Bought a Purple (now the Purple Classic) after my 10 year old memory foam mattress left me waking up sore every morning. Tried some other memory foam in a box mattresses, but found them too soft, and too 'hot', and I was still waking up sore. When I got my purple mattress, I was initially thrilled. I was finally waking up without any pain, and slept better than I had in a while, but it didn't last for long. Within a year I found I was waking up feeling sore again. After a year and a half the side I slept on is noticeably lower than the other side, and it is visibly deformed. Looked up the warranty info, and found that there needs to be a 1 inch depression for them to replace it. This means I'll have to deliberately keep sleeping on the smushed side for a few years to qualify for a warranty replacement, or switch to the good side and get up to 1 year of comfortable sleeping which will cause the depressions on each side to even out and make it impossible to ever meet the 1 inch threshold for a warranty claim. And even if I did get a new mattress under the warranty, that only means 1 or 2 years of good sleep before the replacement one suffers the same problem. I'm a tall skinny guy; if the mattress can't stand up to the minimal load per square inch that my body places on it, there's a serious flaw in the materials used. Bottom line; this mattress is only good for a year or two. Poor value when a mattress should last for 7-10 years.

Wow. This mattress has changed my life. As a millennial I had NO CLUE the importance of a quality mattress. I had the "if it fits, I sits" mentality when it came to buying a mattress. But then I discovered this gem and could not be happier. It's the BEST mix between firm and soft. Never going back to any other mattress.

We've had our purple for about a month now. I can't tell you how different we feel waking up every morning! I hurt my back 7 years ago and 4 beds later, this is the 1st one that relieves my pain at night. We've told all our family and the ones that are in the market for a new mattress are getting this one too! Thanks purple for a better quality of life!!

I think it's so hard to buy mattresses. Don't they ALL feel comfy when we try them out in the store? The question is how it will feel a year or five years or even up to the ten year warranty time. I've slept on my Purple mattress for about a week and I love it. It's all that was promised. I hope to be able to report the same in later years. The concept and materials make sense to me, so I'm feeling optimistic.

I don't want to start this review off enumerating all of my ridiculous ailments, but let's just say they are many and I wanted a bed that might help me forget. We had a firm mattress that was supposed to be supportive, but holy mackerel that thing was like one of those boards they strap people to after they have had an accident and aren't allowed to move their necks. Stiff, Straight, and incredibly uncomfortable. Second we went with a memory foam mattress that felt like such an improvement over the stretcher I'd been sleeping on, it felt ungracious to find fault with it. Unfortunately memory foam, while much more cradling than a piece of plywood, wraps you in its foamy arms and makes you sweat it out sauna style. Sure, it's cozy for a little while, but who wants to wake up feeling like they've been sweatin' to the oldies with Richard Simmons? Not me, folks, not me. Enter purple- the most glorious mattress I've ever slept on. It feels so luxurious to sleep on Purple that I am contemplating having an entire suit made of this stuff and just sleeping anywhere I please. It will change the face of bus rides and road trips to say nothing of post office lines and ferris wheels. - Truly, I love this bed, it makes me so happy. No more achy hips and ankles, no more sore backs, and sweaty sheets. Just blissful sleep. Go get yourself a Purple.

I love my new bed. My back feels great and I have had very little back issues since. All of the positive reviews are spot on. Might feel a little hard at first but with the right sheets and a few weeks its amazing. Best bed ever. Only part I was a little upset was after buying this, the pillow came out. Now if you buy a king sized bed it comes with the pillows. Still trying to save money to get the pillow as it must be as amazing as the bed.

I used to toss and turn all night. I would wake up several times and never feel rested the next day... And then I got my purple mattresses. Now I sleep through the night and usually wake up in the same position I fell asleep in. My back and legs don't ache in the morning like they used to. I am 100% satisfied with my original people mattress.

After we got the Purple mattress it took me only one night to fall in love with it and feel so much better. It took my wife about a week. Both of us now are sleeping better and our bodies feel so much better in the morning. Also, our dog Piper loves it to.

We had a very unusual experience with getting the New Purple bed after already owning an original. The New bed was the 2 inch which was more for back sleepers and me and my wife were struggling to get used to it. Eventually we needed to use our 100 days to return the New mattress and go back to the original. We had used Affirm to get the bed and although the trade-in process "seemed" extensive, it ended up being incredibly easy and FAST. Once the new Original bed was here, the 2inch one got picked up, and the following day the Affirm account was closed. Best of all two days later I had a full refund. Amazing service and quick.

My wife and I are 57 and 54 respectively. After having our other mattress for about 5 yrs, it was already causing pain! The original purple gave us a lot of relief. And my wife and I both love the pillows as well. (No neck aches!) Although they do take some getting used to at first. The Mattress and pillows are also very cool to sleep on, especially since we're both combination sleepers. Enjoyed the sheets as well. Overall the experience so far has been a good one. Don't see us returning it or getting a different mattress anytime soon. Would highly Recommend.
