I received my Purple matress four days ago, and was prepared for a 30 day adjustment period before getting used to the mattress. I rarely write reviews, but was compelled to write this one because I am beyond thrilled about this find. I slept like a baby from Day one. I was experiencing back pain upon awakening, for the past three months. The first morning after the mattress arrived, and each morning since, I wake up completely pain free!!!!

I have been sleeping on my Purple mattress for about 2 months now. All I can say is that I have been sleeping better than I ever have. As someone that has had 2 back surgeries I have had a hard time finding a bed that works for me, but at 2 months in I am very happy with it. It claimed to be soft and firm. It is, contouring to my body completely. This is the first time in years I wake up and my back is completely relaxed. Claimed to be temperature neutral. It is. I also tend to get hot at night causing me to wake up and roll over constantly. That has not been an issue at all. I do love the mattress. I do have a few tips though. I have tried out a few types of sheets and they do make a difference. A set of 300 thread count cotton sheets were soft, but due to their lack of elasticity you do not get the full benefit of the mattress. I also decided to try the Purple sheets. They are softer and breath better than the 300 thread cotton sheets. Also because they stretch more, the mattress is able to support better. I highly recommend the Purple sheets, regardless if you got the bed or not. They would work well on any mattress and just feel amazing. I have run into 2 issues though. 1. The base I also ordered at the same time as the mattress took 5 weeks longer to ship than the mattress. So I had the giant Purple burrito taunting me for over a month before I was able to open it and enjoy my new bed. 2. For the first time ever. I do not want to get out of bed in the morning. Normally when I wake up I get right out of bed. Now I am so comfortable I have to motivate myself to move on to my day. Not a bad problem to have.

This is the first mattress I've bought at this price range. It is taking much longer to break in than I expected, it's still stiff and I'm stiff waking up with back pain, although it's not as bad compared to the last mattress. At this price range I would have expected a lot more out of it. The only reason I wouldn't give it three stars is because I don't have much to compare it to.

After my back fashion surgery my medical team suggested I buy a new mattress. After doing some research and with the recommendation from my medical team I purchased the Purple mattress. I have slept so good each night. I do not wake up in the middle of the night anymore. It is an amazing mattress. I highly recommend it.

The online ad campaign caught my eye, and I ordered... and crossed my fingers. The mattress, sheets and frame system has changed my sleeping habits- drastically! I sleep better and longer, and my regular morning back pain was gone the first morning- and never returned. My wife LOVES the bed too. Thanks, science-- and thanks Purple!

I knew from the moment I unraveled this baby from its package it was going to change my life. I've had this mattress for about two months now. It is impossible to get out of bed.. not because I'm not well rested but because it is so dang comfortable. I've recommended this mattress to everyone I've come into contact with. I am so happy with my purchase, you will be too.

My husband and I have been sleeping on our Purple mattress for only a month and we LOVE it. We've got an eleven-month-old, and good sleep is crucial. We've noticed falling asleep more quickly and more deeply since making the switch. I also can't feel his jumpy, restless legs anymore! I HIGHLY recommend the Purple mattress.

I had my previous mattress for 13 years and had no idea had much pain it was causing me to have in my back. I was not sure about the Purple mattress at first because it felt completely different from my previous mattress but I quickly grew fond of my new bed. My wife says I snore abnormally loud and wakes me up a few times a month trying to get me to turn a different way to stop the snoring. The couch was no longer going to be an option after sleeping on the Purple mattress so I purchased a 2nd Purple just for myself. I love my Purple mattress and recommend anybody in the market for a new mattress to give it a try!

I had a decent bed, but it wore out. So, I tried the Leesa. It didn't work out. Next, I tried the Loom & Leaf, that was actually worse than the Leesa. The Purple; first time in longer than I can remember I woke up and got out of bed with no pain. It is, by far, the very best mattress I have ever slept on. Better than any hotel, better than a waterbed even. So, if you are searching for the right mattress, stop. Get the Purple. Oh, and the bamboo sheets? So very, very nice!!!

Maybe one day Purple technology will invent a solution for my husbands snoring, but outside of that, this bed has answered to so many of our sleeping issues. We both sleep differently. I am a side sleeper and he is a back sleeper, but we both have found the Purple to be both comfortable and supportive. Delivery said 1-2 weeks, but it arrived in 4 days! Unpacking was straight forward and comes with a little razor that easily and safely cuts the plastic packaging. Once the packaging is taken off, it unrolls immediately. Heads up, This mattress is one big, heavy, floppy object so please have a friend or partner help you. You'd need a lot more than just an awesome mattress to sort your spine back out if done alone.
