After cracking a vertebrae and rupturing a disc back in '98 while in the Marine Corps, I found that it was impossible for me to sleep on my back without a pillow under my knees. I spent years struggling to sleep without pain, and after countless different mattresses I tried Purple. When I first got it I expected it to be no different than any of the others... needless to say I was completely blown away the first time I slept on it. For the first time in nearly 20 years I would stretch out entirely on my back with no pillow under my knees and no pain. In fact I fell asleep almost instantly and slept through the entire night, and every night following... something that rarely happened in the past. For anyone with back pain or injuries, I definitely suggest Purple for both its support and comfort.

By myself it's the best mattress I've ever slept on. But the problem comes when my girlfriend stays the night the mattress creates like this V so we kind of slide towards each other, I'm guess because of our total combined weight. (Neither one of us are real skinny)

I wanted a purple mattress for years. We had an old Tempurpedic which felt like heaven. But I started having aches and pains in the morning after a few years and really bad lower back pain. We tried a couple mattresses but they felt too stiff or too soft. Finally I convinced my husband to give Purple a try. But after a couple of nights I had some doubts because hearing that peoples back pain goes away. Mine did not. My husband fell in love with the mattress as well and urged me to wait a little longer before returning it. After reading the forums and understanding that sometimes it takes more than 30 days to adjust to it, I waited. And YES!!!! We have the mattress now for over 2 months and I am pain free!!! I ❤️ my Purple 2 bed so much that I tell everyone about it. My bed came in a large purple burrito package with 2 eye masks, and a sample of the rubber grid technology that my friend thought was a table coaster. When I lay on the bed, I fall asleep quickly. I get deeper sleep in less hours. Best of all is it supports pressure points and helps with circulation. My plantar fascitis disappeared after the first night. It is soft and feels like jello. I did not know what the big deal was about a "supportive" mattress, until I felt this one. It makes a huge difference in my sleep, posture, and well being. I will never go back to a regular matress again. It helps to have 2 people to move it or put a zipped mattress protector on it because it is heavier than a regular mattress. I bought a purple pillow and seat cushion shortly after acquiring the mattress. The Purple technology really WORKS!

I'm a 31 year old Service Technician for John Deere. I hurt my back about a month ago and realized my old mattress wasn't doing me any favors recovering. Still trying to get used to the mattress. It's been about 2 weeks. It is quite different and I'm still not completely used to it yet. And for anyone thinking about using the Splitit purchase option, I strongly suggest you avoid. It charges your card the monthly payment, it authorizes the remaining balance every 21 days, even though the payments are due monthly. And if the authorization does not go through, you have 6 days to make sure authorization will get approved, EVEN THOUGH the main payment is due every 30 days. It's almost as much a cluster as my attempt at explaining!

I purchased this for my son. Who is a truck driver for US Xpress. He's also a military veteran with back problems. USX gave him a free mattress which he used for nearly a year but found it made his back problems worsen. Since he has gotten this mattress he has not made mention to his back pain and when I ask him, he says it's completely gone. Thank you so much Purple!!

Best sleep! Daughter ordered a mattress while in Maryland at beginning of pandemic for me when I got stuck there at her house. I was there for two months on it before I could returned to Alabama. Got home and turned around and ordered me one for my bed! Best thing I've ever slept onT Thank you!

This Mattress feel comfortable when lying on your back. When i tried to sleep on my side it give me shoulder and hip pain. I am using a stretchy cover so it can stretch with my weight on it but the result is still the same. Something is wrong under the top surface, either the mattress is too thin or the bottom foundations is too hard. Deciding to returned.

Finally, I am waking up refreshed! My old mattress was obviously awful. I used to wake up through out the night. I would then awaken, for the day, feeling very achy and tired. The Purple mattress is fantastic! I am no longer in pain and I feel well rested!
