Order, delivery and unpacking were a breeze really easy concept. As for my first 30 days on the mattress is still something I'm weighing. I bought the whole package pillow, bed, sheets, and frame/stand, all of which are very comfortable to lay on. My one issue and possibly deal breaker to return, is that you can feel the metal bed frame/stand when you sit or stand on the bed. Concentrated points of impact, like thin ice, if you don't evenly distribute the weight you will feel the frame or "break the ice". But I can say the bed and pillow are "cool" in temp. Again still weighing my final decision on the 100 day money back. Hope this was helpful.

Great product, love sleeping on it. I held back a star because: A: It's super heavy and a bit difficult to get in place (especially up stairs). B: That's a whoooooole lot of plastic packaging that we're supposed to throw out, wish it was a little more earth-friendly.

I am a disabled veteran with severe lower back pain. Laying on my new mattress the first time was amazing. The support for my back kept it in a neutral position and eased the pain immediately. I will always have pain but this mattress helps tremendously. Before on my old spring mattress getting up in the morning was extremely painful. There were times I couldn't stand up straight for some time. With the purple mattress I have no problems getting up in the morning. Again like I said I will always have some pain but this mattress has made a huge difference in my sleep and mobility. With a 100 day trial period what's to lose!? I'm sold and will never go back to a spring mattress.

First night of the purple mattress, the first thing I noticed is that this bed is much firmer than what I had imagined. I would not call this a medium bed, that seems like a lie. It is however very supportive and the gel grid is NICE. It is cooling and kept me comfortable all night. We will see how long it lasts however. But currently giving it a 4 star review. Could turn into a 5 star if it continues to give me support for my lower back issues.

I sleep very well on this mattress - I think my only hesitancy towards giving it a full five stars is the egg crate feel to the top. I'm sure this is what makes it such a wonderful mattress and my desire for a 'traditional feel' would take away from the effect but it makes it less desirable getting into a bed that feels like an egg carton.

My wife and I are in our 60's. We are Jack Sprat in reverse. She is slim (5'4", 117 lbs) and I am fairly tall & husky (6', 216 lbs). We had an old Sleep Number bed and had both started having back aches. My side was getting to be like a hammock. My side of the mattress had a slow leak so the middle would sink throughout the night. When we got the Purple mattress, my wife immediately liked it and it helped her get a better night's sleep. But I had a hard time adjusting. I took the foam cushioning from under the Sleep Number bed and put on top of the Purple mattress for a week or two then I went back to sleeping on the Purple mattress. I have finally gotten to the point where I can get 6 or 7 hours' sleep before the aches start to keep me from sleeping anymore. Purple cannot reverse the aging process, but it helps make it go a bit better. The Purple sheets are outstanding. We really enjoy them. They are stretchy and have a great feel to them. We had similar experiences with our Purple seat cushions as with our Purple mattress. My wife has a big cushy office chair and has been battling sciatica and lower back issues for several years. I have a Herman Miller office chair that I like pretty well but I sit long hours and get normal aches in the hind-end associated with sitting for too long. So when the Good Lord was telling me to get off my hind-end more often, I decided instead to get a Purple seat cushion, the Royal. My wife got the Ultimate. She still has the lower back issues but the Purple cushion is better than the many other options she has tried. The Royal Purple cushion does not feel much better than my mesh Herman Miller seat and it elevates me so the back is too low and the lumbar region is in the wrong place. My seat cushion was not wasted, though. My wife uses it on her other chairs. Purple people have been very good to deal with. They had a big promotion around Thanksgiving 2016 and incurred a significant back-log. And that leads to my only issue with Purple policy they charged our card right away, but it took a couple of weeks to get our mattress shipped (sooner than their estimate, though), a month to ship the sheets, and 1-1/2 months to ship the seat cushions.

It is worth it to spend the money and get a nice comfortable bed, it really makes a difference. No matter how stressed out my day is I know as soon as I hit the bed I will sleep soundly and wake up refreshed! I am a side sleeper ad this is the first bed I have every had where I don't get those pain points in my hip and shoulder from laying on my side. We spend so many hours in bed and we NEED sleep and I think everyone NEEDS this bed, Thank you Purple!!!

Let me start by saying that I'm a very sensitive person when it comes to mattresses. I sleep horribly when on vacation or staying at a friend's house. I did mounds of research and spent over a year before deciding on a Purple mattress. It is the single best decision I've ever made in my life! I don't wake up in pain anymore, I sleep through the night. I no longer wake up from being too hot or too cold. This mattress is perfect. I actually look forward to going to bed at night. Have had the king size Purple mattress for about 60 days. My wife and I love it! Previously, my wife had been having restless sleep and waking up w/ back pains. But for last 60 days, no more pains in morning and she has been sleeping well. For myself, I've been sleeping comfortably and waking up w/out being tired. Also I enjoy how cool the mattress is. I took about 2-3 months researching mattress before deciding on Purple. We made the right choice! If you're on the fence, go w/ Purple!

A close friend asked, thru fb, for comfortable bed recommendations. Her recommendations ranged from Tempurpedic to Sleep Number to Ghost Bed to Casper. Purple Bed won hands down. My friend purchased one, followed by my sister, followed by me. If you buy the bed, def by the sheets.
