Over the past 5 years, my husband and I have had 3 different mattresses including the sleep number trying to find something that we both liked and could get a good nights sleep on. We finally bought the purple mattress and it has been wonderful!! we both sleep great and we don't overheat at night, which had been a problem before.

Compared to other beds, Purple is definitely softer and feels way better than your average spring mattress. When you touch or push on the top layer it feels soft but when you're laying on it, it's comfortable yet also contorts to your body and is firmer. An example of this is how you could lay on your back and the mattress would raise up to meet the curve of your spine while other mattresses may leave you with a gap. There is also a mattress smell for the first few days but that quickly passes. Installation is also easy as the package comes with a cutter for the vacuum sealed plastic that works amazingly. Overall I'd say that if you have the money and/or don't mind spending a little extra, Purple is definitely a great choice. If you're not too keen on the price however, I'd say it's something you can live without.

As the title says this is a great mattress. I went with this version after trying it out at a Mattress Firm store. Since I have had this bed I have not woken up with back pains. I really think you need to match the right mattress to your needs, and for those with a low rating for this I think you just got the wrong version of the purple mattress for your body's needs. Anyway I paired it with a Sven and Son adjustable frame that I bought threw Sleep Geeks, and I love it. I also would like to say sleep geeks is an amazing company! I couldnt ask for more. I also bought there sheets and mattress protector. There mattress protector is great quality but I think it takes away from the softness of the bed. But I'm still going to use it since it is so nice and only changes the feel a little. But there sheets are the best I've ever had. Thank you purple for giving me the beat night sleep I could ask for!!!!

Have my doubts when I purchase this mattress. My old mattress is about 10 years old. I was due for a new mattress. Went to several top name brand stores it was not very pleased with what they had. Seen those crazy commercials that purple. Asked a couple my service friends and one of them recommended it for me he said it was one of the best mattress he ever bought so I looked at a lot of different reviews I said why not let's give it a try. I can truly say I'm not the satisfied at all I recommend this mattress to anybody. Another note I love to try their other products but another note I believe they're too expensive for there other items just hoping one day they give me a a promotion that I can't refuse but to get more of their items.

Getting used to sleeping on the Purple mattress took some getting used to, merely since it felt more like nothing was actually beneath me. It was supportive in just the right spots and at the right amount that it just felt as the bed vanished. It's been letting my spine relax more so my lower back pain has been slowly easing as well.

Only about a month into purchasing the purple bed but it's been nothing but bliss sleeping on this mattress. My sore neck and back pain went away in 2 nights. I am an athlete and weight 205 so I needed a bed with great support and I have found it so far. This bed is like no other. Might feel firm the moment you lay on it but I assure you it's what your body needs. Customer for life now.

I replaced an old spring mattress that I was using for over 10 years with a Queen sized Purple Mattress. There is an adjustment period as your body gets used to sleeping on the mattress. My lower back had some soreness which has reduced overtime as I've slept on the mattress more. It is a very unique feeling but I have to say that my experience so far has been positive. The bed is a little more firmer than I was expecting but I find that it helps support my back. I've never owned a mattress that had foam or any other type of material so I have nothing else to compare it to. I've had issues with my old mattress where I would be tossing and turning to find a comfortable position to sleep. It also got really hot. The Purple Mattress has resulted in me getting more comfortable sleep while also keeping my body temperature cool. As the instructions and guide videos state, it is advised that you have a friend or someone else to help you move this mattress and set it up. This thing is heavy.

The Purple mattress is amazing. I used to have a mattress that was too firm and unforgiving. I'd wake up stiff and sore, so I knew I had to try something new. I liked the idea that Purple's original mattress doesn't have springs and molds to your body. Since it adjusts to my body I can sleep comfortably no matter what position I'm in. My joints are much happier. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone wanting to make a change. You shouldn't wake up in pain. The mattress isn't cheap but it's an investment in your health.

I'm 2 months shy of my 71st birthday and I've never slept better than I have since my mattress arrived 4 days ago. I purchased the basic mattress, 2 harmony pillows, the all-season duvet, purple sheets, and mattress cover. I feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud. My son has been recommending purple for several years and I'm so pleased that I finally took the plunge. One of the best investments I've ever made! Thank you, Purple!!!

Our bed before was a queen hand down, approximately 15 years old. When we got the purple, my first impressions were rthday it seemed smaller (less room for my husband and I) and that it was cooler. I still woke every day with terrible back pain, plus my arms were going numb when I laid on my back on the purple mattress. I was generally dissatisfied for the first 45 days or so, but as time has gone on, I do find myself sleeping better with less painwaking me up in the middle of the night and I generally feel better in the morning. My friends had an immediate positive response to the their purple but mine just took a bit longer to get there. We are happy with our mattress (although I'm still wishing for the dimensions of a normal mattress - my husband is a big guy) I once heard that when your body is messed up for awhile, it takes awhile for your body to get back to normalcy. I think that's what happened in my case. The power base is good, although we hardly ever use the functions. It does shake a bit when my hubby kicks with his restless legs. The purple mattress doesn't absorb his movements.
