I had cervical spine surgery at 25 years old. I have since had consistent trouble finding support for both my back and neck. Prior to Purple, I had a firm pillowtop California king sized mattress. It was a nice mattress; however, I increasingly noticed I would wake up fatigued and completely run down before the early afternoon. I'm not kidding when I say I noticed a vast difference in my energy levels within the FIRST WEEK. My sleep has much more quality now. When looking at the pros and cons of Purple vs my old mattress- the only thing I miss is the five seconds of "ahhhh" when laying on a pillow top. I DO NOT miss for a second what that did to my body. I plan to get a seat for my office chair and can't wait to see if Purple develops other products in the future.

It has been a struggle for me to find something to ease my aching back. My previous mattresses had two flaws. They were either too stiff or too soft and they emitted noxious fumes which caused many problems with my sinus tract being constantly stuffed up and drainage at night. The purple resolved both these issues. I now sleep mostly through the night (hey I'm an older man and there is nothing I can do about my need to pee). My daughter bought a Purple and recommended it to me. I would do the same for anyone interested in a good nights sleep.

I have had my Purple Matresss for about a month now and I am beyond happy that I chose this mattress out of all the ones that are available in the world. I have not woken up exhausted or with the desire to ignore my alarms over the last month because I sleep so well on this bed, and overall I have found myself to be significantly more energized throughout the day. I would recommend this mattress to everyone, but especially people who suffer from back pain like me because I have not been having any problems since I switched to Purple!!!

I'm not even concerned about the 100 night trial at this point. After the 60 days the original purple was already better than my Nolah mattress. So now the other mattress is for the guest room. I don't recommend sitting long periods of time if you work from home, because the mattress isn't for those that would want something totally firm. It's soft for every curve of your body, but feels like it's also holding you with the least amount of pressure possible, as opposed to feeling like your sinking in until you reach a flat surface. So it's soft, yet supportive like it's cradling you.

I have had this bed about over a year now, purchased originally in Sept. 2017. While the customer service was okay originally, I'd give the mattress itself like a 5/10. It's a mattress but there isn't anything special about it. I read over 40-50 reviews prior to purchasing discussing the supposed amazing benefits for the body or any muscle tightness, but I wouldn't say I experienced any of that. Obviously all subjective, maybe others have. Overall, functional mattress. Doesn't feel like you're sleeping on anything amazing though.

OK so here is my week review of the Purple Mattress and Pillow!!! I LOVE IT!!! I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE! I love it so much that I ordered the seat cushion hoping to help my hips as I sit and edit photos and video!!! The only sad thing about it is the price...BUT when you get a big item that is going to be under you for MANY MANY years, you shouldn't find the cheapest...I learned that 10+ years ago when we got our last mattress....My hips AND BACK feel perfect when I wake up... I can lay flat on my back now...Brian(my husband) actually commented that I have never laid that long on my back since he has known me...My back has ALWAYS been trouble for me!!! Do yourself a favor and get one if you need a new mattress!!!! ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

I've had back and neck pain for the past 10+ years. We've tried different beds, pillows, with very little relief. The last bed we purchased was a memory foam that was very comfortable, but didn't help that much with my back/neck issues. My wife couldn't sleep on it at all for a few different reasons. So for the past couple of years we've slept in separate beds. When I discovered the Purple mattress, I showed it to my wife and with all of the glowing reviews about how so many people solved their back, neck, whatever pain, we decided to buy one. My wife was able to sleep on it the first night with relief of her issues. Me, not so much, I woke up in quite a bit of pain. I also read that sometimes you need to adapt to the mattress, so I was willing to stick it out for a while to see if it got better for me. Finally after about a month, my pain wasn't bad in the morning like it was when I first started sleeping on it. However, as far as helping with my back and neck issues, I don't think it's really done much to help. My wife is still very pleased with it. One thing it did do though is got us both to sleep in the same bed again. I'm hoping that as I sleep on it more and more it will help me get rid of the pain I've been struggling with. At least it isn't making it worse like when we first got it.

In high school I met a drunk driver going the wrong way in the dark, and I have had recurrent back issues ever since. That was 1969. In June I rolled out my purple and laid dome on it on my back with feet hanging over the edge. In a minute my neck popped, then my middle back, and finally my problematic lower back. No chiropractor needed! Since then I have had no problems with my lower back locking up. I love this bed!

I am loving my new purple. Other mattasses have just never quite worked. One may be to soft to support anything, leaving me with neck and back pain. Another to hard so that my shoulder is crunched and my hips at a odd angle. But since I've started sleping on the purple I have had no pain. It really does cradel me it all the right places.

I always wanted one of these so I was super excited! The first few days was great had no problems or achs. But after that my pain came back" of course I don't expect a bed to take my pain away", I have sciatic back problems. I was just hoping it would help but all and all it's good!
