My husband and I have only been sleeping on the purple mattress a short time, but long enough to know this is the mattress for us. It is so comfortable and when I lie down, the mattress almost feels like I'm suspended in air. We love, love, love the Purple Mattress.

After we got the Purple mattress it took me only one night to fall in love with it and feel so much better. It took my wife about a week. Both of us now are sleeping better and our bodies feel so much better in the morning. Also, our dog Piper loves it to.

This is simple... I would wake up with back pain and wake up every few hours. Unable to sleep all night. I got this mattres after lots of research. I am happy to report that I am able to sleep all night, I wake up refreshed and look forward to my bed every night since I know I can now sleep

Bed is fine. That's it. Sheets are stretchy and never stay with you. Really annoying. Mattress protector works but makes the bottom sheet drag with your body then snap back into place. Annoying. Bed frame is quiet. Pillows are awful. Wrong height. Tell you to put a towel/another pillow under your pillow. Seriously? Seat cushion is definitely a waste. Great until you sit on the edge. Look at your car seat or office chair. Notice how your seat cushion doesn't look anything like those? Nothing ships at the same time, so you'll sit there with pieces you can't use for a week at a time. Don't care about customer experience at all. Customer service personalized their service only to tell you that "we told you everything ships separately". They seem to be better when you call, but overall, this company understand things in pieces but not the whole. Like great individual products that work together poorly. Or great ads but poor customer service. Perhaps some day they will organize and evolve. Most companies don't. And for now, that's why I'll buy something else.

My wife and I are in our 60's. We are Jack Sprat in reverse. She is slim (5'4", 117 lbs) and I am fairly tall & husky (6', 216 lbs). We had an old Sleep Number bed and had both started having back aches. My side was getting to be like a hammock. My side of the mattress had a slow leak so the middle would sink throughout the night. When we got the Purple mattress, my wife immediately liked it and it helped her get a better night's sleep. But I had a hard time adjusting. I took the foam cushioning from under the Sleep Number bed and put on top of the Purple mattress for a week or two then I went back to sleeping on the Purple mattress. I have finally gotten to the point where I can get 6 or 7 hours' sleep before the aches start to keep me from sleeping anymore. Purple cannot reverse the aging process, but it helps make it go a bit better. The Purple sheets are outstanding. We really enjoy them. They are stretchy and have a great feel to them. We had similar experiences with our Purple seat cushions as with our Purple mattress. My wife has a big cushy office chair and has been battling sciatica and lower back issues for several years. I have a Herman Miller office chair that I like pretty well but I sit long hours and get normal aches in the hind-end associated with sitting for too long. So when the Good Lord was telling me to get off my hind-end more often, I decided instead to get a Purple seat cushion, the Royal. My wife got the Ultimate. She still has the lower back issues but the Purple cushion is better than the many other options she has tried. The Royal Purple cushion does not feel much better than my mesh Herman Miller seat and it elevates me so the back is too low and the lumbar region is in the wrong place. My seat cushion was not wasted, though. My wife uses it on her other chairs. Purple people have been very good to deal with. They had a big promotion around Thanksgiving 2016 and incurred a significant back-log. And that leads to my only issue with Purple policy they charged our card right away, but it took a couple of weeks to get our mattress shipped (sooner than their estimate, though), a month to ship the sheets, and 1-1/2 months to ship the seat cushions.

My husband and I are SOOO happy with our purple bed. We sleep well, have no aches and pains like we used to have, don't disturb each other with movements (even though we downsized from king to queen due to a smaller house), and are so comfy. We loved that it was shipped right to our home too. My kids are so jealous and can't wait until they start making a full size! Plus, since we bought the mattress and bed frame they threw a comfy seat cushion too! So fun!

For the last several months, I have been dealing with lower back pain getting out of bed in the mornings. My wife and I decided that it was finally time to replace our mattress of 8-9 years but felt that going into a store - which is the norm mostly - and laying on a mattress fully clothed for 5-10 minutes really doesn't tell you how good/bad the mattress feels and how you'll sleep or feel in the morning when you wake up. My wife and I also have different preferences (soft vs hard, etc.) and so we began looking at custom mattresses where we could each get our own support type. We stumbled across The Purple mattress and loved the funny corny videos. Being a chemist myself, I also loved the science that went into the bed. We purchased the mattress and a set of the sheets and never have I felt so supported laying in bed. While the top layer of polymer definitely feels different than other mattresses, I like it much better - especially how quickly it bounces back. Memory foam doesn't respond like that. The mattress supports me (250 lb) very comfortably regardless of when I'm laying on my back or my side. All in all, a great mattress that we're looking forward to sleeping on for a number of years. Love that it ships straight to your door as well.

This mattress is funky in color and texture but it is without doubt the most comfortable, supportive, and temperature controlled mattress upon which I've ever slept. No more sweaty legs or cricks in the neck. I recommend this to every person who has the luxury of affording a mattress.

I've tried this internet mattress and another one, and the other one was great too but this one is perfect. The delivery experience was great, and it wasn't too tough to set up solo (I'm a single lady and did it myself with no issues, though I was aided by quite a few glasses of wine).

Omg! I truly am in love with this mattress. It is so soft and comfortable that it takes me a couple of minutes to go to sleep. It's soft but firm enough to support my back and not have aches and pain. I would recommend this bed to everybody it is truly amazing.
