I am liking the mattress but have realized that it may have been my foundation that was truly the issue. May I suggest that you roll it during shipping so that it unrolls right side up. I had to flip this by myself and it is heavy. Sleeping well. Thanks.

Still think my body is adjusting to the new mattress from my old latex mattress. My back is a little sore, but I think that is also due to my pillow-purple pillow is on the way soon-so hopefully this will alleviate this issue. Love the initial feel when I first get into bed and that I am still cool when I wake up. Wish I could have got the purple sheets free with all that I've ordered as my jersey sheets are just ok. I'm only 1.5 weeks on the new mattress and an hopeful that in a few more weeks I'll have no more back aches. Love the advertising and the outside the box thinking with the products!

This bed has made me lazy. Every chance I get, even when I have other things to do, I choose to lay down. It is that comfortable for me! No longer need to crack and realign my back in the morning and I'm waking up less throughout my sleep because I do not have to keep on repositioning myself.

We were excited to get our new Purple mattress. It seems to be a very well made mattress and would probably last a long time. After sleeping on it for several weeks my husband found it to be uncomfortable so we opted to return it for a refund. Purple was very easy to work with in getting the refund processed and mattress picked up. We were very sad it didn't work out for us.

My wife and I have had our Purple for a little more than 3 weeks now. So the jury's still out. At this point, we both like it, but aren't ready to commit to "love". We moved from a traditional mattress to the Purple and found that sleeping on it takes an adjustment period because it is so different, but in a good way. So are bodies are adjusting still but we are progressing with each week. We did find the mattress is a bit more firm than we would have expected--so that's also an adjustment. But, while it is a little more firm then we are used to, it does a phenomenal job of shaping to the contours of your body, which is where you get the payoff in comfort. More will be revealed. hi to all you that are thinking about purple for your next bed I have a back and neck injury...and I always wanted to get a tempapedic mattress but could never afford it now I am glad that I didn't because then never would have tried the purple mattress and I love it, I sleep so good! I wake up feeling great...thanks Purple...

This is the best mattress if you are looking for a good night sleep and something that is very comfortable. Its great how parts of you just sink in and everything else is supported. I was sad that it took so long to be delivered but then you have to realize that it is being hand made in the USA and is so worth the wait. OK, now for the bad parts. If you want to be productive and on time to work this mattress is not the best. It sucks you in and makes it so you don't want to get out of bed in the morning. You will have to set your alarm clock in the other room so you have to get out of the heavenly bliss that is purple to shut it off. My only regret is not getting the king mattress. I will be giving the queen to my teenager next year and ordering the king.

We purchased a New purple mattress 2 (King) in March 2018 and I have to say we had very high hopes. Upon first laying on the bed it felt very comfortable. My wife, who was 8 months pregnant at the time, was unsure of the comfort but decided to continue to try it out. After my youngest son was born, her comfort continued to decline. She is rather light-weight so this may be a contributor. Back pain, and tossing and turning is a normal nightly occurrence. My personal experience has been ok. While my first impression may have been an 8 out of 10. My current assessment would be a 4/5 out of 10 with some nights with back pain and others with descent sleep. This tends to depend on my sleeping position. I'm usually a stomach sleeper but seem to have better success on this mattress if sleeping on my back. I have an athletic build and again, assuming this is a contributor. We also bought our 5 year old son a New purple mattress 2. Maybe he's just mimicking Mom, but when he wakes up in the morning and complains about lower back pain it's pretty amusing and needless to say, Purple mattresses aren't a favorite in the kindergarten class. Unfortunately , between the pregnancy with changes in body "type" and life, the 100 day trial quickly expired before we decided this really isn't the mattress for us. We contacted Purple customer service in October to see if anything could be done but they were not able to accommodate a return past (agreeably double) the 100 day window.

Waking up with back or hip pain had become a daily issue for us. My husband had even seen a doctor because of his hip pain. After spending so much on our soft and extra plush pillow top, we thought something had to be medically wrong. If our old pillow top mattress was comfortable at first and causing this pain, we did not want another like it, and we did not like the sinking in and stuck feeling many of the memory foams gave us. Choosing a new bed is so difficult. So many choices out there. My husband sleeps mainly on his stomach and I am a back & side sleeper. Finding a bed that gives both the comfort and support needed and wanted not easy. While our research uncovered several that we thought might meet our needs, we were a bit nervous on how this bed would work out for us. Neither of us are light weights, and we both get hot easy at night, so the purple's added ability to stay cool convinced us to give it a try. The bed was more firm than we were used to but we both felt the difference in how we felt the very first morning after and every morning since. It has more than met our expectations. We both stay cool all night and neither of us wake up in pain!!! We love our purple bed!!!

Nothing is perfect in this world but this comes very close. As a full time working wife and mom of four boys, a bed that fits my standards to crawl into at the end of the night is NEEDED.  We've tried many beds but nothing has come close to THIS. Would highly recommend. Thank you Purple for creating this!! Firm but soft. No more pain or sleepless nights. No more waking up hot and uncomfortable.
