The added protein isn't noticeable by me, my husband nor my very very picky 3 year old. Easy to prepare and perfect for a busy family that needs to get protein!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Krafts powermac is a great Mac and cheese if you're looking for a protein kick. This lineup tastes just like any other kraft mac and cheese with the added benefit of protein, they use pea protein in their pasta. The only thing I didn't care for is the cheese, it barely sticks to the pasta and is always the downfall to krafts boxed mac and cheeses.

I have not tried other protein pasta, so unfortunately cannot compare the flavor to anything else. I will say that this is pea based and not chickpea based like some other pastas. I felt there was a very stark difference in the first bite, and even though I finished a full serving, I did not like the flavor of it even once my palette got more used to it. I feel like picky kids would not be a fan and would hate for a parent to have wasted a meal. I would suggest if you're trying to put more protein in meals to add tofu or your choice of meat. I'm sure there are people that the different taste is not as apparent and are happy to get more protein. I'm glad companies are trying to make more easy protein meals to remind people (i.e. Americans) to eat more protein. Sadly, I will not be a customer of this product as I felt the taste was not satisfying and I didn't particularly enjoy the meal. Picture is before I added the powder mixture as I was given "white cheddar" and this "original" flavor to try. *I was given this product for my honest review*

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the flavor, however, I think I would like it to be a little creamier, with a thicker consistency, although this can be achieved by adding external cheese. I liked it and enjoyed it. Also, I really like that it has vegetable protein!

It tastes like normal Mac and cheese, but the noodles were slightly tougher. I'm not sure if this was how they were cooked, or if it's because they're more protein focused.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PowerMac is awesome! The flavor is great; a bit different than the original Mac, but I can't quite pinpoint what. The noodles are denser and a bit chewier, but that's not bad and I personally prefer it over softer noodles. The smell is the same as the original, and makes me hungry while I make it. Preparing it is simple and makes for a delicious addition to any meal or a good snack on its own. The extra protein and fiber are a great help.

Because it has pea protein in it, the pasta itself has more chew in it which I prefer. It was easy to make and my family enjoyed it very much. It tastes almost the same as the original Mac n cheese except for the protein pasta. Overall, it was good and will repurchase.

Portion sizes are great to feed a family of 4. It looks just like regular Mac and cheese! I can't taste a difference either.
