My wife has had several back surgeries and could not get a good night's sleep. She would stay in bed late into the morning because she was not rested. Now she is up around 8, fully rested, not sore and ready to take on the day. Thank you for a great product!

My husband and I have been having neck, shoulder, and back issues for a couple years. He finally suggested we get a new bed to try and fix the issues since we had tried other ways. Within a week my neck and back pain went away, I longer had to have a doctor realign my neck, shoulders, ribs, and spin. We should have bought this bed before now.

I've been sleeping on my purple for the past 2 months and from day 1, I have been have great sleep. My back pains are no longer. I enjoy feeling the coolness of the bed and thinking about purchasing a matching pillow to add that same comfort and coolness to my head and neck. Along with the new mattress, I also purchased the bed base AND purple sheets! And let me tell you- the base is perfect. It's allowed me to store plenty of stuff underneath. The sheets are nothing short of AMAZING! super stretchy, soft, AND seriously only makes the new mattress even more comfortable. It's like sleeping on a cloud.

I read tons of reviews before making the decision to purchase the Purple bed. Even though everything I read was positive, I was still skeptical. Well, after sleeping on the bed for a couple months now, I am beyond pleased with the bed. I've had the best sleep! The worst part about leaving town now, is that I won't be sleeping on my bed. Thank you Purple for creating this amazing bed!!!

I was skeptical at first but I LOVE my new mattress so far. I'm in my 20s and fractured two vertebrae a few years ago and had trouble sleeping on my side ever since. With my new mattress I can finally sleep on my back and side and still get spine support where I need it. Definitely recommend.

I'll say first of all that I believe each person sleeps better on different types of mattresses. I don't think there's one mattress that's best for everyone. That said, Neither my wife nor I got anything close to a good night's sleep on our Purple for three straight nights, and we returned it afterwards simply because we couldn't keep going like that. We truly needed to get more sleep, and we've never experienced that in any mattress before. The Purple was much more firm than we expected, even with stretchy sheets. I don't hold it against Purple very much that we didn't sleep well on the mattress, and delivery was pretty fast, and the return process was easy and painless. The packaging is another story. Our previous mattress was a Casper, which we also returned, as it was surprisingly firm as well. I took a video of the Casper setup, and it literally took three minutes from being in the delivery packaging to being on the bed, inflated, and ready to lie down. The Purple comes in way too much plastic. It was easily 15 minutes to wrestle through all the overlapping layers of plastic wrapping, and was a much more physical process to get it out of the plastic and laid out on the foundation. The bag it ships in (which hopefully is recyclable, in spite of the big zipper) looks disturbingly like a body bag. There was definitely a smell, which disappeared after a few days. I don't mind it personally, but my wife did very much. As I said, the whole experience was pretty painless, and I applaud the way companies like Purple are cutting out the ridiculous mattress stores from the process. This one just wasn't for us.

I feel compelled to write a review, even as there are thousands out there already. I'm a side sleeper with very broad shoulders, and a touch of scoliosis. I've had trouble getting comfortable for as long as I can remember, waking up with back and shoulder pain. While I can't say that this mattress has magically solved all my problems, it is by far the most comfortable and supportive mattress I've ever slept on. When I lie down at night, I get the sense that I'm lying on some futuristic spaceship mattress. The grid design is mushy and supportive at the same time. I also purchased the king size purple pillow, which is the first time I've ever felt comfortable sleeping on a single pillow.. usually a king size large pillow is too big and jacks up my neck, or I wind up using a 2-3 smaller pillows to try and build a bridge for my bottom arm to go through. I did my research for both pillows and mattress, read reviews, did price comparisons.. I almost went with a tempurpedic for twice the price, I'm very glad I didn't.. This design, for me.. is absolutely superior to memory foam. I'm very stoked on this mattress and would highly recommend it. Delivery was fine, took about a week (or two?)... I got the included sheets which are good, as the bottom fitted sheet fits snugly. I would have been really impressed if Purple included a king pillow case, to match my pillow.. but that's fine. So far, I'm very pleased and satisfied with this mattress and the service I've received from Purple.

Its a 5 star rating on the bed but 4 star on the delivery patterns. My bed arrived yesterday, my sheets will arrive today but my bed frame is still being processed, I personally think the bed and frame should be sent together or at least send the frame first but it is what it is. I usually wake up with a ton of back pain but today it was very moderate which was probably just from being on the floor. Very soft bed and just the fact that I no longer have to feel my wife flop around on the bed is worth it to me, I think last night was the first night neither one of us tossed and turned tho. My wife is in the military and also suffers back pain and she fell asleep (no lie) with a smile on her face. No regrets so far on this bed.

After having the typical experience of someone who watched the videos online and said I didn't need expert installation, once the bed was all set up, inflated, and had bedding put on, I sat down. I was immediately disappointed. I sank way too low, but I had already put the old mattress outside and it was raining, there was no turning back. A few hours later I decided it was time to go to bed and I climbed in. It was completely different than sitting! My weight was evenly distributed, by joints were supported, and it felt like heaven. I slept hard that night, and haven't had much trouble falling asleep since I got it.

Iv always has really bad sleep problems but ever since Iv gotten my purple mattress I am able to STAY asleep. Definitely worth the money as I don't wake up with back pain anymore. The only thing I was disappointed in was it doesn't really keep me cool during the night. I still get hot in bed but it might just be the hot weather right now.
