We love the bed! The only thing that could have been a problem was the delivery. My wife and I were able to get the mattresses into the bedroom but the split adjustable bases were so heavy. Seriously we thought that the delivery was to the bedroom but the driver would only take them to the door. If we had been any older we couldn't have been able to get them into our bedroom. I think it would be a good idea to mention that these are extremely heavy and only come to the front door. They really should have two strong delivery guys set up the bed. It would've made it so much nicer. We still love our new bed though.

We have been sleeping on our new Purple mattress for about a month now. We love it. I think it is soft enough, my husband thinks it is firm enough. I still have times that the mattress is hot, but that could be due to the fact that we are not using the purple mattress cover as Purple is out of stock for the California king size. I have recommended the mattress to anyone who will listen.

I've been sleeping on my original purple mattress for about 3 weeks now. Every time I sit or lie down on it angels blow their trumpets somewhere as I rejoice in the incomparable comfort. Both my wife and I are obsessed with it. We sleep different, but it's great for side and back sleepers. Also, the lower back pain I've felt with for awhile is slowly leaving me. Don't get me wrong, our previous mattress was a piece of garbage, but the purple is simply extraordinary.

I bought Purple after trying another mail order mattress which was highly rated and was memory foam promoted to sleep cool. It did not. The Purple does sleep cooler than the previous trial mattress and cooler than the standard innerspring mattress that I had previously. I could use something that is even cooler still, but in the cool department, I don't think there's anything out there that would beat Purple.

I have had this wonderful mattress for 1.5 years now so it's been given a good test run. At first I didn't have a proper bed to rest Purple on. It was a simple metal frame with 1"x6" pieces of wood laid across to support Purple. Even with such unsupported beginnings Purple didn't let me down! It has always provided back support and a comfy cushion for these broad shoulders while side sleeping. First time in years that I've woken up to the complete full feeling in my arms not pins and needles reminding me I should not be a side sleeper. Now Purple has a proper "Adult" bed providing it full support and I can honestly say that it's even more supportive then before! Even my boyfriend, who's mattress I lovingly refer to as the "hole", noticed a difference and now he even sleeps better at my place. When given the opportunity my dog even sleeps better on Purple, one day he may have his own Purple. As a person that loves her sleep Purple is my idea of what bed awesomeness should be!!

I have tried a couple of other well-known, name brand 'rolled in a box' beds and find them too hard. I am a side sleeper and this bed is absolutely perfect! It's soft so there are no pressures on my hips and it's apparently firm enough so I never wake up with aches and pains. I've been eyeing this mattress for a long time and I'm SO happy I took the plunge! I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a softer mattress. Thank you Purple!

I love the mattress. I'm 13 years old and my Mom and Dad bought this for me. My girlfriends are all envious that I have this wonderful mattress. I hate getting out of bed in the morning because it's so comfortable. Thank you for making such a great product!

We bought this mattress because our old one was so soft and we couldn't get out of the indentations we'd made in the bed. That "old" one lasted only about 4 years. Normal wear and tear and it just couldn't hold up. So far the Purple mattress is great. I like sleeping on my side but with shoulder injuries in the past it made each night a toss and turn affair. Now with Purple I rarely have to switch sides due to shoulder pain. Even my wife loves it so far.

I am pleased with my purchase and it is by far he most comfortable bed I've slept on in my life. However, it doesn't feel overwhelmingly comfortable it just feels like it was designed correctly. Like it hits all the targets most beds don't. I do experience lower back discomfort if I sleep in it for too long, but significantly less than other beds. So I guess that must be a normal thing. What I like most is that it doesn't make any noise, and feels very stable. Any impact or weight you put into it just absorbs instantly without bounce back and that's really cool. I'm only on my second week with it so it will probably get even better with more time.

I've had my Original Purple Mattress for a little over a month now. I had done plenty of research, looked at countless reviews, purchased other mattresses that didn't work out, and ultimately decided Purple was the way I needed to go. Now, I know that there are the newer versions with the different comfort levels, but I decided with all the positive reviews for the Original and people saying how wonderful and life changing that one was, what was the need to go with the upgraded models? I also decided to purchase the Platform Base to replace my old box spring and the mattress protector to protect my investment. I have to say, the Platform base is fantastic. It really does support the mattress all the way around, so no matter where you are on the mattress it all feels the same... no more sinking in the middle from sitting or laying down (I'm 200+ pounds and slightly bottom heavy - I have quite a bit of legs, butt, and thighs to support). The mattress protector was a little different than what I was expecting. This one has a little more of a plastic/liner feel, but you adjust to it pretty quickly, so no big deal. It doesn't make you slide around or anything. Now to the mattress - here's where I have not been the happiest. The first couple of nights were brutal and I thought I had made a huge mistake at that point, but I kept hoping and being positive and knew that there would be an adjustment period for my body. Fast forward a month and I can't say that I am entirely happy with my mattress, even now with the adjustment period I've given it. I spend a lot of time in bed (I love my sleep and I work from home quite a bit, so quite often work gets done while sitting in bed) and to be honest I'm just very disappointed in the mattress overall. I still toss and turn quite a bit throughout the night, so I'm not getting the best of sleep. The mattress is not very thick, so with the combination of being on the Platform Base and being a chunky girl - I feel sometimes like I'm sleeping on the floor because I can feel the Base through the bed. The only positive so far is that I'm not sleeping as hot as I was before. The combination of having the Base with the mattress allows for quite a bit of air circulation, which is awesome. I don't know if I just had too high of expectations or what, but at this point, I'm still trying to decide if I want to return the mattress or just deal with it. It's quite a bit of money put out for something I'm not entirely happy with. I was so looking forward to experiencing that melt into your mattress, sleeping on a cloud feeling because it's just so darn comfortable, and instead I just keep getting more and more disappointed each day.
