I weigh 330 lbs and feel like I am sleeping on the box spring. I had a family emergency that I had to take care of so I was away for a few months right after I got the mattress so I missed my 100 night trial mark and after I contacted customer service they said they can't refund me because I missed the trial period but I shouldn't be sleeping on the box spring and they think I have a defective mattress. They sent me a replacement mattresse and I am still feeling the same way and waking up every morning with a broken back and very stiff neck! When I told my customer service rep (Paige l) that it is still the same she said it's only a matter of preference and my mattress is doing what it is supposed to. I can't sleep like this anymore I am a very unhappy customer and would really appreciate it if someone got back to me on this matter. I don't think you guys have a bad mattress my wife who is not over weight loves it. I just personally think it is not compatible with my weight. Please have someone get in touch with me about this and make things right.

Still getting used to purple mattress.Not a big fan of the sheets design.its like wrinkled material because the are not cut and sewn for the right size I have a queen the sheets say the fit a full or queen took two of us to put on not tailored neetly.

We are still trying to decide if we want to keep this mattress, it is comfortable, especially on your back, but when I roll over, or sit on the edge, the depth isn't great, I can feel the platform frame underneath me. It would be perfect if it was 2-4 thicker...

The Purple mattress keeps its shape. It is comfortable and does not get too warm on hot nights. This is my second one. I bought another for my guest room. We plan to buy a third for our attached apartment. I also highly recommend the mattress cover as well.

We have been sleeping on our new Purple mattress for about a month now. We love it. I think it is soft enough, my husband thinks it is firm enough. I still have times that the mattress is hot, but that could be due to the fact that we are not using the purple mattress cover as Purple is out of stock for the California king size. I have recommended the mattress to anyone who will listen.

A year ago I bought an expensive posturepedic mattress as I have a lot of trouble sleeping due to back problems. I tried several as I hoped to reduce the amount of pain I would wake up to regularly. Unfortunately, it did not solve my interrupted sleep problem. I would roll over constantly because the mattress put pressure on different areas of my back creating a lot of discomfort. A friend of mine had shown me an ad for Purple several years earlier. We both agreed it looked great, but were uncertain about making the purchase as neither of us knew anyone who had the mattress. I was hurting so much each night and could feel the spots my current mattress was pressing hard against me, that I decided to give it a try. With the guarantee, I really had nothing to lose. I felt it would be worth trying if only to feel less pain and pressure So I could get closer to having uninterrupted sleep. I purchased the mattress, platform, and stretchy bamboo sheets and waited. The sheets came in first, making me very happy as they would be here when the mattress came in. The mattress came in shortly after. I was okay that the platform was coming in later as I set it up as I planned on my old box spring base. I got a delivery notification in an email and left work for an hour to set it up. I was very hopeful and kind of excited to see if it would really help. I tried to keep my expectations down as I know you need to try out a bed for about a month or so to really see if it is right for you. That first night was amazing. I don't even remember falling asleep, and didn't wake up during the night either. I slept through the night for the first time since longer than I can remember. I woke up stiff, but expected that as I do a lot of physical work, but there was no pain. It was the first time in many years I can remember waking up without pain. I couldn't believe it. I called my friend and told him how great it was. I called my mom and my sister and told them as well. I knew it was too early to be fully convinced that this mattress would really be the answer I was looking for, but at least I had hope. I've been sleeping on the mattress for a month now and every night is as good as the first one. I have slept up to eight hours in a night and that has not happened in as far back as I can remember. I can't say if this mattress will do for you what it has done for me, but it really has become the answer I was looking for when it comes to a good nights sleep. I have had back problems and leg pain for a while now and the plush Beauty Rest mattress that we have been sleeping on was apparently too soft and it was time to try something else. So far the standard purple mattress has eliminated most of my leg pain that was developing overnight with the Beauty Rest and I am not tossing around as much. Any improvement is great as far as I am concerned. Should be nice this summer with the way the Purple sleeps noticeably cooler. Thumbs up!

We bought this mattress after we lost everything in a flood and had to replace our pillow top mattress and sleigh bed we had just purchased. We were kind of skeptical about it at first since it was quite a difference from what we were used to. We have now had this mattress and metal base for almost 4 years now and have never had a more comfortable bed ever. We will never go back to a conventional mattress again! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great night sleep!

My husband and I both have bad, achy backs. My husband, unfortunately, would be up in the middle of the night taking hot showers to relieve the pain. I am happy to say that in the last month his nightly showers have been reduced to once or twice a week. Still not perfect, but I trust Purple will get him there! We couldn't have made a better choice on a new mattress. Thanks Purple!
