I've suffered lower back pain for some time, which caused me to not be able to sleep on our old mattress for about 2 months. After getting purple the first three weeks I woke up with back pain. I was a little disappointed but knew from reading other reviews that it was not uncommon for your body to have to adjust. I finally switched sides with my wife and immediately my pain ceased. I've been waking up with no pain for about a week now. I have no idea why switching sides helped but it did (it might be because it's setting on our old box spring). My wife loved it immediately and had great results.

Smartest purchase on bedding we have ever made. My wife and I, both, have serious back issues, and have struggled for years to find a mattress that appealed to both of us. We've run the gamut from coil spring, water beds, back to coil spring, with no success. After 48 years of marriage, we decided to try the Purple XL twins. All I can say is, for the first time in many, many years, we can sleep through the night and wake up without hip and back pain. We put them on adjustable bases and can adjust our sleeping positions for our individual needs. What a blessing the Purple mattresses have been.

Husband and I have been sleeping on the same double pillow top mattress for 10 years and my back always ached. The purple mattress gives my lower back support, and my sides don't hurt when I lay on them for a long time. My husband's snoring as quieted down quite a bit and even his back doesn't hurt when he gets up in the mornings. Truly the best purchase and worth the price.

We have had our purple bed for over a month now and we love it! It's incredibly comfortable and we both sleep great on it. The only problem we had was with the head of the bed. After we unrolled it, the purple grid material was compressed and stuck to itself. After 2 days, I had to take the cover off and individually peel apart each little grid. It took hours. And I don't think most people would have thought to do that, or the patience for it. I'm wondering if maybe they have cut back on the powder coating that's supposed to prevent this from happening because of the silly scandal that bed reviewer caused? I promise everyone reading this. With the quality of the fire sock and cover the mattress comes in, you will not be inhaling any powder. I had no residue on me after I took the bed apart and lay on it for hours unsticking the grid from itself. Also, a bit of advice. If you're checking online mattress reviews, make sure you research the reviewers themselves as well. Because I have found that almost all of them are getting paid by one the companies they are reviewing. Biased much? So anyway, long story short, we love the bed and frame. Just disliked having to peel apart the stuck grid. The end.

When my grandson told me to buy one of these I did but not because he asked me to but because my bed was over 16 years old & a good nights sleep at my age of 77 was very hard to achieve. I wish I would have heard about Purple years ago. I can not believe such a thin product can produce such comfort. The perfect nights sleep I have finally achieved. Thank you so much. My wife is also seriously thinking about buying one also. Your product is amazing & definitely top quality. I definitely got my monies worth. By the way no complaints about the price & quality of the product.

We tried the Purple king mattress and I was never able to adjust. For me, my arms fell asleep (both of them), I woke up multiple times each night and just couldn't ever get comfortable. It seemed like once I picked a position in the bed (side sleeper), I was stuck there and the mattress wouldn't let me move around. My husband tolerated the mattress better but said he was hot and that the mattress felt like it was pinching against his skin. We did very much appreciate the return process. As promised, it was fairly painless and quick.

The bed is definitely good quality. Nice, plush, and soft. It comes in a long rolled up zipper bag, which is very nice, but heavy. Upon unwrapping it on my queen bed frame, at first I thought it would be too short, but as soon as the plastic wrapping comes off it blows up nice and big. The only thing I would recommend is to make the bed in size 12 height as your beds only go to size 10. Overall, I recommend it and the pillows.

I absolutely love our bed, i feel so much support on my pressure points. The first couple days were a bit rough but after the first week we threw out our old mattress and are in love with our purple. I cant wait until the pillows are available , they look amazing and if they are anything like the bed they will make our nights of sleep even better! Thanks Purple!

I've had my purple since January and I would say it's not one of the best mattress I've ever had but it is a very comfortable one. It's not a plushie as I would like in a mattress but I have never woken up stiff or with any pain. The only down fall is that I have a adjustable bet frame, and when the head portion is raise up, it kind of takes away from the comfort of the mattress due to it being folded. But other than that I am very pleased with it.

I was really hoping this would live up to my expectations but unfortunately I have been waking up with a sore back everyday. While the top layer conforms pretty well it just gets to firm. If you took the top layer alone and put it on the floor that would be the best comparison.
