I am a heavier woman. This bed was great until the side where I sleep started breaking down and losing its support. I used to love this bed. Waking up pain free and sleeping wonderfully. Now I wake up sore. I can definitely tell that the material where I lay is different from the material that surrounds my body impression. Unfortunately, purples warranty only replaces the bed if there is a 1 inch deep impression "after recovery" which means that they will never really have to replace a mattress due to the material that is used for their beds. I anticipate that there will never be a 1 inch deep impression, the larger issue at hand is how unsupportive the material has become where I lay overtime. It recovers to its semi normal height when I get up, the issues is that the material has more give now after time.

It seems my body is getting accustom to my new Purple. I don't have as much pain as I did with my old mattress. however I still have time in my 100 night tryout time. Hopefully I won't need to buy another mattress and return this one. We will see.......

Our Purple mattress (and pillows) perfectly supports my body, and keeps a consistently comfortable temperature all night. We slept on a very expensive major brand name memory foam mattress for years. After awhile, the memory foam does settle into dips where you lay, so you are no longer supported like you were at first. Also, sleeping hot was a really major issue with the memory foam for me. It's great that Purple gives you 100 nights to try it out. But, I have no intention of sending it back, LOL! Also, I received my Purple sheets this week, and they feel AMAZING!

This was our first experience with ordering a mattress online. We researched for about a month, and also tried some mattresses in the big box stores. We kept coming back to this one, and finally decided to order it. It was the best decision. My wife likes firm and I am more of a medium firm to soft. Believe it or not we both love this mattress, and highly recommend it. It conforms to your body, it's more on the firm side, yet very soft as well. If you were thinking about this mattress, give it a try. There's no risk.

My old mattress was 20 years old and a good night's sleep was the exception, rather than the rule. My Purple mattress arrived 2 months ago and not a good night's sleep if the rule, rather than the exception. I refused to believe that the technology of a spring mattress is the best we could do. But, I did not like the feeling of sinking into a memory foam mattress. Purple gave me a solution to this lose-lose situation.

Maybe this mattress works better for heavier people, but although the mattress feels great to the touch, there is very little sink into it while you are sleeping. It's almost like you are floating on top of the mattress, which I guess some people prefer but I personally like to sink into the mattress and be 'cradled' by it a bit. Purple needs to have a much softer version for people that don't weigh as much.

I was a bit skeptical purchasing a mattress on-line without giving it a try. Boy was I surprised. I WILL be a lifetime Purple mattress customer. The first 3 days were difficult trying to get used to the comfort. I was all over the place and honestly I didn't sleep well. Now, I lay down and stay put. I have never had a better mattress and couldn't imagine sleep without it. Thanks Purple team for what you do!

I had back and shoulder pain the first few weeks as my body adjusted to the new mattress, and I was thisssss close to returning. But on week 3 everything evened out and ever since then it's been great! Additionally a few of my sheet sets from my previous Queen mattress don't fit this one...

I knew that I needed a new mattress as I began having back and hip pain after years of sleeping on my traditional spring mattress. I was a bit overwhelmed with all the choices out there but took a chance on Purple and love the mattress. It feels soft because of the purple grid but is really supportive at the same time. It's so comfortable and I haven't had any pain since I switched mattresses. It's a bit expensive but totally worth it!

I have had my mattress for going on 30 day now. I was a skeptic, but with the 100 days risk free, I thought, why not give it a try? I have NEVER slept better in my life. I love it so much, that I ordered a seat cushion AND pillow. The Royal Seat Cushion is equally amazing. I have had lower back pain for going on 15 years. My chiro has always told me to get a new mattress (Sleep Number) however I didnt want to pay 2200 for a bed. Ever since I started with this mattress and seat cushion, My back has not hurt me ONCE.
