Shipping and customer service was a little sketch, got some bum information from their chat service (which took forever and kicked back to the back of the line repeatedly). That said, I don't believe in down grading a product that is awesome (with a great development team) because customer service is trash. Just know they are going to suck, but the bed itself is fantastic. We have been debating getting a purple for years and I finally caved and it is totally worth it. While my body hasn't quite adapted to having a cooler mattress, as in I'm acutely aware that it is there, my sleep isn't poorly affected by the new type of mattress. Both my husband and I have slept better, woken up with less creaks, and find that we sleep more soundly. I'll review in the other product, but the mattress cover is loud...so if you need quiet, maybe find a different one...or double sheet.

We had noticed my wife waking up with back issues on our old mattress and decided it was time to upgrade (we also got the news that she was expecting our first child). The hard thing was she is a back sleeper and I am a side sleeper. We did all of the online research and came up with Purple and one other company that would probably work for us. We dropped by our local mall that had both company's outlets and were able to decide on the Purple mattress without any questions. She acclimated within days and her back problems disappeared. I took a little over a week, but once I acclimated, we have both slept so much better than before! Definitely going to keep our Purple mattress.

We did a lot of research when moving into our new house and wanted to finally get a 'real' bed, especially a Queen a size. We wanted to believe in the Purple cooling and 'soft where you need it' waffle technology and have been quite pleased since we purchased it. When I had a partial right knee replacement in September, we were still sleeping on our old, VERY expensive pillow-top mattress, and I was MISERABLE! In December, I had a total left knee replacement, and had just received our new Purple mattress the week before surgery. Recovery was AMAZINGLY easier on the Purple mattress. I've been not sleeping well for a while and really needed a new mattress. I looked around at all the current options. Your video and several testimonials online sold me on Purple and I was very excited to try it out. In short, it's just too firm for us. It doesn't have any give and we feel a lot of pressure on our shoulders and hips. My wife couldn't sleep at all so she went and got a 3" gel-foam pad to go on top. That seems to be doing okay right now. I know we had a 100 night guarantee, but I don't really want to mess with returning it and finding something else. We'll see how it goes for a few more weeks.

If you are the kind of person that values sleeping without waking up uncomfortable, being comfortable prior to falling asleep, and you like money- buy this mattress. THIS IS BETTER THAN MEMORY FOAM! You will not get hot in this bed. Great work, Purple.

I don't normally take the time to review items, but this is an amazing mattress. It's supportive, soft (but not too squishy), stays a comfortable temp, and very easy to move around or get in and out of. This will certainly be my next mattress purchase as well. If you're reading this, buy this mattress.

We bought this as a bed for my step son and a guest bed when he is not there, but I have been sleeping on it while our room gets painted and it is an awesome bed!! It makes me want to get one with an adjustable base for our room but in king size. It is great in every way and I get a good nights rest every night I have been sleeping on it. I think guests and my step son will be happy!!

I purchased my Purple mattress 6 months ago. I have degenerative arthritis in my lumbar spine, so I need a supportive mattress but it also can't be too hard. Purple was perfect. I was finally able to sleep relatively pain free. After about 4 months the same issues I've had with other mattresses started to show. Because I don't move much when I sleep, the mattress is already breaking down where i lay on it. When I'm laying on my back, I can feel the mattress dropping and my spine twisting. Now I toss and turn trying to get comfortable. So disappointed.

I have also purchased the purple pillow and I'm able to sleep well on my side. I wear a CPAP device and the pillow does not interfere like my previous pillow. My back pain in the morning is much less than my previous bed as well. I can't wait for the next 60 days of comfort.
