[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea of extra protein in Mac and cheese is very enticing because my 5 year old moves Mac and cheese but the taste is noticeable to her and because of that I would swap this for the original Mac and cheese.

The noodles were a little stiffer than standard Kraft Mac and Cheese, but the taste was terrific. I used the cheese packet and added a few other ingredients to make a creamier sauce. I expect that it will become a normal part of our dinner options in the future.

I found the taste to be average. The only bonus is that it's high protein and easy to make, therefore perfect for a quick dinner. The cool time is very low and the dish comes together very fast, good for a week day dinner. The texture is gooey but kinda watery, I would prefer more creamy texture.

The texture is more substantial than regular mac and cheese, which I usually find mushy. I wish the flavor was a little more bold, but the whole family liked it and we weren't hungry mid-afternoon.

I also added high-protein milk, to give it a kick more since I needed more protein that day. The consistency of the noodle might be slightly chewy, but I prefer it to the basic Kraft Mac and cheese.

It still has that classic Kraft flavor and creamy cheese sauce, but with added bonus of 17g protein. It was quick and easy to make, the noodles cooked well, and the cheese melted smoothly without being grainy. It's a great option when I want something comforting but a little more filling.

I would absolutely get this on repeat knowing it's for extra protein. The size was the same as a regular box of Kraft. Definitely works as a meal or as a side.
