sleeping with a pillow under his hips to see if it'll help, or to try changing his sleeping position. I'm not giving my Purple up, that's for sure! I will also try buying the pillow to see if that helps. So personally, for me, I adore the mattress, but he's not quite as in love with it as I am. Whatever, you're getting five stars from me, Purple! P.S. The sheets are incredible. Don't hesitate, just buy them.

My husband was skeptical about purchasing a mattress online and a mattress that he's never heard of. But I was sold when I seen the whole concept of no pressure points. I've had terrible experience with all other mattresses, especially with having arthritis. The old mattress was hard and my legs hurt because they couldn't lay flat. The purple mattress is the best thing I've ever bought. This mattress has given me the best sleep and it's super comfortable. I really felt a difference with the arthritis in my legs and arms. With the no pressure my legs lay flat and comfortable. My husband has loved this mattress and was surprised how much he actually likes it and he said this is the best mattress he's ever slept on. We like that when you're getting in or out of bed or turning at night that you cannot feel the other persons movement. One thing that was so funny was that I slept one night on the regular spring mattress after sleeping in the purple mattress and my body hurt the next day and I thought to myself why was my back hurting and then it hit me that my body is used to being on the purple no pressure mattress and that proved that there was a difference. I swear by the purple mattress I will be a purple customer for life.

I've been fighting my hips popping out of whack for a few years now as I'm a titch hard on my body 6x a week for hours upon athletic hours. Got the Purple after trying another mail-order brand, my knees ached for 2 days when I woke up which was weird but then after that, holy ca-moly I'm CURED!! No more pain and no daily hip adjustments nor flopping around on the floor every morning trying to get myself comfortable enough to get to work without road rage at slow drivers. Yiippeee and thank you thank you Purple!! Society in my area thanks you too.

I used to wake up every morning feeling like I had been beat up. I was achy sore and found it hard to get moving. First night on the purple mattress was horrible. I thought I had made a mistake. But the next night I slept like a baby. After several months, gone are the achy mornings that I used to have.

I had pain in my heavier points at hips and shoulders because I'm a side sleeper. This mattress made a huge difference and is super comfortable!! It is super heavy-and I had help unfolding it. Set up is pretty straight forward. But I dread moving anywhere and having to transport it. It was definitely worth the investment for me.

I have degenerating discs in my back and this helps me sleep better! I get the comfort and support I'm looking for! The harmony pillow is great for my neck that was injured ! Will recommend and buy again!! My toddler refuses to get out of my he's because she loves it too!
